Excellent value for money. 5 stars for value. Large freshly cooked breakfast was excellent. Bed comfy. Large room which was pleasant. Nice decor. Staff were friendly.

There were faults that other customers have mentioned. However at the price paid this was superb value! I’d say about half what other similar places would charge. Reminder me of a Best Western hotel, if you’ve stayed in any of those you know what to expect. Overall the great value makes it a no brainer to stay at.

The Swan Hotel is an old qwirky hotel in the very beautiful village of Whalley. The hotel is central to the shops, bars and coffee shops in the village. The staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. Brekfast was huge, freshly cooked to order and delicious 😋

There was nothing that I didn't like, however, the stairs were steep. Our room, The Pendle Suite, was chilly. It has huge windows which are lovely but allowed a lot of heat to escape. The radiator in the bathroom didn't work. Neither of these caused us to enjoy our stay any less. It's an old building, it's gonna be draughty

Check in was straight forward and the person was very friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Spent the evening in the bar watching the football on one of several screens. Ordered some dinner, which was very nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast the next morning was very nice. I was only staying here because I couldn't find anything where I needed to be. This was about 15 mile away from where I wanted, but if the same problem occurs again I will happily stay here again.

For the price paid we cannot complain - really good value for money considering the location, parking available free of charge and a very large full English breakfast, tea and fresh juice available. If I had to be critical, my only gripe would be the showers not being very powerful. Not a big deal but anyone with long hair needs to just allow more time really and the main thing however is the constant supply of hot water.

Convenience! It does what it says on the tin. The room had a large bed, a wardrobe, a television, a desk and a nice view onto the main street through town (not noisy at all). It also had a toilet, sink and shower. Its a pub/hotel/and serves food. Very good full English breakfast. Staff were exceptional!

The carpeting looked a bit tired and the room (while tidy and functional) could do with a facelift/refresh.

Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and very generous too! In a great location with a pizza place across the way, surrounded by pubs and entertainment at the swan excellent.

Although the room was clean it was very dated with wall paper peeling from the wall and shower doors falling off. Location fantastic but very loud until early hours (incase anyone goes with children who don't sleep well with noise).

The staff were lovely, very friendly. We had 3 rooms, all were large and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at a B&B

The only problem for us were the stairs up to the rooms, my daughter has walking difficulties, the stairs were a bit of an issue for us. This is a lovely old building, I should have enquired if the hotel was suitable for people with mobility issues. I would recommend the hotel to anybody else.

Quaint, cozy, historic building in lively upscale village. Right in center of town on main road with busy traffic. Lots of Pubs & restaurants of various cuisines in walking distances.

Lack of new technology components, like USB ports, TV wasn’t latest model also (smartTV). TV was hard to select channels for looking News & Weather reports, or local happenings.

We had a brilliant time. The staff were lovely and the food was good. The room was cosy and clean. It wasn't overpriced either. There was a band on, on New year's eve and they were excellent. The atmosphere was great too. We were taken outside to sing Auld Lang Syne at midnight with the locals. All in all we had a blast.

Only a couple of moans. There was a bright light above our bedroom window and the room was too light for me. I would advise you to take a sleep mask. There was a lot of traffic noise and noise from people leaving the pubs..

We stayed at the hotel because we were attending a wedding at a nearby venue. The staff are welcoming and friendly. Our room was a great size, bathroom was huge with a bath and over bath shower. Bed was really comfy. Full English breakfast was delicious. Couldn’t fault our stay at the Swan.
