-The location is perfect, a very short stroll to the beaches and market stalls but despite the proximity it is genuinely an oasis of calm once you step inside the door in the wall to the stunning gardens that await you! -The rooms are generously spacious and with particularly high ceilings -The terrace area in front of the room is surrounded by lush greenery and towering plants / trees -The authentic and original design of the room gives it a boutique feel -The shower is quite simply the most powerful shower I have ever enjoyed (including my own at home in Ireland!) -The cocktails and food are delicious and incredible well priced for what you're actually getting. You will not find the typical cocktails on the menu, they are so much better! -This might seem like a small thing but the music that's in the background as you walk around the grounds is very cool, perfectly curated to put you in a relaxed mood. It's something that's way too often overlooked in hotels and restaurants -As a coffee lover, I have a to mention the best cappuccino we had in Zanzibar was here! -Last but most certainly not least, the staff. In particular Ricardo the manager. What a legend! Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We had several great chats with him over the course of the few days about life in general but he also taught us a lot about the locality and country and connected us with some of his local friends to who taught us and showed us more. He was available for whatever we needed. At the same time if you want to keep yourself to yourself, it's perfectly possible to do this here as well. Pascal at reception also deserves a call out, so efficient and made us feel right at home from day one. The girls who work here are also very nice. -My husband and I, in our 40's had been in Kizimkazi, Paje and Stonetown before Nungwi and this accommodation was our favourite!

Nothing - and believe me when I saw I'm typically quite fussy about where we stay with a sharp eye for detail!

Best place in Nungwi to stay and to eat . Realy great host Margo who sorted all our problems within seconds. Would recomend 100%. Breakfast super good, staff great, attentive, friendly. Best service. Also great beach very close by with the most amazing sunsets.

Atti's isn't just another hotel; it's a peaceful green island in the middle of the village. The place is full of small details that make you feel like somebody thought of you. The room is big and quiet, with hard, comfortable beds and soft pillows. Every day, they supply you with fresh water and keep the room super clean. The staff is friendly and professional. The hotel is located a few minutes from the beach and has a great breakfast.

If you want a Holiday for your Soul and Mind, meet the most lovely People and come back relaxed and happy, book this magic Place. The Room was absolutely awesome, Fan and Aircon, and a beautiful Interieur!! Bed was Handmade by the Owner and a piece of Art by itself! The Breakfast is so delicious and more than enough to start your day right, Juice, Coffee and Fruitplate included, and don´t forget to eat Dinner and have some Cocktails at this Place, it is phenomenal. We ate there every single Day!! The Stuff is so lovely and attentive you will love it! And thank you for having us, for all your advices, help, and nice talks and that you made our Holiday to one of the best we ever had, we will be back for sure!! Not a single thing to complain!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Atii, it exceeded our expectations! The rooms were really big in size, and equip with stylish scandi style decor throughout. Our private balcony looked out onto Atii gardens and was a very comfortable relaxing area for us on an evening. It had an egg chair and a sofa/table. The cleaners do an incredible job, they attend your room everyday and clean to a perfect standard, every night is like your first night! They also refill fresh filtered water in your room everyday. We arrived at Atii and used the laundry service which we found to be effective, fast and of reasonable price. The bathroom is large, open and has a shower with good power and hot water. Our drain produced a foul smell and the maintenance men attended right away to investigate. Breakfast was included in our rate, and there was so much choice of the newly designed menu. Every day they make fresh juices, of which you can have unlimited amounts. The chef was able to cater for our vegan diet, and the staff really went out of their way to try and understand our needs. We have made some suggestions to the owner regarding more vegan options and clear labelling on the menu to avoid future confusion with kitchen staff. The option to have take away breakfast boxes was amazing for us with early starts and departures. The staff were incredible, so kind and friendly. From the moment we arrived, we knew them by name and were able to develop a good friendship throughout our stay. Ricardo, the hotel manager is young, friendly and super knowledgeable. His English is 10/10 and he was able to relay any information to staff who didn’t understand us. His chatty and helpful nature really made our stay fabulous. His presence in the hotel really made us feel like anything we asked would be dealt with right away! Pascal was front desk staff and was super lovely, warm and helpful too.

The air conditioning was not super powerful at night however I believe this is a community issue as the voltage drops at night time. Ricardo called the maintenance team out right away to assess the function of it. The strength of the Wi-Fi was not the best. We had difficulty maintaining connection and had to move around the property to try and seek connection.

I spent two nights in Atti with my mother and we couldn't have had a better experience! The location of the guesthouse allows you to walk in a few minutes to the main restaurants, local shops and the beach. The room was super spacious, comfortable and sophisticated in its simplicity. The hotel restaurant serves absolutely delicious food. A special thanks to Pascal who made us feel so warmly welcomed.

We didn't have any major problems during our stay. The air conditioning on the first night presented a minor problem, but it was promptly taken care of by the staff.

We were very excited to visit Zanzibar for our honeymoon, and specially, choose a unique accommodation that will make our stay unforgettable. Now we can say we couldn't choose a better hotel, Atii Garden completely exceeded our expectations. Rooms and garden is exactly like on the pictures (in reality even better), mattresses are super comfortable, staff is very kind and friendly, food is a real gastronomy and the location is the best in whole Nungwi. We loved every single detail in this place and don't regret we didn't chose a bigger hotel with the pool. The most beautiful beach on whole island is just 3 minutes walking. Tip: go for the room with external bathroom :)

We loved this place! It is an oasis of calm. All the staff are very helpful and show hospitality which can barely reach european standard. They do care not only about your room but about you as well! They are always ready to help, recommend or just chat. Thank you so much for all your effort guys! I don't have to even mention a relax option at our apartment's teracce where we had a hammock, you can ask for drinking water how often you need for free, there are many breakfast options, you can take fruit, yogurt, tea, coffee without limitation plus take one warm meal from the menu. I am sure there is no problem for vegans etc. but we love eggs for a million ways so we were happy :) Don't hesitate to try room with external bathroom, it's just great.

We loved everything!

It was 10 out of 10 exerience for me.The location is great(easy to find your way to the beach),they have a wounderful garden,the room was nice and clean(I could always have fresh dringing water),the outdor shower is spectacular,the food was delicious and the staff was professional,very friendly and helpful(especially Ricardo).I wanted to extend my stay,but unfortunately they were already occupied.The next time I'm not considering of going anyehere else.

I have no complaints

Great accomodation, with nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, a beautiful Garden and a superb breakfast / kitchen. Outstanding is the always nice and supportive personel. We had an amazing time and can comprehensively recommend Atii Garden Bungalows.
