location and the facilities. they have amazing backyard pool vibes and bar. the beach is a walk away.

there are no rugs on the bedroom and one has to use the towels as side rugs. if you can also incorporate tea and coffee in the rooms as one wakes up early and want to have the first coffee cup in bed.

Breakfast, staff, design, lounge area (although we didn't use it very much). I imagine this would be more suited for young people who like to party, in high season. We went in low season, so very few guests. They offered a separate room for our daughter at no extra charge, which was very nice. Kudos to a very helpful staff member who found us a boat trip at VERY short notice, since our original agency canceled

The room in the picture looks nice, but the actual room was as if you removed all the decorations and accessories, so looked a bit bare. It's functionally the exact same room, but it looks much "cheaper" in reality than in pictures. I presume it was low season, so not many guests and therefore no point to maintain all the stuff they presumably usually would

The stay was amazing. Hands down one of the best in the Islands. Jean and Sarah were adorable and took care of us - giving us suggestions, delicious breakfast spread and even upgraded us to a superior room. Cosy lil corner, cute room layout. We went during the June first week and since it was the beginning of the tourists inflow - we almost got the entire pool area, bar to ourselves. All the staff members there - cleaning, kitchen and bar were warm and welcoming folks. Their place is conveniently located a bit far from the hustle bustle but at the same time - walking distance from the main Grand Baie/Bay area. It was overall a great experience - we had a great time.

Suggestion: please have the washrooms installed with faucets since there are a lot of South Asians traveling to the Island.

Sous Le Badamier is a simple, clean and well-located nice guest house. Good breakfast with fresh bread and croissants every morning which I loved. Could be improved with a few more options but it worked well for me. The owners are warm and extremely helpful. Spent 10 nights, was leaving early but Jean-Pierre helped me with packed breakfast (usually served starting 8am). They gave great recommendations of places to see.

The towels could be changed more often.

I liked the independence for me as a solo traveler and the friendliness of the staff and people who worked there who were able to ask any questions. Facilities were good, and the room was always clean. Pool was nice to relax in and you could get a beer or food anytime. Walking distance from the beaches.

There was construction happening opposite the guest house but that's unfortunately out of the hands of the guest house itself.

The breakfast was adequate for us as it had the necessary requirements a breakfast offers. The staff do take pride in their work and offer any assistance they can to make the breakfast a pleasant experience. The place is 3km away from Grand Baie and easy to get there by bus at a cost of 17 rupees. The place has a great bar and a greater bartender right beside a clean and beautiful pool.

i didnt like an unexpected cyclone as you are not allowed to move anywhere. The host though was very accommodating to allow us to check out and wait at the hotel until the authorities gave the all clear later that evening

Friendly and easy going staff, if you need advice or have a problem or some request they will happily serve you. The bar inside the place adds some points up because the area (at least in February) is not really "alive" so enjoying a drink in a cozy bar under your room feels really good.

More of a mismatch, maybe we should have checked better on the map, but people may think the place it's minutes away by walk from the main beaches, but you actually need a car or you have to get a bus. We had a car so we actually had no problem with that.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great! The lounge space by the pool looks great but we didn't quite use it, since we are family. Probably much better value for younger people

The room was a bit basic, but it's comfortable. The street is quiet but a bit out of hand, which was no problem since we rented a car

Lovely quiet location, clean and simple guesthouse with a nice on-site restaurant . The hosts were warm, helpful, and always smiling. Early check-in and late check-out were offered without hesitation which really made my overall trip experience so much better.Absolute value for money . Definitely recommended .

It was the place where I felt most welcome in Mauritius (1 of 4 hotels). Cozy place, very attentive and warm staff , good breakfast, nice SPA and the lady working where. I loved my stay in this hotel.
