I love this hotel. Every room is different. It's very modern. Simple check-in check out. Attached to a covered parking garage for convenience. Parking is pricey. It was $46 to park from 3 pm until 11 am. the next day, so it was not even 24 hours. There are restaurants, shops, bars, Van Andel Arena is super close to this wonderful hotel. All walking distance from hotel. Very clean and safe feeling area. This was my 3rd stay at the hotel and will be staying again in May.😁😎❤️

Perfect downtown location, easily walkable to Van Andel Arena and other local venues. Stylish decor (they say each room is different; I would have loved to have seen some of the other layouts), very comfortable beds and bedding, security room card swipes required in the elevator, which is a great safety feature. We got very lucky finding free street parking, but the parking garage is just around the corner if necessary. Good coffee with real creamers (not powder!), hair dryer, iron/board in the room. Big beautiful walk in shower.

If you do have to use the garage, it's an additional $40/night, but it's worth it to me to be within walking distance of shows and restaurants. We did not get a chance to try the restaurant, but that's not their fault.

The bed was Devine! The pillows, like a cloud. The heated floors were a nice touch as well. The room felt a little cold (not temp wise,decor wise).

I think it's ridiculous to pay nearly $50 for parking when it's not even valet. I wish that there was a discount for parking or better yet just having it validated. Honestly it would deter me from staying there vs like holiday Inn that has free parking.

They said my room was on the second floor, but it felt like a basement. One tiny window high up looking on what seemed to be a window well. Next time I'll say I want a view. Also, people should be warned about the price of parking.

I liked the location. Being able to step out the door and have all the shops and restaurants to explore was a great experience. Also being walking distance to the concert venue was nice. The parking garage with easy access to the hotel was also nice. I will definitely be back to the City Flats hotel.

The location is outstanding! The hosts at the front desk were great and the beds were comfortable.

Parking, you're on your own to find street or structure parking. Not a huge fan of the design of the rooms and lobby, very cold.

The decor of the room was a pleasant surprise. I like the unique layout as well. It was very quiet, no noise problems. Location was terrific for going to dinner, DeVos center. Walking there was easy.

Not enough towels, no mini fridge! If we had stayed longer I would have requested that! But honestly was a great place!

Location was excellent, we had to be on the ferry early in the morning and it was very nice to be so close. The furnishings and decor were lovely, very comfortable.

Parking was adequate, but dragging luggage and other items around to the front of the building and then up the stairs… a bit much for these folks.
