Very close to Newmarket Race Course (£12 in a taxi) and also very close to high street for shops and restaurants etc. room we stayed in (July Suite) was superb. Breakfast was good (buffet style) but asked for fresh poached eggs and chef made lovely eggs for me.

Our initial room (room 6) was not very nice, smelt of cigarette smoke and looked tired. I politely asked reception (Molly) if we could look at upgrading our room and paying extra. I was very happy indeed in how Molly did her very best to sort the issue out, and after some Negotiations, and her speaking to a manager, managed to upgrade us to a suite at the price I’d been quoted online (as was still available) we were then moved to the July Suite which was so much better and a beautiful room, very spacious with a couch and large bathroom. I bought Molly a bottle of wine as a thank you for how she handled this so well. Molly couldn’t have been more polite, professional and very helpful, thank you.

Excellent location just on the outskirts of the Town Centre & also near the gallops so you can see the horses being exercised. We had a lovely large room ( Superior King Room) with air conditioning & a mini fridge, the bathroom was beautiful & the whole room was exceptionally clean. A good variety of teas & coffee were provided in the room with biscuits too.The staff were all very friendly, would definitely stay here again.

The bedroom doors seem to slam quite easily which isn’t great when guests are coming in late or leaving early & you are trying to sleep. Some bottled water in the fridge would have been nice but not a problem . The outside space wasn’t great as it’s in the car park .

Was a budget small internal room with corridor window. Bathroom n bedroom was exceptionally clean. Very comfortable bed. Lovely large soft towels. The bathroom items where replenished with clean towels etc. on second morning by housekeeping [two night stay] plus a refill of tea coffee n more biscuits. Room had brilliant air conditioning n telephone for contacting reception. Shower n bath had good water pressure

Sink hot n cold water pressure was extremely low. So could be a nuisance for some people. But bath n shower made up this as the pressure was perfectly fine. One of the near bedside wall lights on left hand side of the bed [room:16] didn't work but a table lamp was provided as a temporary replacement. Not all television channels had a signal but not REALLY a disappointment.

The room was large and well-appointed with King Size bed, a sofa, and easy chair. The bathroom was clean, and all the facilities were working. Breakfast was cooked to order, substantial and tasty. If you came to see the race horses this is a perfect location with the gallops only a few minutes walk. The main street in Newmarket is a 5-minute walk away. I visited the National Race Horse Museum which is well worth a morning's visit. Wifi is provided and has sufficient bandwidth to support business or watching a movie on line.

Lovely room although noise from garage did wake us early morning.

Had to wait good half hour for breakfast which was disappointing as we thought we had left plenty of time especially as we were going on a Newmarket trip to see Frankel and had to be at the nearby racecourse on time. Once we had complained to the staff our cooked breakfast came within several minutes. We noticed other guests received their cooked breakfasts with five minutes or so. We arrived at 7.35 and were served with hot drinks straight away, the restaurant was not very busy so not to get our breakfast until 8.10 meant rushing our meal which was not a pleasant experience

I ordered an Archers and soda in the bar and it tasted 'off' It was the bottom of the bottle, so she went and got a new bottle. It tasted exactly the same. We were still charged £13 for it (as she suggested we made it a double) I took it back again and she said its a new bottle and suggested I may have covid! Very disappointed as I have drank Archers for many years and it definitely wasn't right.

I only stayed 1 night for a work do. The people were friendly and helpful. I had a single room with a single bed which was exactly what I booked, the room was spacious with plenty of tea and coffee and clean all over. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had a really good shower. Breakfast was nice if a little pricey. When I returned in the evening there was music coming from the bar but I never heard it in my room.

Nothing really, skirting board paint was a bit tired but it didn't effect my stay.

We brought our dog, he’s a huge Akita, and honestly he was welcomed by all members of staff enthusiastically. Other guests loved him too. It’s the first time we have taken him and I couldn’t thank everyone enough for being so accommodating and caring. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and every time has been great. The staff are lovely and so friendly. The location is perfect, especially for early morning viewing of the horses going up the gallops. Also a nice short walk into town which is great.

We were really pleased with our economy room for our overnight stop. Didn't miss having an outside window as we arrived in the dark anyway and our window was opposite an outside window across the corridor. The corridor we looked out on only served a handful of rooms so felt very private. The bed was really comfy and slept like a log. Good bathroom with toiletries supplied. And we had biscuits! Staff exceptionally friendly and couldn't do enough. Breakfast delicious and hot from the self service counter. Definitely likely to stop again on our many travels to Norfolk, lovely place and great value for money.

The room was OK for our two-night stay but any longer we would have struggled for space to keep our clothes with little or no drawer space! The staff were all very friendly, especially those on the front desk, they made me aware that overnight two of my tyres had slow punctures and were hands-on to help and advise of local garage to get them checked, brilliant sevice.
