I've stayed here before, it's good value, friendly staff and while not in the very centre of town, an easy walk in. It has had a refurb since I last stayed, so it does look more modern. You can contact the staff via WhatsApp and the replies are prompt. The shower was really hot and powerful. There are bars, restaurants and a bakery nearby, and a supermarket across the park, a 5 min walk away. It also has a sensible check in time. Most hotels are 15-16.00, but I checked in at 13.00, basically as soon as I got there

The room was very hot. I was unable to open the windows more than a very small amount. Obviously the Hotelier can't control the weather, a fan may have been available but I got in late each night. I did put the green tag on my door one day but it didn't get cleaned. It wasn't a problem for me, but might be worth sending a WhatsApp to confirm.

I read a few reviews prior to booking and hotel exceeded my expectations. It was clean, comfortable and in a good location. The rooms are small but that's to be expected for a budget hotel in a central location. The lack of lift is not an issue as that is made clear by the hotel.

Would have liked the checkout to be an hour later 11 instead of 10. This is also explained prior to booking so just something I would have liked.But still would recommend if you want a budget hotel that's clean, comfortable and in a good location.

Great hotel! The room was clean and cozy, and the staff was very friendly. I had to check in late at night and was a bit worried about getting into the hotel, but communication via WhatsApp was so clear, helpful, and polite that the check-in process went quickly and smoothly. Thanks for the great service!

Clean, tidy room. Body wash and soap dispensers in bathroom, though it was not clear if vegan friendly product. Good location close to amenities. Easy, uncomplicated walk straight down to railway station. Passing one of the Romanesque churches en route. Close to Hop On Hop Off bus stop useful when returning from day excursion. Room felt secure. Solid door. Good selection of bars and restaurants. Really unusual pub on corner when turning right from hotel. Very friendly and quiet. Excellent Asian 100% vegan restaurant close by.

Two single beds in an obviously single room giving you little space to move around. Shower curtain did not fully fit so very difficult not to get water on to bathroom floor. There would be advantages to be provided with non slip mat in shower unit and a mat for bathroom floor, too. Otherwise good room.

The person managing the place was very friendly and helpful.

No elevator. Breakfast starts at 8:00. Very small room.

Only thing I would suggest for the TV to be bigger. But apart from that I love everything about the hotel.

After pretty much travelling all night, getting into my room early was amazing for me and I really appreciated this. I was able to leave my bag and then return not long after and everything was ready. The hotel was in a decent location for my event and about 15/20 minutes walk from the centre, train station and Cathedral. There were a few places to eat and drink locally.

The shower tray is very shallow so you should be careful not to let it overflow and flood the bathroom floor.

Very nice location with friendly staff. The room was bigger than I imagined with comfortable beds and a very small kitchenette in the corner of the room. The hotel is under renovations but we were not disturbed by any loud noises.

I think the only thing it could be improved is the cleaning of the rooms, quite some dust and garbage under the beds. And also the shower needs a new clean shower curtain and a more stable shower head.

No lift and you can hear a little bit people in other rooms.

As i read on previous comments, the hotel is always under renovation... and it is true. N no elevators.
