Place was conveniently located right near Victoria station. Not even 10 min walk to Buckinham Palace. Room was clean, both shower and tub. breakfast available at low cost. Beautiful street and neighborhood. Fridge and kette available in room.

We could hear people above us moving around in their rooms, not surprising seeing it is an older building, some lighting in our room were broken, and elevator was out of service on checkout day so we had to carry our luggage down 3 flights but other than that we enjoyed our stay!

we visited the hotel twice around a cruise from Southampton, each time taking a full day to visit London. the location is perfect both for transfers and visiting London. the hotel is very pleasant and quiet. special thanks to Irena at the reception for her kind and professional help.

the beds are a bit small, especially for large people. the breakfast is good, continental plus is included in the booking, but for English breakfast is extra cost. this was not explained in the booking forms.

Location was wonderful. Close to Victoria station and also round the corner from Westminster. It’s a lovely suburb and I felt very safe here. I was worried as I had read of some negative reviews but I can’t fault the room - I know it was small but I had a small double bed, separate ensuite and dressing area…. Very much a room for a solo traveller. Hot water and room was so cosy. I think it might have been very warm in a hot summers evening but I was there end of December. Will return to this hotel next time I’m in London.

To get to fourth floor you must take a lift to third floor then climb some steps.

Location was great, walking distance to Victoria Station and Big Red Bus stop. Hotel on a lovely Belgravia Street in walking distance of nice cafe and boutique pub. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very pleasant in a lovely breakfast room and we were served by attentive staff. Our room was spacious and clean. Just one thing the shower tap- its not like one I have seen and it took time to adjust to comfortable temperature. I suggest checking with staff if unsure.

modern yet charming decor, convenient location just a couple of blocks from Victoria station, close to restaurants and bars, mini fridge, plenty of places to plug in chargers, rainshower head, comfortable pillows, decent continental breakfast options, one of the staff recommended a laundry service that worked out very well, we enjoyed the quiet feel of the neighborhood while still being only a few blocks from transportation and conveniences

we could hear other guests in adjacent rooms as well as the toilet flushing from rooms above, narrow hallways and tight elevator (which was not working our last day), tight room size as the door opened up right into one of the beds

The room was spiffy clean and up-to-date in its decor. The staff was friendly. The location was excellent. The air conditioning worked great. There was a lot to like about this place!

The room was so small that they had narrower than average twin beds. You could barely navigate the tiny spaces to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. If your physique is larger and wider than average, I think you would struggle with how small this room is. At $300 a night once the exchange rate was factored in, it seemed expensive. Part of that may be the strong pound versus the dollar, and part of that might’ve been because it was late August—a popular time.

This is a perfect boutique hotel for a stay in central London. We come into London 3 to 4 times per year and love smaller hotels for the hands on treatment that you receive. This was probably one of the best we have come across in a long time. The room itself was very comfortable (excellent bed and linens) and quiet (located in a quiet neighbourhood and at the back of the building). All staff were extremely attentive, pleasant and went well above expectations to make our stay perfect. The front desk staff were particularly good for both check-in and check-out experiences and in accommodating even our smallest requests (additional water, in-room coffee etc). Breakfast (we had the continental) was plentiful and of good quality. Overall, this was an excellent experience and I think we have found our go-to hotel for our future trips to London.

The Tophams Hotel is ideally situated in the heart of London within walking distance of the main attractions i.e. Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament. there are plenty of places to eat and drink around the hotel, so if breakfast is not included you won't get caught short. If you need to go further Victoria Tube station is a 3 minutes walk. The hotel is following a trend were it is more self service i.e. minimal staff, although the staff that we did encounter were friendly and welcoming and told us everything we needed to know. Rooms were serviced daily and there was nothing we needed to call reception for.

We were given a Mews room, which is the sub pavement level, while the room was clean and everything provided for, the noise from the street level is very evident, because of where the room was the corridors were also very narrow and poorly lit. It was fine as we were only there for a couple of days and we were out most of the day, if we were staying for longer we would have asked to change rooms.
