The proximity to transport was excellent. The hotel was grand and reflected its history well. Our (eventual) room was lovely and had a nice front-facing view. Almost all of the staff were friendly and accommodating - Concierge in particular.

Our check-in was uncomfortable as the particular staff-member was more like a prison warder. Then our allotted room was lousy - like a broom cupboard with half of its ceiling consumed by, what looked like the underneath of a staircase. And very difficult to get to (rabbit warren with 2 lifts) We asked for an alternative room and were very pleased with the replacement.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Clermont Victoria in London for about a week in one of their Superior Rooms, and our experience was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and cheerful welcome from Aleks at the front desk, which set the tone for our stay. Our Superior Room on the 3rd floor was not only comfortable but also offered a partly view of the adjacent Victoria Station's roof and the breathtaking skyline of London. The room was cleaned daily, and the complementary drinks and snacks were replenished daily as well, adding a thoughtful touch to our stay. One of the standout features of this hotel is its excellent location. The Clermont Victoria is within walking distance of some of London's most iconic tourist attractions, including Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, and the London Eye. And if you ever needed a break from walking or wanted to explore a bit further, the proximity of the hotel to Victoria Station made it incredibly convenient to hop on a bus or train. The hotel has a separate entrance from the station. Despite being situated in a bustling part of London, The Clermont Victoria felt like an oasis of calm. The lobby exudes a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff members were consistently friendly and helpful. What's more, every time we walked through the beautiful lobby, we were pleasantly surprised by the subtle and non-intrusive house perfume, which added a touch of elegance to the ambiance. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options to choose from. What made our breakfast experience truly special was the kind, welcoming, and helpful staff, with special mentions for Isabel and Mohammed. Their genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. In summary, The Clermont Victoria in London is a gem of a hotel.

There were no significant disappointments during our stay at The Clermont Victoria.

The location is perfect for exploring london on foot (can walk to Buckingham palace, green park, hyde park, covent garden) and also by train (right next to victoria over ground station and the tube). The room was quiet and bed very comfortable, also hotel itself is a very cool old building with a lot of history!

The building layout is strange. To get to our room on level 7, we had to get one lift from lobby to level 5 and then walk across the building to take another lift up to level 7. This would not be convenient if you travel with a lot of luggage or you are travelling with someone with mobility issues. Also the lift on level 7 broke on our last day so when checking out we had to carry our luggage down stairs to level 5 which was tricky. Overall hotel is good value

The high end feel of the hotel perfect for our anniversary. The location was perfect for our trip from Victoria station. The Reunion bar was beautiful, The Soak restaurant attached to the hotel was fabulous, good service, good food, great cocktails and a lovely atmosphere.

just a small thing but there were dark mould marks at the bottom of the the tiles in the shower. not expected for the standard of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel and great location for sightseeing

To get to our room on the 3rd floor was somewhat strange. We got the lift ….. walked down a few corridors, then had to go down some stairs to get to our room. To go downstairs, we went via a different route. Down some stairs, lift and then down another set of stairs to the reception. It might be just the room we were staying in, but felt it disorienting.

Breakfast was expensive and adding a service charge for something that is self service is a little unfair

Room was good, lovely very large bed, bath as well as shower. Mini bar included in price - yes even a small selection of alcoholic drinks. Very quiet in the room - old building with solid walls so couldn't hear the TV or other noises from the next room. Great location if you travel by train from Kent or Sussex to Victoria, as you don't need to take a taxi or lug cases on the tube. You can't hear any noise from the station when in the hotel.

There were no drawers for clothes just hanging space in the wardrobe. Wireless phone charger didn't work. Both fried and scrambled eggs at breakfast were cold.

Our room was spacious (we did have an upgraded room) and very quiet considering the location. Also loved the location - we walked to most sights, Buckingham Palace approx. 10 minute walk. The underground and Victoria train station are right there at the hotel. Many restaurants, pubs, and small cafes in the immediate area. Very easy to also grab a cab anywhere. Hotel restaurant was great - tried it our last night and wished we had more time to go again. They were down to one elevator due to repairs, but waits were not long at all. All staff very helpful and pleasant. We enjoy staying in hotels with character and modern conveniences and the Clermont exceeded our expectations.

Loved the hotel itself. Loved the location. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly. The room exceeded expectations. Very fair price for what we had and matched our expectations. Very satisfied customers.

One of the lifts didn’t work, which was very slightly inconvenient as we had to take the stairs up a flight to our room. Not the end of the world and didn’t take anything away from the experience. Had the afternoon tea which was extremely poor. Sandwiches were nice, middle shelf was ok and felt like they could have come from a packet, but the top shelf was poor and some of the things felt a little old. Unfortunately felt a little ripped off at approx £90 in total. We will shout to everyone about how great the hotel was and will stay again, but will not recommend or repeat the afternoon tea.

The Clermont Victoria is an excellent hotel at an excellent location. The hotel even has it's own entrance from Victoria Station! The room was rather small, but big enough, it was very clean, there's a nespresso machine and a water kettle, the bathroom is nice and, most importantly: the bed was super comfortable! We slept like roses.

Our room was in the annex building, which meant taking the lift in the main building to the 4th floor, walk quite a bit and take another lift in the annex building. The first elevator was a long wait because there's only one of two lifts in service, the other one for some reason or another also made us wait for ever - in the end we decided just taking the stairs was much faster. Just one lift for so many guests is quite little!
