I love this property. From how AMAZING and friendly all the staff are and professional to the beautiful entry way once you walk-in. The staff almost leap to help you and offer water, if I could alone rave about how fantastic the staff are- huge kudos to them! The property feels new and clean. You can’t beat the location, right across from the beach. They have everything you could ever need, from a convenient food/coffee/snack shop, gym, drift restaurant (loved the pizza) and a hot tub. You can also use the laundry service. Let me not forget the Tammy Fender spa attached to the Opal- now that is a relaxation experience all on its own. Best massage I think I have ever had and got to enjoy the infrared sauna after my massage. It was a wonderful stay and I am now a huge fan of the Opal.

People were very helpful and friendly. The wrist ban for room entry was good.

The fridge in the room was very loud. They added a movie on the bill that we did not see. The cleanliness of the pool was not good. Lot of floating debris when swimming. They did not offer free chairs for the beach which is normally a standard for every other resort. You could not use the peleton in the gym because a part was missing. Could not self park. Had to use valet. The vacuuming of the room was not great. Could not sit on the balcony. No chair to sit on in the room besides the office chair. Room was to small.

ALL of the food and beverage offerings are fantastic! I was so pleasantly surprised that for a hotel, they were hip, practical, well priced, fun --all the things right down to the coffee shop in the morning to the roof top bar, to the pool side cafe for lunch -- we ate in all of them. IT was perfect! Staff is also very, very congenial.

The room is not very stylish... I know this is a make-over from a Marriott, but the soft goods and the interior of the rooms are just meh. I also HATED that in our resort fee, you do not get a chair at the beach. That is super uncool.

The room was beautiful. We had a partial water view and we were able to see the ocean. The room was beautifully decorated. There was a refrigerator and massive TV on a tilt-out mount so it could be oriented for watching from the couch or bed. The valet staff were great at making us feel welcome. We also spent time in the Monkey Bar which served great cocktails and we had a great time there. The food was great as well.

The check-in process took longer than expected. There were two stations open but there was a pretty long line. Someone did offer us champagne while we waited which was nice. We did hear a lot of noise from the adjoining room. Also the TV remote did not work though we could have easily called to get it fixed. The most disappointing was the room service. While it was great that they offered it at all (some nice hotels we have stayed in do not even offer it anymore) when the food arrived it was all in take-out containers which was not the experience we expected in such a nice hotel.

The location of this hotel is excellent. The hotel is beautiful with lovely interior decor. Directly across the street from the beach. Also easy walk to many shops and very good restaurants on Atlantic Ave strip. The hotel and rooms are very clean and well appointed. Lovely white soft linens and towels, comfortable beds and nice amenities in room, ie toiletries, Nespresso machine and mini fridge. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Several options in hotel for food and beverage and an excellent spa on sight. I had a full body holistic message that was blissful.

No beach club affiliated with the hotel would be the only drawback. There are vendors on the beach that rent chairs and umbrellas for 60$US per day!!

Amazingly friendly and accommodating staff, great pool services, perfect location, super clean, cool building, little perks like turndown service and ice pops at the pool… it all goes a long way. Beautiful rooftop bar with mostly covered seating and fans. Staff was the standout - especially poolside.

Drift was our least favorite meal of the week given all the other fantastic restaurants downtown. Not bad at all - just wouldn’t return based on what else is out there. Also, a little too kid friendly at the pool - I lost track of the amount of times someone’s teenage son hit me with their beach ball.

We loved our room ! It had a balcony ! Also I loved that I was able to text the front desk. Very convenient to do restaurants ! . The pool bar staff is amazing !!! They are friendly and so accommodating The front desk staff is also friendly and helpful

The fire alarm went off 3 times when we were there ! That was a little annoying. 2 out of 3 were false alarms.

Friendly staff, although we arrived well before the 4 pm check in time we were welcomed with a glass of champagne and early check-in. Turn down service nightly, with chocolates! Great decor. Easy walking about town, beach, restaurants, shops. Hotels bars and restaurants were great and rooftop bar was wonderful. Very easy to get Uber when needed.

On Sunday, had to wait for chairs around the pool.

We had the best time staying here at the Opal Grand Resort and Spa. It’s a great location, as well as being clean and beautiful. They go out of their way to make sure your stay here is enjoyable! We will definitely stay here again.

The elevators needed maintenance.

Comfortable room and great bed and luxurious linens, with a separate sitting area, perfect location at the beach, staff was really friendly and helpful, a short walk to bustle and restaurants but near the hotel it’s really quiet, lovely beach and pool area.

It would have been great if the hotel had chairs on the beach (was $60+ a day to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella), but this seems to be a Delray Beach issue not the hotel’s. Also would have been nice to be able to order food from the hotel to the beach.
