The staff working in this hotel are phenomenal! We were originally booked to stay 2 nights (one night before and one night after the safari) but due to some unfortunate incident we were left without a room on our second night. Joseph the manager apologized and explained the situation and made arrangements for us to stay in a nearby hotel (which was also good, but we still liked Mrimba better). He drove us to the nearby hotel in the evening and picked us up in the morning and even offered a room for us to use for 3 hours since we had a late afternoon flight out of Arusha. We really appreciated him going above and beyond for us and we highly recommend to book this hotel!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff was lovely, we felt at home. It’s a good quality/price option. The staff was very helpful either to accommodate for vegan option on the menu or provide guidance for going to town. The staff was very friendly.

The room is a bit noisy since the window is on the main road. Nothing excessive. You need transportation, taxi or tuk tuk to get into town. But we knew when we reserved, we expected it.

Fantastic stay for two nights (start and finish of our safari) at Mrimba Palm Hotel. Joseph and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and provided us with whatever we needed, even a towel each to take on safari we forgot to bring them. Great service, rooms are lovely and with a great view of the mountains. Would absolutely recommend. Looking forward to seeing Joseph and crew next year when we travel back to Arusha in Tanzania.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Management and staff are super; very friendly and always helpful to support us with airport transfer and breakfast packages for early departures. The rooms are clean and the facility is well maintained, dinner in the restaurant was very good. The lodge is easy to get to on paved roads (unlike many other locations in Arusha), but there seems to be an error on the booking.com map.

The location on the booking.com map is not correct. The lodge is further South, ca. 10 km from the city centre. Check google maps for real location.

The hotel is really good value - a great, clean room with good AC. We arrived pretty late for check in and had to leave at 5am but the staff were friendly and helpful and organised a box breakfast for us. A great stay before our safari.

The hotel is pretty far from the city centre / restaurants but you can eat at the hotel. The WiFi in the room was a bit unstable but it worked well in the reception.

Joseph is amazing. So caring and cooperative. The staff were polite and friendly.

The food. However it’s something personal. My friend and I didn’t like it. Breakfast was ok. The location is not near city center. And you can’t just go out and get a ride as a girl. So you have to spend more than usual for transportation

It's our first ever visit to Arusha, Tanzania and we were in awe of how beautiful this place is. Reaching the hotel we were superbly impressed by how accommodating and professional the hotel manager Joseph was. He gave us a really lovely room upstairs with a huge balcony. Super comfortable bed with mosquito net, with hot shower, everyday the room is well cleaned. The food was delicious and even the other staff were extremely of excellent service. Great value of money for the nights we stayed in. Well recommended 👌 👏

One word: AMAZING. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, everything is super clean, and the staff is simply amazing. Dinner is delicious and very affordable. We had to leave super early in the morning, and we received a breakfast box and a coffee to go to not start our trip with empty stomachs. Definitely the best hotel I stayed in in Tanzania so far.

There is nothing we did not like.

The staff is good and friendly, and also has a nice view, can see Mt. Meru.. really appreciated when the staff tried to help us by finding someone to send us to Arusha bus station early in the morning coz no bolt driver available (we nvr expected this will happen), thanks a lot!

Maybe the room needs more lighting

The breakfast was really good, it's not a contintental breakfast but they offer eggs in all variations, toast with avocado and croissants. And there was plenty, so can definitely recommend it. We arrived around 22.00 and didn't had the chance to go for dinner yet, but they still wanted to make some food for us which was really good.

WiFi was not working in our room, but they immediately called their IT company which came the other morning to fix it. So they are really customer focused. Location is a bit far from the city centre, but a tuktuk would cost you around 3 dollar if you're good in bargaining. They can call them for you and agree on a price if you want.
