I always stay here when traveling through Arusha. The staff is excellent, they remember you when you are a repeat customer. The value is excellent, not fancy, a quiet oasis in a busy city. Drivers are available for errands in the city and pick up from the airport. Would not stay anywhere else.

The Outpost meets and exceeds my expectations. There are more western style hotels nearby, but they do not offer more than the Outpost. There is nothing I don't like.

Outpost isn’t a high end hotel but it has everything you need and it does the job. Decent breakfast and the staff were really helpful when I needed to check in early and helped organise a taxi to the airport for me in the early hours with a takeaway breakfast

It’s near a noisy ish road so be prepared to hear a few cars and motorcycles throughout the day.

I have stayed at Outpost many times. The location is slightly outside town, but easy access. It is quieter than most areas of town. The pool is like ice but nice to sit on the edge of and watch other people freeze. Beds are comfortable, staff are wonderful and many have been here a long time, the restaurant has nice food and is a nice place to sit and work, there is quick laundry service (same day if early enough), pretty much everything is wonderful. I forgot my laundry last visit and they held it for a week for me. The gardens are beautiful and the property charming. Coming here is really like coming home for me. It is a great place for everyone except those who want to be centrally located in town.

The only things I give a very slight markdown on (not enough to affect my rating) is that some of the rooms are in very good condition (windows work smoothly, etc), but others have some things that need fixing, like lever windows not closing, curtain rods not staying put. The other thing is that rooms close to reception may receive wifi signal, but those farther away do not. These inconveniences are usually pretty minor unless I need to use wifi at night.

Vi really enjoyed hanging around by the pool and taking a swim every day. I would recommend the place especially to families with kids. Great personall and good food. Close to the city centre.

The facility is situated just over a wall by a trafficated road with some noice and air pollution.

it’s good but rooms are worn off and in need of update, mainly of its equipment (beds, windows, mosquito nets (they don’t work), bathrooms furniture, accessories etc) without loosing its character.

Quiet, green oasis in a residential area outside the center. We loved the LUSH garden with wonderful old trees. Good breakfast included. Large room on the ground floor with a lovely little, shady terrace. The restaurant is surprisingly cheap and serves delicious food and cappuccino!

Lady at reception was a bit indifferent, but this was no problem for us :-) Room and bathroom not especially cosy - door didn't close. But thanks to the little terrace in front and the great restaurant, we would stay here again anyway.

Lovely property with lots of natural, lush vegetation. Nice pool with plenty of shade. Convenient restaurant with excellent coffee/espresso drinks and pretty good food. Friendly staff. Excellent bargain, given the price! Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town!

Well located. Rooms really clean and comfortable.comfortable lounge areas and a bar. But it was the staff who made it such a special stay. They were all so kind and friendly and went out of their way to offer any assistance. Even organised some day trips with an excellent guide. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had a great stay at Outpost Lodge. The garden was my favorite thing there - so exotic and green. The room was nice! I especially loved the pool area. We had dinner at the restaurant every night - the food was delicious and the portions are so big 😊 Staff was friendly :) Thank you!

The room was pretty noisy, we heard everything what was going on in the room next door :(

Safe location, good security, comfortable bed with mosquito net, friendly staff, nice garden.

The rooms could do with re-painting, the swimming pool was dirty with leaves and bugs floating in it. Overall this was one of the cheaper options in Arusha so the standard was expected
