Location was great. Not crowded and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Safe, and street parking was readily available.

The breakfast wasn't great. It wasn't bad, but maybe instead of doing an American breakfast poorly, they should look to do a Mexican breakfast really well. Also, we were upgraded to the luxury "Junior Suite", but we booked the Presidential Suite and weren't notified of the change until we arrived at the room. Apparently, it was double booked? Also, the pool on the "Luxury" side was dirty. We used the other pool, which was also dirty, but less so. Overall, it was a nice hotel that could be great with some small changes and attention to details.

We stayed for three nights. The hotel is well located. Not far from the main square, about 20 minutes walking. Close to beautiful Paseo Montejo. In the area there are so many good restaurants. The staff was wonderful. So kind. Breakfast was very good. Maybe not much choice but what they make is freshly made and delicious. We had the Presidential room. It was huge! Bathroom huge also with a lot of towels.

Although the bed was really comfortable, the pillows were awful! Hard as bricks!! I ended up using a cushion that was one the chair to sleep. There is a roof top pool. It could be a bit cleaner.

Fantastic reception team, they were so kind and helpful. I had my wallet stolen on the bus to Merida, and lots of fraudulent charges were made and they helped connect to the police who brought us to the right place to make the theft report I need for the bank. They also had great food recommendations. Location is fantastic, and the pool up top is such a nice lookout point.

Only thing to keep in mind is that not all rooms have windows. The room was nice and dry, and we spent most time in the city and out so it didn't bother us.

The staff and service at Casa Continental could not have been better and exceeded my expectations in every way. I stayed for two weeks, during which time everyone was kind and helpful, especially Najeli and Pedro. Their hospitality made me feel like family. I can also say the same about the cleaning staff, who had my room immaculate with fresh linens every morning as soon as I returned from breakfast. Top review! 110%!

Everything was perfect.

Beautiful rooms in great location. The staff was helpful and so welcoming. There's no elevator but the staff was quick to carry our bags and a little exercise was good for us for such a nice room. Bed was comfy, and a wonderful array of restaurants were just steps away.

No elevator, a bit loud on Friday and Saturday night but the air-conditioning fan helped drown out the noise and kept us cool.

Perfect location, very hot water with good pressure, great room and THE most attentive staff. They made arrangements so we could have our pick-up Christmas dinner on the terrace. People do make a difference and they were awesome!

You get to listen to what is going on at the Lobby and the electrical pump during the night but it didn't bother us much as we sleep like rocks!

Nice spacious hotel close to restaurants and evening entertainment. Wish we stayed there longer. It was very comfortable

Bathroom floor was a little slippery when getting out of the shower. I didn’t see a bath mat. Might be handy for some folks. Just a suggestion

The service was simply AMAZING and the room was huge, clean and with A/C. The location was simply perfect, by the main road and close to downtown. Also, right in front of a Restaurant with local food, music and great atmoshpere.

The location was perfect. El paseo de Montejo was right around the corner and all of the restaurants on Calle 47 were steps away. The room was clean, fairly spacious and had hot water and great water pressure in the shower
