Knoll Hill Farm is a beautiful place to stay. We were greeted by Joss and Dougal the dog who was very friendly. Joss is a lovely lady and showed us round nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was amazing staff were exceptional. Room comfortable and spotless. Couldn't ask for any more. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to book. 🥰

There wasn't anything we didn't like. I would recommend taking a fan for the warm nights there isn't one in the room and with the warm nights we would have struggled to sleep we had a small travel one with us. But this is a personal item we take with us all the time anyway.

The price didn't match my expectations, it was so much better and more than we expected. Breakfast was really good with several choices and it set you up for a busy day exploring. The staff were very friendly and happy to chat and our room was stocked with everything we needed. Lots of little extras like milk in a jug if you didn't want the long life little pots of milk, help yourself to a wine glass in the kitchen if you fancied a drink in your room. The little things that you don't get at most places but make your stay memorable. The gardens were a bloom with flowers and the setting was so relaxing, any stress just melts away. I would thoroughly recommend Knoll Hill Farm and would book again in a heartbeat.

The shower head had a mind of it's own but it was no biggie!

We loved everything about this B&B which we booked for our wedding anniversary. We were warmly greeted by Amy who presented us with an anniversary card which was so thoughtful. It's no surprise it's called The Place To Stay! The staff are wonderful, the location is excellent & lots to visit within a 30-45 minute radius. We had the standard double room which was lovely with a very comfortable bed, very spacious bathroom and a powerful shower. Everything was super clean. The bed is tidied up every day and fresh mugs and biscuits are provided. There's a beautiful garden with plenty of seating and lovely views over the countryside. It's so easy to relax at this place. The breakfasts, served in the kitchen conservatory, are cooked to order and are just amazing! A gentle 10 min walk down the road takes you to the White Hart pub that serves traditional pub food and we had 2 good meals there. We enjoyed watching the animals back at the B&B with horses out to graze, ducks and geese in their pond and of course the two dogs Dylan and Dougal who are friendly and no bother at all. We are definitely making plans to come back later in the year and Knoll Hill will be our first choice. Our thanks to Joss, Amy and all the team for a fabulous 3 days.

Absolutely nothing!

We had an absolutely beautiful stay at Knoll hill farm.. it truly is 'the place to stay' if you are travelling around the local area. The property grounds were stunning, and had we not been attending a family wedding, I would have been more than happy to spend my day sitting in the beautiful garden. The staff were incredibly welcoming and were always up for a little chat, which was great! Breakfast was incredible, and cooked fresh using fresh local produce daily. I am pleased we managed to enjoy two exceptional breakfasts during our short stay. The local pub was lovely and again had a lovely welcoming atmosphere.

I absolutely cannot fault this property and you get exactly as expected! If I could add anything, it would be a small drinks/snacks service and a swimming pool, but these are of course personal preferences and we got everything we could have possibly wanted out of our incredible stay!!

The location to Longleat was fantastic, it was a beautiful small holding with farm animals which was really interesting too. The staff were really friendly and so accommodating, it made it a really relaxing weekend. The room was lovely, really well equipped and very welcoming and comfortable. The property had plenty of parking with CCTV as well to protect your car etc. The bathroom and shower facilities were great with a lovely big bathroom and both a bath and a shower.

There wasn’t much to not like as it was a really great place to stay. There was only one thing I would say is that we could at times hear the other people in the room next to us as the sound insulation was not that great but it was an old property and they had done their best to make it as sound proof as possible…it was not a massive deal and wouldn’t stop us from staying there again.

The location was fantastic! There is a pub no more than 5 mins away that serve big hearty meals (except avoid the pizza, that’s a little small) The owners and staff are truly fantastic, so kind, caring and helpful. They will also leave you be if needed. The room was big enough for the two and dog, with a good size bathroom and shower. And my goodness that breakfast! My husband is still talking about the breakfast!

The only thing I would change would be remove the metal bed and replace with a divan as it can be a little noisy… And the carpet… but really that is really looking for something I didn’t like.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. They couldn’t have done more for us. Really impressed with all of the communication and service we received. The gorgeous and charming pub was only a short few minutes walk down the road. Very beautiful place, lovely grounds, lots of birds and very rural , village feel. Lovely place for a get away. Our room was very very clean; the shower was powerful and amazing! The bedding was the most comfiest bedding I have ever slept in! The breakfast was cooked fresh and delicious. The staff were so attentive. A large cafeteria with fresh coffee served to us on arrival. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent communication, wonderfully warm welcome, nice room (Longleat). breakfast was huge with good quality ingredients. best bacon(obviously not from the local supermarket) I've had since I was a child. nice but of fried bread as well, if you like that sort of thing.

the shower was a bit too low for me, I'm 6'5" so won't be a problem for most people under 6'. just a minor thing, the sausages were very good quality and well cooked but they were herby, I hate herby sausages. Not really a problem as the breakfast was too big for me anyway and everything else on the plate was superb.

Absolutely beautiful views the whole place is. The animals, loved everything. Amazing staff all friendly lovely and welcoming, stayed for my girls 3rd birthday and they was kind enough to leave balloons and card on her bed. The breakfast is so amazing the best breakfast I’ve had by far. Short walk to the hart inn which was nice. Also gave us discount for our longleat tickets was so helpful in every way. Would 100% recommend.

Nothing, only minor which was a very comfortable bed but just a little noisy everytime you moved.

Absolutely charming and we received a very warm welcome. It was my birthday and I found a large helium balloon and a birthday card in our room. That has never happened to me before and I have travelled extensively. Great breakfast and comfortable beds. The proprietor Joss and her team were very helpful with suggestions as to what to do and tips about getting there. They also booked dinner in the local pub for us. The property itself was in a beautiful, tranquil location and was full of interesting objects from all over the world.
