Everything, the location was perfect. I loved the room, particularly the bath. The whole place was very modern and clean, with a huge kitchen. The host Luca was so attentive. He checked in regularly to see if l needed anything and even drove me to the airport. I would highly recommend this accommodation to everyone. Five Stars.

Highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a calm place in the centre of Catania. It was quiet despite the perfect central location, extremely clean, everything working well in the room. The bed is comfortable, aircon powerful enough in the summer heat, I even had fun trying out a weird jacuzzi tub. I had a self check in which made everything easy and flexible, the owner provided detailed instructions and he was very responsive, great communication. There is a whole kitchen with breakfast foods provided (toast bread, muesli, and stuff like butter/eggs/cheese/jam/yoghurt in the fridge). I didn't try out the other breakfast option of going to a cafe. Would definitely go back for short or longer stays.

This was a very nice apartment building with an exceptional kitchen area with a very well-stocked fridge made available to guests. The location of the building was very good being in the heart of the historic centre which meant that as soon as you left the building everything to do and see was close by. Communication with the host was good prior to checking-in with full easily understable instructions and information provided. Very good value for money.

The one thing I didn't like was the sound of the pumped water supply. Clearly, the pump was located behind or close to the bathroom wall and every time a toilet was flushed by you or someone next door there was noise intrusion. This was a particular issue during the night if, as we had, someone next door goes to the loo several times during the night!

A spacious, quiet, comfortable room with everything you could need plus a phenomenally well equipped shared kitchen and great breakfast with options to try a variety of Sicilian specialties. The hosts were wonderful, sending us a pile of useful info before we arrived, including tips on good local eateries and bars. We had a memorable pizza and drink al fresco at a lively place around the corner. Next day we explored a colourful street market just off Piazza Stesicoro, a stone’s throw from this well located gem of a B&B.

Not a problem for us but those less able should note the B&B is upstairs with no lift.

The host Luca was so helpful and provided lots of helpful information and recommendations. He also regularly checked if we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. It made the stay more personal. Great location and breakfast included at nearby restaurant or in the shared kitchen in apartment was a lovely touch. Apartment had comfy bed and pillows and had everything we needed.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed using the hot tub after a long day of exploring. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee, tea, water, juices and snacks. I was very appreciative of how much effort Luca and Anna had put into making sure their guests are as comfortable as possible. The breakfast is provided by a proper cafe they partner with so you get a fantastic selection of really good coffee and pastries. The location is perfect - close to everything you'd want. Our flight back was not until much later following the check out time but Luca allowed us to keep our bags in the apartment and even gave us a set of keys to keep so we can use the communal/kitchen area to relax before our onward journey. I would recommend this place and if I'm ever in Catania again, I'll endeavour to book my stay here for sure.

The entrance to the apartment is a little confusing at first and there are 4 flights of stairs, so fair warning to those who cannot climb. Because Catania has a lot of cats the stairway to the apartment had a faint smell of cat urine. You don't need to deal with this for long though because the apartment itself is fantastic.

Everything about this accommodation was to our liking. Comfy bed, L-shaped sofa to lounge on. Spacious bathroom and the kitchen facility is an exceptional addition which was a surprise. Wi-fi connected in easily but most of all the instructions and assistance from our hosts Luca and Anna were outstanding. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Breakfast at the cafe was not our best experience, I felt the food in the fridge in the kitchen offered more than what was on offer from the cafe. That said, it was a nice place to people watch from.

Right in the heart of Catania. Felt safe. Close to big pedestrian shopping area, lots of restaurants, big supermarkets. Convenient to central bus/train station (approx 18 mins walk). Alibus (airport transfer bus) just 5 mins walk away . Great shared kitchen area with plenty of food provided for breakfast and snacks. Use of cooker, kettle, washing machine. Owner quick to answer questions via what's app. Really enjoyed our stay xxx

Close to the city centre. Beautiful modern room with jacuzzi, breakfast is basic but everything you need is in the fridge. + You can get an extra small breakfast in a bar around the corner, this is included in the price. Good communication with the owner using Whatsapp.

No elevator in the building and the B&B is on the 3th or 4th floor so took a lot of effort to take our luggage to the room in a non air-conditioned hallway. Staff does not speak English.

La Cupola was an excellent place to stay for me. The room and en suite were perfect, with plenty of space to hang clothes and spread out a bit. Large bed too.

This didn't bother me, but as other reviewers said, the rooms are only accessible via quite a few stairs, so those with accessibility needs should consider that.
