Excellent place and hotel. It's probably more correct to call it a B&B, because it was a 1st floor apartment (with 6-8 rooms) in an old-time house, on the seashore. As I like these Italian hotels/B&Bs in city centers, in old houses, to get in you have to know the code for a huge door, then go through the courtyard, then some more glass doors, then somewhere deep in the house a retro elevator and that's how you get to your place to stay - it's a real cultural/architectural adventure. The hotel is really very cozy, and the breakfast, which is not at all typical for Italy, also includes salty dishes, which is very important to me. My room had a balcony, it seems like every room has one. The area around the hotel is a promenade along the seashore with many restaurants, about half a kilometer away is the city - Mappatella beach, where you can swim. If necessary, it is also possible to get to and from the airport by public transport.

It's hard to say what you might not like here. Maybe the fact that the window and balcony overlook a narrow, shady street, but it's never the case that all four walls of the house face the sun. And certainly in the hot summer, the location of the room is a big plus.

A beautiful room in a charming building. Our room was spacious and had a balcony with a waterfront view. Breakfast was very good served in the quaint breakfast room overlooking the Lungomare with a beautiful view of Capri. Our host, Lorenzo, was super friendly and made us feel quite at home. He spoke English with a beautiful Italian accent and was more than gracious answering our questions and offering recommendations. The location of Mareluna Suites is walking distance to Chiaia, Castle Dell'Ovo, Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace and Via Toledo shopping, not to mention the many restaurants directly along the Lungomare. Grazie Mille Lorenzo, it was a pleasure to meet you and have you make our breakfast cappuccinos.

Great location, right on the water, close to the port, Castel delOve , Castel Nuevo. Nice restaurant right in the building and many more right all along the street. Nice room with large window, with partial sea view, tall ceilings Comfortable, large bed Pleasant reception people Breakfast with a lot of variety, boiled eggs, different nuts, seeds, yogurts, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, croissants and other sweet pastry. Breakfast room has beautiful sea views ( in the pictures here) - even more beautiful in person.

Parking is not on premises. It is several feet away in a tight garage space. Call or text hotel for instructions for the parking garage( it’s a little convoluted). Space is a prime real estate there. It’s 20-25 euro a night.

This is a great stop over if headed to the coast it’s a local town the food at Antonio Antonio was superb we fed a family of 6 for $100 euro and the food was excellent on the morning we walked the streets with all the shops it was cheap and fun. This hotel is a small boutique right on the sea it’s really cute and they go above and beyond to make your stay great, keep in mind the room is about $120 euro in the coast this room would be $500+ the value is beyond based on the price we had 6 in our group and booked 2 rooms for overnight it was well worth it this is a local town could be inadequate in areas but if you mind your business you’ll be fine the best cappuccino was $2 euros. it’s about and 1 hour drive to sorrento or 1:45 to Positano. We got in late and we’re tired and booked this last minute we went from out cheapest best meal to dining at quattro passé for $2000 the next night and both were very good.

Location and Kumar at reception was outstandingly nice and helpful. Nice breakfast with a view. Lots of restaurants on the Lungomare and nice atmosphere. Quiet and comfy.

Maybe a bit stuffy if not regularly aired. Windows are huge so maybe inconvenient to open them often?

Location is great, right on the promenade with a fab little view of the ocean and promenade. Staff are so lovely. Breakfast is a small little buffet with lots of juices, coffees, croissants, cereals, etc. Easy to find and accessible. Air conditioning working perfect, lots of small tokens such as toothpaste, shampoos etc. We felt really safe and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

Right at the sea side, very special apartment building, stylish, breakfast is nice and hosting is friendly:) I felt very welcome. Rooms are newly renovated, I had a great sea view!

Friendly and helpful staff, both during the day and at night. Quiet room with very comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing view from the breakfast table looking across the bay to Capri.

Carlos greeted us and took care of us the moment we stepped foot through the door. He made sure nothing was missing from our stay!

Everything was great about my stay. I think for other guests with a different itinerary than mine would appreciate a later check out (currently 10am if I understood correctly). I was totally fine with this though.

The location is perfect, right across a pedestrian road from the water. Easy walking distance to many open air restaurants. 6 rooms and very quiet. The staff is helpful and friendly, Grazie mille Ana e Carlo!

The a/c fan only goes on low. I would have preferred better air flow, but it was ok for sleeping.
