All the people was very friendly and the property beautiful maintained

Maybe the signaling all signs to get there needs to be improved and also the road to it. Also, the breakfast way to introduce it is not on synch with the high quality of all the others elements that are exceptional. For example the server, who es Avery nice and attentive all the time, brought us water in glasses instead of a bottle , that looked the hotel was saving money to me which I am sure it was not. Also, the bread need to be better quality and show more variety. Maybe a buffet style could be more impressive.

The staff were extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable. The communication via WhatsApp was a great idea and was responded to immediately by the hotel who could not have been any more helpful even if it was just advice on where the supermarket is. Villa was clean and cleaners came at a time to suit you which was communicated via WhatsApp making planning your day easier. Facilities at the villa were superb, sun loungers, table and chairs and sofa area for sunbathing meant you were spoilt for choice on where to soak in the sun. There was a buggy service which you could utilise to get around the resort, although this only made up of 24 villas so it isn't too big to get around so we didn't utilise this. Private pool was large enough to actually swim in so not just a plunge pool and the view of the sea was partially obscured but still nice. The aircon system was really good, we stayed in the Honeymoon villa which had split floors and both floors had aircon which kept the room really cool. The bed was also a huge plus point as this was huge and really comfortable. Breakfast had enough options for everyone and was healthy inspired. Overall, a really lovely hotel to have stayed at.

Attention to detail was slightly lacking in the decor, where you would expect perfection from a 5 star hotel at that price. Some of the flooring paint on the outside areas was a bit messy and had gone over the lines onto the white walls. Just needed that tiny extra touch but I am being picky and this wasn't really a negative. View of the sea was obscured slightly due to the location of the hotel and perhaps not for all of the rooms had this, the island is very hilly so I can imagine this is very difficult to be the same for everyone. Savoury pancakes with mushrooms were a bit odd tasting.

Breakfast was excellent - the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! The room was clean and well-kept. The location and privacy of the villa and pool were also great.

The bed in our room was on the second floor, and there was no AC for the bedroom, so it got hot at night. Additionally, we booked excursions through the resort but were not told to take cash with us, so we could not pay or pay via AMEX. This meant we had to take cash out and settle the payment afterwards, which was a bit stressful.

The place was scenic however the surrounding areas were run down and appeared to be some construction near by. Staff were available on WhatsApp with quick responses at all hours.

The location was a little far from Fira and Oia. The hotel ran shuttles however hey were expensive. We rented a quad bike to get around which made commuting much easier. The room we stayed in was a honeymoon villa so expected it to be perfect, however the door to the shower had no external handle which meant we had to lever it open from the top.

The villa was breathtaking with such high ceiling and posh decor the space it gave us inside and out was fantastic and the views from the deck meant we sat and watched the sunrise across the ocean every morning

Recommend buying a citronella as bugs in the evening but easily dealt with

The villas were very comfortable, the location was very peaceful and private, the food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely go again.

There were no cooking facilities in the one villa but this didn’t matter too much as there was a hob in the other villa we had

Had a great experience and was well looked after by the staff, too many to mention! From Michael in reception, George in the restaurant, Bimba and Sundaes in the SPA to Vasillis and Argiris driving us around, massive thank you to everyone!

Small gripe, thought that the breakfast menu was far too rigid, would have preferred an option to have elements of the menu rather than specific dishes. Also thought that having to pay for an espresso from the bar rather than have the filter was a shame. Also, sort the music out guys and read the room, often too loud in the morning and not very good! However, must stress that the quality of the food, as with the whole island, was excellent and sometimes exceptional.

Restaurant was only a small walk away from villa for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The local town with stunning sunset views was just a 7 minute drive away. Nice and clean. Everyone was efficient and friendly. George was very welcoming and helped with our plans to get to the nearest beach, a very hard working man and deserves to be recognised for all that he does. No matter what time we went to the restaurant at the property, George was always working!

Just the steep hill to the room, if there wasn’t a caddy available I dreaded the walk up the hill after walking around the town for hours beforehand.

The room was quite large and the outside area was the very best we’ve had anywhere. The facilities in the resort were very good. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the service was good.

That it was completely cut off and car hire was essential. The meal prices in the resort were extortionate making it essential to go out in the car and find somewhere to eat. There were no drawers or adequate alternatives for storing non-hanging clothes and only one bedside cabinet for a king size bed. The fact this “quiet” resort was on the flight path into the airport which had not been disclosed to us at any time.

The breakfast was really good. Not buffet style, you have coffee, orange juice and some breads to begin, and then choose one item from the menu. Throughout the week I tried the avocado toast, eggs Benedict and the granola. All were beautifully presented, super tasty and for me the real bonus was the gluten free toast on those options. In fact there was a plentiful selection of gluten free items in addition to fruit platters and pancakes with Nutella for example. We didn't use the gym but it was well equipped, and the gym instructor was giving classes outside too. The pool area has a superb range of seating. Lounge beds, tables and chairs and cabanas. There is also a swim up pool. The villas are stunning! We had a one bed villa, which incorporated a small kitchen area, small tv sitting area, huge comfortable bed. Separate toilet, sink area and walk in (huge) shower, which was powerful. We also had an upstairs area, a sofa looking out though french doors onto a balcony with seaview. The bed is made each day, the linen changed and fresh towels when needed. The villa is freshened each morning. You have your own pool (which in mid May is absolutely freezing! - but my other half used it for a 10 minute cryo-dip every morning and loved it!)plenty of seating and some lounge beds. They also provide pool side towels. The staff are all so polite and helpful. Everyone says good morning, enjoy your day, how can I help, what do you need to make things better! The resort is spectacularly clean. The spa is luxury at its finest. Michaela gave me a short massage as I was suffering with my lower back - she is a amazing qualified chiropractor and I instantly felt better than I had in days. The sauna and jacuzzi room I used was beautiful - again, so clean. There is a hairdresser there too, although I didn't use this facility. They have a driver who can take you anywhere on the island.

There wasn't anything to dislike, just some things that are worth noting before you go. Everything is extra. Driver to the town, spa treatments, delivery of food to your room is €10, even bottles of water are chargeable, because the water is not potable. I hasten to add though, this is a 5-star resort and also Santorini generally is an expensive place to holiday. The nearest beach is not easily walkable as per the details of the hotel, and although we didn't visit it, we were told it's not great. The nearest great beach is approx €70 round trip by taxi and then €50 bed hire. We stayed at our pool!
