Great location/peacefulness combination for our honeymoon! While we were steps from the Oía City frontline we had a great view of the north end of the Island isolated from the people, it was a perfect place for sunrise and sunset. Janis and Paz gave us recommendations for food and itinerary and ALL were great. The room is big, comfortable and super clean. I liked the possibility to choose between a lot of breakfast options. Thanks!

Private Parking is paid at 20EUR a day. This unfortunately was said only were we arrived, even though after booking they approach with all details. I would consider this could be told at least couple of days before arriving, as well as any optional/additional hotel service. The rest was perfect!

Yiannis and Paz were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much, they provided prompt responses to queries and assisted us immediately when we had an issue with a transport transfer. The accomodation faces the opposite side to the caldera/volcano, which is a blessing in disguise! The suites get their own private sunset away from the massive crowds, there is a gentle breeze which is a perfect reprieve from the hot mediterranean sun (& its boiling facing the caldera where there is no breeze) its quiet/peaceful/relaxing and has far greater privacy than the hotels on the caldera/volcano sides. The jacuzzi is perfect to cool down in after a hot day exploring the island. The bed was very comfortable and we slept perfectly! Location is great, a very short walk into central Oia. Breakfast is provided at a time that is requested, is tasty & fresh, it is provided by a local cafe. Yiannis was very lovely and to celebrate our honeymoon gifted us a bottle of wine that we shared. The outdoor umbrella for our suite was yet to arrive (some suites have them), but this is not really an issue as the sun moves and shadows are cast from the building from early afternoon. There is a short moderately steep walk to get into town, and the stairs to the bedroom were very steep! Not an issue for us, but for those with mobility issues this is something to know.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly! They made sure our stay in Santorini was perfect. Highly recommend exploring outside of Oia. For example, the ancient ruins of Akrotiri.

Everything Aplada Suites exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful place to stay. Yannis is so friendly, and helpful, he couldn't do enough for us. We loved the location it was a short walk to the main area of Oia, yet a world away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The apartment is spotless, rooms spacious, beds comfortable and the shower is great. A delicious plentiful beakfast is delivered each morning which we ate on the upstairs balcony. The spa pool is a very welcome addition. Its a short walk from the main road, Yannis will happily pick you up in his little electric buggy and drop off at your door, if you ask him. Highly recommend Aplada.

The location is perfect! It is just outside the main streets of Oia. Everything is within a 10-15 minute walk. The best part is that it is quiet and secluded to allow for rest and balance. The room was wonderful. The showers were warm with great pressure and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was a selection you could make from several options. We had yogurt, fruit, coffee, and an omelette delivered to us at the time we desired.

The location of Aplada Suites is wonderful. You are a short walk to the action but slightly off the main drag, enough to feel like you are in a private oasis. The views are stunning and it's somewhat cooler than the main strip of Oia. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, taking time to give us details on the best places to visit and great restaurants, including a reservation at the best sunset restaurant, complete with the best table in the house. A great experience overall.

Excellent location. Quiet and peaceful, but still very close to the centre. Friendly host who gives useful tips wrt places to visit and eat. Thanks to his advise we visited some places/restaurants we would otherwise not find ourselves. Studios are clean and cleaning lady passes by every day. Studios are well equipped (fridge, water cooker, airconditioning, good shower, all towels and products available, free wifi, television which you can connect to your phone).

Not many things that could be better. We were in one of the semi-cellar studios so we didn't have a view from the room itself or a badtub/jacuzi but those rooms go at a higher price. A sunbed on the terrace would still be handy to relax a bit later in the afternoon. The airconditioning worked well, but also made some noise. A plus would also be a little bar to drink a coffee or take a little breakfast with croissants and scrambled eggs, but those things are not essential :). Overall a nice place to stay.

Yiannis was extremely helpful, kind and responsive. There is a lovely view of the Sea from the villas and the property is just a short hike to shopping and dining in Oia village. Housekeeping was done regularly.

There was a drain in the bathroom, under the trash can, that flooded over whenever we took showers. Initially, we thought the water on the floor was from the toilet, but it actually came from this drain beneath the trash. We ended up just taking quick showers to minimize the amount of water accumulating on the floor from the drain. It wasn’t really a big deal and this is the only reason I rated it a 9 instead of a 10. I would still go back if I’m ever in Oia again.

Whilst the location was a bit off street from the main tourist strip, we actually really liked that. It meant it was peaceful and I felt like we had a breather from the tourist throngs of Oia. The property also was kind enough to provide us with a hot tub which was very soothing after very hot days of sightseeing. It was very clean and the facilities were maintained well. The hotel staff was funny and engaging, always there to help

The A/C was a bit temperamental and did not seem to cool the property enough on very hot days (it’s important to note that this is a basement suite, so ideally the A/C can be kept on while we walk out for lunch etc, although it turned off every time). The second bed is not a pull out bed, it is a sofa couch in the living room so that is important if you have guests or have more people staying in the suite - it’s not a full bed.

Great views of the sea, easy access to main resort centre only about 200m up to main road, but out of it enough to be able to enjoy peace and quiet. Exceptionally clean suites. Plunge pool was perfect for cooling off. Friendly and helpful staff Yiannis gave good local advise and the cleaner worked hard.

Would benefit from sharper knives for bread/fruit in kitchen. TV didn’t work which didn’t bother us but might some people.
