I loved how the host allowed us to check-in early without paying anything extra. We were just there to leave our bags, but he let us into the room. We also checked out an hour late and left our bags. For the price you pay, the room is great and cozy. The property is beautiful and the area is peaceful.

The washroom was small and somewhat dirty. But, not the kind of dirty that you cannot stand. It was just old, I assume. Also honestly, for the price you pay it seemed okay.

Very close to the beach promenade (about 600meters), super markets, tavernas, 24 hour bakery, bars etc at a 5 minute walk . Katerina gave us beach towels and free toiletries. John was also really helpful, both of them really polite.

Bathroom had a few things that need renewing like taps etc.

Clean and quiet place, within 10 minutes walking of the beach. Lots of local shops and restaurants Host was very friendly and helpful

There's no shower curtain, so when you wash , there's water everywhere in the bathroom

Kitchen area good and you could make coffee and prepare breakfast.

Bathroom needs maintenance. Water persistantly leaked from pipe under sink. Shower area very small and no shower curtain.

The hotel is an amazing find in Perissa. John is incredibly sweet and kind, he takes care of you as if you are family. Comfortable beds, great A/C and wifi. Swimming pool and microwave plus dishes was an added plus. Great value for money. The negative reviews here are of disillusioned people because what do they expect for $20-30 per night?! If you want luxury, go pay $500 a night but if you would rather spend your money on food and entertainment, stay at John's, be happy and enjoy!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

It was a pretty big room and very comfortable. The pool was fun and the property had a very good location. It was right outside the bus stop and a short 5-10 min walk to Perissa beach

The tap and shower water was quite salty which I don’t think is a fault of this property as it is apparently salty all over the island.

Wonderful stay, very welcoming people, value for money, just on the central road, circa 5 minutes from the black sandy beach! The room was specious and very clean. All in all I definitely recommend it! Thank you so much Katerina and John. You are amazing!!!

The hosts were very nice and a late check-in was possible. After check-out, there was also the possibility of letting the bags at the reception, which was very convenient. Perissa is a nice location and there is a bus stop nearby which can take you to Fira.

The location was simply perfect... If the weather was warmer, it would have been possible to have a dive into the swimming pool. John is exceptionally a gentle man, he picked us up from the airport when we landed at midnight and showed us everything useful for our journey nearby the hotel. If I should suggest a cheap hotel in Santorini, far from the crowed tourism and founded on the traditional manners and habits of the primal Santorini, it would choose Katerina and John's Hotel!

Our room was very well-organised, but the bathroom wasn't so, though. There was a specified smell of curry which was soaking the sink and something the toilet flush didn't work.

The cost of the room was excellent value, for a room with private facilities I doubt you can get cheaper on the island. Clean comfortable and serviced every other day. Good Internet connection.
