The location of the hotel is very convenient and close to the subway.Even though the building is a little old,it's very clean and comfortable. Customer serice is also excellent,staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great experience and would gladly stay here again.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, not the best English but did their best and were eager to help. We got a free upgrade with a great city view and the beds were particularly comfortable. Large western style separated wet/dry bathroom and good location near metro station and trendy areas in the district. Nice breakfast buffet included too.

Great hotel with all usual amenities (shower gel, shampoo, razor, shower cap, tooth brush etc). Free water bottles and a fridge/ safe. The hotel also offers breakfast buffet (6.30-9.30). The breakfast is tailored to Chinese tourists so you can experience the full savory options from sweet potato porridge to pork dumplings ;) or you go with the Western options: toast, marmalade, peanut butter etc. american coffee and (!) excellent espresso from a coffee machine with grinder. The hotel also offered chinese literature (Buddhism) in English, Spanish and Japanese. It had a nice touch into the local sphere.

The reviews were really bad, but we found the hotel perfectly pleasant. It is true that it comes from a more grand time where people preferred big hotels, paintings on the walls and carpet floors, but it is not musky, dusty or unclean. On the contrary.

Good hotel, good area...many small shops, many restaurants...convenient transportation near, MRT plus light rail system that circles the city.

Nice spot for our short stay to explore the city. Close to Pier-2 art center and Liuhe night market. Easy check-in and friendly staff.

The clothes washing machine on the roof is free but the area it is in wasn’t very clean. We decided not to do laundry there.

It's apparently normal in Taiwan, but check in from 3pm and check out at 11am is inconvenient compared to the international standard.

The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful. The staff serving buffet breakfast are polite and the buffet is not really tasty but healthy. There is a convenience storel across the road from the hotel. The room is very clean and spacious.

There are not many stalls or shops selling food nearby.

Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, comfortable room. Excellent location. Very good value for money. I would stay here again.
