Perfect for our logistical circumstances. The hotel is spotlessly clean prepared beyond our expectations. Liam met us on arrival and arranged everything we required, including dining room and bar support. The waiting staff were attentive and knowledgable on the menu and directed us to ensure we had the best to suit our preferences. Parking was better than anyone could hope for and the time from leaving our car to entering our room could easily be measured in seconds and not minutes. The overall ambience of the hotel was way above any expectations and we will certainly return and recommend it to everyone in our sphere of influence. Breakfast was again superb. The owner, Gareth, took our order and ensured we had everything we asked for and more besides. This hotel is one of those secret locations you seek out and rarely find. 10/10.
I honestly cannot think of a negative at all.

The hotel is easy to find, staff were very friendly, room was really good size and clean and had a welcoming feel. Free onsite parking. Little touches in the room like local bottled water and Scottish biscuits. I loved how welcome they made my little dog. Breakfast was included, but I didn't have it as I was out before it was served and back after it was finished. But it was a fantastic price even without the food. There was lots of lovely places within walking distance to visit, but I used it as a bit of a base to go further a field. I would definitely book it again. Thank you for having us.
My only complaint would be the key ring on the room key! It was huge, I mean, you can't lose it, so I get why they have used it, but from a practical point where to put it? It luckily just fit in my pocket and no more. Nothing else what so ever was wrong with my stay, and I feel silly for mentioning the keyring, but if no one says you'll never know.

We were a bit stuck trying to find accommodation in Inverness that wasn't astronomically priced due to an event. Found Cairn Lodge that didn't require us to have a mortgage for an overnight stay and it was a good find. Really friendly staff and lovely food. We had some dinner and the breakfast and it was definitely all freshly cooked and very good indeed. We had a budget twin room and it was clean, warm, comfy beds and certainly worth it for what we paid. Tea, coffee, water, caramel logs and TV. We had a separate private bathroom for the room, just across the hall, and I was delighted to discover some lovely fluffy bathrobes in the wardrobes for the hop across the hall which I thought was a great touch. Great value, good food lovely area and very friendly.

Best of the best of your traditional down-to-earth no frills hospitality. Love the wee room, exceptional location, super friendly staff, excellent local food at the bar and generous delicious breakfast on a quiet morning. The bed is comfy and the room has everything one might need for a stay. This was my second stay and I will be back again. Highly recommend.
The property is not new, so there are some things that come with age of the building, like squeaky floors and door, some mouldy bits in the bathroom, but this is all so minor and even adds to the charm of the place.

This traditional hotel in Carrbridge is a little difficult to describe. While we enjoyed our stay and we were comfortable here, there were some things we didn't like. The food was really good and breakfast service was good. We had dinner in the bar next to the crackling fireplace one night. Beds were comfortable and clean, with lovely wool covers.
Overall the place feels worn and could use a refresh. The bathroom was fine but the furniture, flooring, and common areas felt old and tired. There were little things like a broken doorknob and gouges in the walls that made it feel less nice. There's a pervasive smell of wood smoke and food throughout. Our clothes, coats, and even pajamas smelled like a camp cabin after two nights here. The place is lower priced than most in the area. It's not bad but I don't think we'd stay there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious with a good selection. The meals were very tasty if a bit on the pricey side. The hotel is nicely situated with a few shops close by and within walking distance to the train station. Surrounded by woods and walking paths.
The bathroom could have been cleaner, old cobwebs at the window and the shower was a bit grubby around the sealant. The shower door didn't stay closed properly and the fan didn't work.

Booked Cairn at last minute as I had to drop off urgently required spare parts on Saturday to north of Inverness and was not able to drive all the way back south . Welcome was prompt and very friendly . I could not have been made more welcome . I requested a quiet room , and my request was granted . I said I would be leaving before the 07.00 breakfast and I was offered breakfast to be left out for me or would I like a packed lunch instead . Never been offered such good service anywhere in any country.

The hotel is a cute little pub accommodation. The room while being basic was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The pub was great. It was busy with friendly helpful staff. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast was cooked to order and very good.
The bathroom needed an update but was clean and roomy. It was a little noisy at night from pub patrons outside but that's to be expected when you book this type of accommodation and it didn't prevent us sleeping.

Carrbridge is a good place as it is central to all aspects of the highlands for me. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice. all the staff are friendly and helpful. The locals are friendly and welcoming.
The room (Ryvuoan) was a little on the small size. The mirror for shaving is way too low. The motorcycle park was not cleared as was instructed when booking room.

Everything was exceptionally good. The hotel has such a good atmosphere, a very traditional hospitality, comfy and clean room. The food at the pub is very good, locally sourced and made fresh to order, and a fab selection of beverages. A very nice atmosphere at the pub, with crackling fire and a nice chat with folk. The breakfast is generous and hearty, will definitely keep you going for a full day of adventures. The room is cozy and just the right temperature, the bed is comfy and the shower is warm. I absolutely loved staying there, and would be back for sure.
Nothing really. There were some small details (like a tv remote needed a good wipe), and a bit more information about the room on booking.com, but this is nothing compared to the wonderful stay I had.
