The breakfast was very good. I was glad it was included. The car service to the marina was excellent and our driver was friendly and nice. All the staff were great. The room was clean. I was impressed with the private bath and the HVAC. Very quiet room on an upper floor.

I would suggest having outlets more easily accessible to the bed. The outlets were behind the bed and impossible to reach. Also, there wasn’t an elevator. Hubby is 81. 2 flights of narrow stairs was a lot. But our room was very quiet so that was nice.

Our recent stay at the Jared Coffin House was nothing short of delightful. The offer of transportation to the beach and to the ferry for our return trip. I was unaware we could avail ourselves of this service on our arrival. Probably my mistake.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable, the bathroom sink area is lacking for women needing a place to put their toiletries, and with the amount of electronics needed to be plugged in by three people, a lack of plugs.

This was the first time that the wife and I were able to stay at this hotel, the staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly. It was a pleasure to talk to everybody on the grounds. The amenities are great and the concierge service is excellent. We were able to have beach chairs, towels and access to bikes whenever we needed. Is located centrally near restaurants, museum, and the bus line it was very easy to get wherever we needed to go. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the bathroom had amazing water temperature and pressure which is always a plus for me. Is also, having a restaurant right there on the grounds was an added bonus, service and food there were delicious with an outdoor seating area and an indoor seating area plenty of options. I really can't Express how great this place, the staff and location are, you won't be disappointed staying here.

Jared Coffin House has the perfect location for exploring downtown Nantucket! Plenty of dining options just seconds away and walking distance to Brant point lighthouse and jetties beach. We also loved our bed (soo comfortable) and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and hospitable and so willing to meet our requests. Some of the amenities like free transport within a mile and cookies/treats in the afternoon were a nice touch!

For the price, we think the room could have been in better condition. It needed fresh paint on the walls, blackout curtains facing the street (the rods were there but the curtains were missing) and the base board heater had exposed cables. For reference we stayed in room 122, a family suite.

The staff was wonderful. Informative about transportation, activities. Every question answered and any concerns or requests fulfilled. Perfect location to shops, restaurants, harbor, beaches, etc

On Booking.com it said one more at this price available. I reserved and it said Queensize bed. For $1800!! I had a twin bed, not comfortable! Told that was the room I reserved. Next time I will book directly through hotel as I did love everything except the tiny bed.

First of all, Antoinique on staff is absolutely fabulous, she was a wonderful concierge during our stay. She was always warm, helpful and kind. In fact the whole team was delightful and approachable. We loved the free breakfast buffet in the lobby. A nice variety of foods were available. The location was one of the best in town near the Whaling Museum, the bookstore, shops and restaurants. They had bikes, that four of us took out one afternoon and had an enjoyable ride. My father had a record player in his room, adorable! They celebrated my daughter's graduation with wine and towel art. Antoinique helped us book a van tour as well and got us reservations at Brotherhood of Thieves. It was very sad that we had to leave. Her colleagues got us a ride back to the ferry as we had luggage. The Tap Room Restaurant had delicious and reasonably priced options for dinner.

Every stay has minor inconveniences. One night we heard a neighbor blasting Judy Collins songs at 4 in the morning, but they stopped after we tapped on the door. Bikes can get flats. It's travel and these things come with the territory.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. There was a pantry and waters available 24/7 in a small room off the entrance. The room was spacious and had a sitting area that was pretty comfortable.

I was disappointed in the shower that the conditioner dispenser was a little "gunky" which indicated less than thorough cleaning in the shower. I also was disappointed that there wasn't some of the amenities I would expect such as lotion. Not having little things like that shows a lack of attention to detail which is not what I expected from the Jared Coffin House.

It has been nearly twenty years since my last stay, and I am glad to see that the JC House has maintained the same high quality that I remember. Sasha was especially helpful in coordinating and scheduling our activities on the island during our stay. Centrally located and delicious breakfasts made our stay quite enjoyable.

I could have used a writing desk in the room for my postcard writing.

The location is perfect and the inn is charmingly old-fashioned. The staff were very welcoming and helpful— and the bellman bakes the delicious croissants and muffins provided at breakfast! The shower water is hot and the towels are wonderful.

The bed was too soft for my liking. Noise from an air handling unit on the restaurant roof below bothered my wife the first night, but the staff happily moved us to a larger room on the other side of the building.
