Love the Hotel & Love the Location. Staff, employees are all wonderful- very kind, caring & dedicated to as guest 100% & 100% dedicated to the guest’s experience. Wonderful amenties. Great restaurant on premise, along with pool bar and pool service. James - is an awesome Reservation Manager and always does his very best to assist with my stay / reservations. Owner of this hotel is very kind, and very personable which is refreshing.

Wish price point per night be a little less for the stay, especially given I am usually a solo traveler & if traveling with friends, we like to have our own room as adult women. Otherwise- i have nothing negative to stay about this property.

Fabulous location. Nice building a super helpful concierge and staff. The vibe on the veranda, with drinks flowing from the Club Room at the end of the day is lovely. The "heated" pool is nice (if boring). They make it easy to find your way around, and the staff made our stay there very nice. The restaurant is pretty good (OMG the truffle breakfast sandwich), but also has big misses (clumpy pasta? these are the basics, folks...), and is eye-wateringly expensive.

Holy cow it's expensive for what you get. Don't get me wrong, it's a lovely place, but you're really paying for the view, the prestige (all the locals will tell you it's the nicest hotel on the island), and the perfect location in MV/Edgartown. For example, our single room at HVH, for the price of a modest beach house rental on LBI, was a bit... junky. The bathroom lock, one of the two device charging stations, and the hallway water dispenser were all broken. And weird things like the hangers were too large so everything in the closet had to sit at an angle; the pitiful shower spray was like a baby's sneeze. The room is pretty spartan and is basically charmless. We get MV is about going out, but for the money, we were expecting at least a few dazzles or charming surprises.

The breakfast options were more than adequate to meet anyone's preference and /or dietary needs. The staff was exceptional in their greeting, conversation and attention to detail. Ivan from Montenegro and Keely from Stowe, Vermont were kind, professional and engaging. Dinner staff the same as well as pool staff. The podium staff recognized us after the first day, calling us by name, each time we entered the dining room. July 4 was exceptional!

Our only concern was the lack of staff at the pool on July 5. Once the rain stopped and guests came to the pool area, there was no one to set up chairs, provide towels... we did our own.

This is a stunning property. The views are incredible. The staff is wonderful. The rooms are beautiful and clean and well set up.

We liked everything about this property. The one thing that could’ve been a bit better was the wait staff was working incredibly hard and they could’ve used one or two more staff members. However, we were there the last weekend of the season so that might not be their fault. There might not have been anybody else to hire.

Super friendly and polite! In restaurant “Bettini”food was fantastic!! But bartender Hunter who we hang out after dinner… was unbelievably friendly, professional, believe me he is the Hotel’s gem… you are lucky to have such an employee!! Thanks Hunter for your kindness!!!

Harbor View validates the saying “you get what you pay for.” Here you pay well and play well. They have golf carts to drop you off and pick up anywhere in Edgartown. They pretty much take care of everything. Great concierge services. Started original stay in a cottage suite. Plenty spacious and very accommodating but no view to speak of. Extended our stay and was move to a king with Harbor View. Less room but spectacular view of the harbor. Will choose this option from the start next year.

Thought on-site dining could have been better but better dining venues are near by.

The hotel it self was stunning, quintessential coastal vibes. The staff were very attentive.

Not necessarily a negative but I travelled during the off season so some of the hotel facilities/dinning were limited to a certain day/days. Again not a negative in my book, just meant to be informative to travelers.

Beautiful property and plenty of character and charm

The disconnect with the bar staff not bring able to serve drinks outside on the outdoor porch , citing not having a liquor license?! The staff did not keep the porch free of empty glasses and trash.

Beautiful hotel, immaculate grounds, fabulous pool area and bar and restaurant were very good. Also have golf carts offering free trips into Edgartown which meant I wasn’t late for the wedding after all! Every staff member I came across was very polite and very kind.

It really was very lovely. I found nothing not to like!

Great location and friendly staff. Expected a harbour view room, but faced the back of the hotel.

Construction around the pool made it unusable. It felt like the hotel was getting ready for the busy season. The price was high for the shoulder season.
