The room was spacious. Had 2 small balconies. Really quiet. Bed was really comfortable and the bed linen was so soft. Bathroom a good size with the toiletries too. Which meant we didn't have to carry all our toiletries over in our backpack. Location great for everything. Recommendations from Alison perfect. Lovely light breakfast. Fruit, pasties, yoghurts, granola (which was amazing) muffins, drinks

No water in the room and we were on the top floor. Steep stairs so chose not to carry the bottle provided all the way down to the ground floor to fill it up. As we had had a super long day travelling

The hotel was beautiful and pleasant. Michaela was AWESOME!! She was so friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfasts were wonderful and the 2:00p freshy baked cookies were an absolute nice touch and a delight! The location is ideal and provided great ease to shops, restaurants, etc.; it made the stay very lovely. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others. Actually, I already have! :-)

Honesty, there wasn't anything I didn't like. I was surprised, however, that room keys are still issued!

The complimentary breakfast was perfect and plentiful! The location was right in the middle of Edgartown, next to a bike rental shop, all the great shopping and restaurants, and close to the beach. AND they serve warm, salted chocolate chip cookies for the most delicious afternoon snack!

The bathroom could use more shelving for toiletry storage.

The Christopher was a great stay in a perfect location. The stay was super quiet and the breakfast in the morning was a wonderful touch. Towels and bathrobes were refreshed everyday, which was amazing! They supply you with beach chairs too! They are super accommodating when it comes to leaving your luggage before checking in and after check out which made our stay even better!

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the smell in the room, which I think came from the AC unit? The AC unit was leaking and making it smell a bit musty. Also, the comforter was only covered with two separate flat sheets; would've thought it would have been better quality bedding for the price.

The Christopher is on the Register of Historic Places. It’s a gorgeous old house with a beautifully renovated interior and comfortable rooms (very comfy beds!). When we arrived at 4 pm there were homemade cookies, lemonade, coffee, and tea waiting for us in the lobby. Breakfast was a buffet that varied. On one day it was hard boiled eggs, bacon cooked in hot honey, zucchini bread, croissants, coconut chia pudding, vanilla yogurt, sliced oranges, smoothies, orange juice, coffee, and tea. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I’d be back again in a heartbeat!!

The location was fabulous - close to the shops and restaurants but very quiet. Edgartown is definitely the nicest place to stay on the island. We had a beautiful king room with a cute balcony which was perfect for wineoclock. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast spread was ok - fresh muffins every morning plus fruit and chia/oatmeal options. No warm egg dishes on offer though and it would have been nice to have been offered bread.

The coffee, like almost everywhere in US hotels, is filter coffee which is not great but it is available all day if that’s your thing. The wifi could be better, but we were on holiday so not a big deal.

This place is just the best!! The location couldn’t be better - steps off the middle of Main Street. The breakfast was to die for - a healthy mix of baked goods and fruit. And freshly baked chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. But the staff! They were so lovely. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks so much Ellen and team! 💕

I loved the proximity of the property to the town and all the activities! I also loved how beautiful and welcoming the host were! The breakfast was delicious as well! It was like a dream ❤️

This was a wonderful property with with beautiful decor. The bedding was luxurious and so comfortable and the breakfast selection was great. The staff were so friendly and helped to make sure we had the best time
