The bed is king size, spacious for us. The bathroom was clean and the water heater is functioning well. But when turn on the water pressure too high, it makes the water less heated. Have to adjust accordingly. There are also cooking utensils prepared in the kitchen for atleast basic cooking. I even cooked sotong goreng tepung and gulai ketam during the stay. The kitchen was an open space.

At least prepare some floor mat at the sink area of the kitchen so that when water get splash from the tap, the floor would not be wet and slippery.

Family friendly, local host, strategic location, beautiful views, adorable cats and dog, water heater, parking, strong wifi connection!!

Room 5 (2 queen bed) -no aircon just air cooler, kinda hot during noon Room 9 (1 Queen bed, 2 single bed) - near their septic tank, smelly. This room is at the basement so u can hear footsteps during the night, can't sleep peacefully. Loud insects noises The road the the homestay is 1 way and kinda hard if you drive a big car. If 3/4 car parked outside the homestay, its kinda hard to get out.

We like the Interior and garden style homestay. Also the friendly customer sevice from start until checked out. Futhermore, we love the view of mount Kinabalu so much in the morning especially. Tq so much for the convenience and warm welcom from you. Hopefully we can stay there for our next holiday Or business trip. Tq so much!!!

It is Best if All the room are soundproof but its ok. U can improved it. Also, if u can give shelter for the dog it Will be very nice too. Thats all Tq so much!

This is a gem. Initially we were hesitated to book this place because we did not know if there is a view of Mount KK from the premises, and was like staying at Kundasang makes more sense. However, we booked as I truly like what I saw on the website. And, it exceeded our expectations!! The place has a good view of Mount KK, is very spacious with many places you can sit and relax, very very clean and well maintained. The room and toilet is basic but very clean and comfortable enough. No broken tiles, moldy corner or peeled paint etc. Can run in the morning at the road outside too, although it is very short like 1km only to the end and back. This homestay is definitely goooood value for money.

Best homestay around Mount Kinabalu. The view on Mount Kinabalu is spectacular. We booked for two nights, ended up staying three and we would had stayed longer if it wasn't fully booked. Room was very big and spacious. There was a whole communal kitchen that we could use. Free cold and hot water, you can buy some food from the property such as noodles, eggs, etc. The garden is really well maintened. Owner very friendly.

Great location. Easily accessible by car with parking spaces. Can view Mount Kinabalu in the morning from the homestay compound :). Stunning view. There are several types of rooms available. Choose the right one for you. We preferred rooms with attached bathroom. The are also, 2 common kitchens available with water filter so plan well if you wish to cook there. Host friendly and helpful.

My kids like the table-tennis and the "wooden piano". The person in charge is very friendly and we had an opportunity to know new friends especially some families from Brunei. My daughter and Son also experienced their 1st ATV ride. Worth trying. Early morning if it is not so cloudy You will definitely see the Peak of Mount Kinabalu. Cooking facilities also provided

The location is a bit far from Town hence you really need a good GPS system. The rooms are not soundproof so if you are lucky you might hear people snoring but it is just similar to hostel lifestyle. My kids has no complaint.

Small bathroom and experienced a few times power supply down for a while. But overall is a nice environment, good facilities such TV with Wifi, water dispenser, a clean room and a comfortable bed and pillow

The majestic view of Mount Kinabalu. The homestay has nice rooms, facilities and services. The host is really helpful and friendly.There are a few attractions nearby such as Arnab Village, Magical Garden, Tambiau Forest Hill, Kopi Apai and Cigar making at Kg Lipasu.

You need transport for easy movement. The homestay is about 15 minutes from Ranau Town and 25 minutes to Kundasang Town.

The scenery was awesome.

We dislike the idea of staying at the ground level of the house as it feels so isolated & quite far. If possible, we would like to stay at a room somewhere at the upper level for a better experience.
