Old buildings beware of different floor levels I witnessed two people falling over due to this

The hotel was in an amazing location right in the heart of town. The room was clean and facilities in the room was good.

There was no menu at breakfast and it was only on the last day we saw another customer have some scrambled eggs that we knew this was an option. My main problem was that we did not get the room we booked. We had booked a three bed apartment for my family of four (kids are boys 17 and 20 so need their own room each). But when we got there although the main room we were provided felt larger than we had booked, the apartment was only two bedrooms and they provided a separate room for the third bedroom. This is not what we had wanted as it split the family up. The hotel gave no explanation as to why they did this.

Our stay at this palatial apartment hotel was truly memorable. The recent upgrades, including a well-equipped kitchenette and a charming living space nestled in the attic above our two-bedroom suite, added a unique touch. The suite's courtyard view, coupled with a glimpse of the majestic Ljubljana Castle, was simply enchanting. What made our stay extra special was the hotel's proximity to a music conservatory. Throughout the day, we were treated to the delightful sounds of classical music, adding an unexpected layer of charm to our experience. Its prime location, just steps from the central pedestrian zone, made exploring the city's attractions and restaurants effortless. While the secure parking came at a premium, the staff's warm and helpful demeanor made us feel right at home.

The hotel met our expectations adequately. It is in an excellent location in the center of Ljubljana, very close to the city's attractions, and allowed us to move exclusively on foot. The building is very nicely decorated and the staff is very polite and helpful. It is definitely worth the money.

The breakfast could be improved as it did not have many options, but it was still very nice. Also, we stayed on the third floor and the elevator was only up to the second floor, which did not cause a problem for us, but would be a problem for people with mobility issues.

Very central location ,in the heart of the old town .First of all we loved the charm of the hotel and the very friendly welcome from the reception. We had a huge room and from the window we could see a bit the castle opposite! Big smart tv ,good WiFi and very warm room in 4 cold days we stayed. Bathroom was also big with hot water all the time. Breakfast was very good ( hotel wasn’t busy at that moment) with cold cuts,salmon ,cereal,yogurt etc. We did the perfect choice with booking our stay in Antiq Pallace !!!

The mattress wasn’t so comfortable

It was an incredible lovely stay in the Antiq Palace Hotel. Very friendly Staff , always ready for an extra mile and helpful with the Cityguide. Our Room was marvelous, bigger then expected provided with all what u could ask for it, Soft Cosy Bed, Big folding windows, fascinated old wooden floor. Breakfast was included and served with Love and a great service, Location of the Hotel is just few stops by Bus from the Central Station and few mins walk from the inner city. couldn't ask for more , def. highly recommended and will come back again if I visit Ljubljana with friends again.

We really enjoyed the central position of the structure, right in the middle of the city centre, the dimension of the room (large bedroom, hallway, 2 big bathrooms) and its elegant style. Breakfast was amazing (also location), it has so much to offer. Staff was cordial, they let us leave our luggage in the hotel for a few hours for free. Lovely balcon near the rooms with a view of the wonderful outside patio.

Maybe price a little tiny bit high although quality of the structure is also high. Plus taxes are impressively high! Which is not a problem of the structure but the city.

Our room was sensational, it was large, with dining/lounge room, small kitchen and spa bath. Staff apologized because they are renovating the walkway to our room/apartment, but it was no problem to us and there were no early morning workers to disturb us. The location was great walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. You should note that it is in an "no vehicle" area, so the taxi dropped us as close as possible, but we then had to walk with our luggage, it was about 3 streets away, for us, that was no problem. Breakfast was excellent.

We followed Google maps to walk to the property and found that it's not clearly marked, we almost walked past it. We did see others frustrated and unable to locate the property. Maybe a board out the front is all that's needed.

The place is antique, all right, but renovated, of course. The maze of corridors and staircases is charming once you find your way around. Breakfast was compact, not spectacular, but exquisitely presented, with fruit and cake laid out like jewels on the plate. Fresh coffee too--not just a machine with a button.

My room was rather like a train carriage, long and narrow and by the staircase--but I guess that's what I earned by booking a single. Nothing gluten free at breakfast--these days, most places offer at least crackers.

The location is excellent, the river front with all its restaurants and bars is just a few metres away. Despite this the room was very quiet with no road or other noise. A decent breakfast, superb staff.

Nothing, just be aware that the hotel is within a pedestrianised area so if arriving or leaving by taxi it's impossible to be dropped off or picked up at the door. Our drop off/pick up point was about a 3 minute walk from the hotel which wasn't a big deal for us but might be for some.
