February 2025
Loved the libra, was down on the 14th of February with my partner for 3 nights and we booked room 5 , which was fantastic with plenty of space and a very comfortable bed with a big bathroom and shower , shower had plenty of room to have a shower with lovely hot water . Breakfast was excellent , nothing at all to complain about with free parking as well. The larger room was worth the extra as it was an added on annex , room was slightly cooler than other parts of the hotel . But Chris wasn't long on coming to the door with a great heater , Chris and his lovely wife couldn't do enough for us and are the ideal hosts . So people ,don't pass this great wee hotel past . Give it a try as you won't be disappointed 👌

Chris and Anna, who own the Libra, are exceptionally great hosts. From the moment we arrived and I'm talking about the car parking space reserved for us that Chris came out to meet us even before we set foot in the Libra. The whole place is well cleaned, and our room was spotless, including the spacious Ensuite with nice fluffy towels and free toiletries. The king-size bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were great, too. A nice big TV with Internet access, so you can log on to your own Netflix account, etc. Breakfast is really great, from full English to cereal, toast, pastry, yoghurts, to fruit. Both Chris and Anna are wonderfully engaging with guests. Any requests or issues are dealt with immediately. The location is a short walk into Blackpool pleasure beach. I highly rate the Libra and look forward to returning some time
Traffic jams getting to the Libra. But that's my fault for booking during the air show weekend 😕

This is the second time I've stayed at The Libra. The first time was in a gorgeous twin room when it had different (equally brilliant and lovely) owners and this second time in a beautiful, spacious double room and the place was fab then and it's still fab now. The place was immaculately clean, the bedroom was extreme comfortable and well equipped and the owners made great efforts to ensure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I stayed for 2 nights and each morning, the full English breakfast was really good, in a fabulous dining area. Parking was simple - right next to the property, as in the picture. Around a 10-minute walk to the Tower etc where you can also easily get to the brilliant, frequent trams. I'd highly recommend The Libra.
There was nothing not to like.

The Libra is an absolutely beautiful B&B that cannot be faulted! Anna and Chris are amazing hosts who made us feel welcome as soon as we walked through the door, Nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed in room 7 (twin room) a spacious room with a large bathroom. The whole place was immaculately clean bed linen and fresh towels! The water pressure in the shower was brilliant - which in some b&bs I’ve stayed in this has been an issue but not at the Libra! Breakfast was amazing also, choice of cereals, pastries and toast to start then a hearty full English to follow! We stayed for the Northern Soul weekend so at breakfast Anna and Chris played soul music for us guests! Perfect walking distance to the tower and parking space are an extra bonus to this B&B! Can’t recommend it enough! Thank you for a great weekend stay. Next year Anna and Chris you must come out for a dance at the tower! Thank you for a 10/10 stay! xx

Anna and Chris were brilliant hosts and couldn't do enough for us. The full English breakfast was lovely, and you could have as much toast as you wanted. There was also fruit, cereal, yoghurt, and pastries. Our double room bed was really comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and even though it wasn't one of the larger double rooms it was very decent sized. Place was immaculate throughout. Parking was in their car park next door. Location is about 5 minutes from the tower and the north pier.
We were on the second floor with no lift so wished I was a bit younger. Will book the first floor for next visit

Exceptional stay – everything we needed! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay here. The owners were absolutely lovely. So friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. The room was spotless and beautifully maintained, with a great shower and all the essentials. We especially appreciated the secure off-street parking, which was ideal since we drove from London. Another big plus: the location! It was within walking distance to all the main attractions, so we were able to explore the area easily. Couldn’t have asked for more. we’d definitely stay here again!

We liked that it wasn't to far from the sea front and the bed was comfortable also the hosted were lovely.our room was small but still nice had tea, coffee and hairdryer plus shampoo and body wash ect over all we would stay here again.
The internet wasn't up and running yet due to the B&B having new owners that had only been there two weeks so was still getting things sorted.also the full English breakfast was ordered in from a cafe so we couldn't ask for what we wanted ie scrambled egg no tomato for fussy eaters this might make them not eat it ,plus it was late one morning due to a chef not being well. Also the area is a bit run down empty house,s and a lot of drunk people that you can hear late at night the owner might want to invest in double glazing windows .

Comfortable accommodation a short walk from the promenade. Car park at the side of the building. We booked a larger room which was nicely decorated with a carpeted floor. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower and toiletries were provided. The accommodation was very clean and fresh. Our room had a kettle with tea, coffee and milk which were replenished on request. Biscuits and bottled water were also provided. A cooked breakfast was provided and juice, cereal and a variety of other breakfast foods were available. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. They were keen to ensure guests were comfortable and satisfied with their stay.
Possibly have cornflakes and rice crispies for cereals at breakfast.

The Libra was located within a short stroll from the town centre. The tower, Central Pier, Coral island, shops, restaurants and pubs all within a 5 minute stroll . The hosts are amazing lovely attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean, fresh and tastefully decorated. The breakfast offers full english with quality ingredients plus cereals, toast with jams, fruit, yoghurt. There is a variety of teas and coffee on offer plus fresh juice.
There isn't anything to add as we had a lovely stay with no negatives
