Gorgeous, large room. Extremely clean, well designed, comfortable. Truly a unique place to stay. It's rare when your hotel room is so lovely that you want to spend more time in it (vs. exploring the city). Note, great restaurants nearby including good coffee. Also a fabulous laundromat that serves wine if you are in need of clean clothes....

Good for travelers to be aware that this is a historic building with NO ELEVATOR. Staff will kindly try to help with luggage but be careful what floor you book (we were in the attic and even with carry on size luggage it felt challenging). I'd still stay there again but wasn't expecting this.

Lovely place to stay in, very close to all the Prague attractions, walkable distance to anywhere really, comfortable beds, sofa, spacious room (we had one with 2 double beds), great housekeeping service (daily), plenty of sockets (I mean sooo many!) , spacious bathroom as well (we had 2 showers) Overall very stylish and aesthetically pleasing, vintage but modern, loved it 🥰 (fyi has no elevator 🛗) The only thing I would spot, our cupboard only had hangers , no shelves in it (but that’s personal preference), also as it’s right next to Karls bridge it was quite noisy in the evening especially as we encountered few loud and screaming people under the windows on the street, but if windows kept closed it wasn’t that notable, other than that our stay there was perfect 👌 very welcoming and friendly staff, helped even with bag storage when checked out as we still had time until our flight ✈️

This hotel was probably the nicest boutique hotel I have stayed in. Spacious and beautiful old architecture. I booked a room with two King beds for me and my friend, which was great for allowing us our own space. Additionally, the bathroom was beautiful and spacious. The hotel is located right above a specialty coffee place and right next to the Charles Bridge and the water, great for getting to the sights and wandering around.

No lift it is really hard when u have heavy bags or elderly person No AC inside rooms it can be really hot on summer Checking in , if u don't have full instruction before u arrive it can be tricky and frustrating

Beautiful old house in a fantastic location right by Charles bridge. Very good beds with a nice duvet and we really loved the bathroom and shower. The coffee shop around the corner "The miners coffee", has great coffee!

The design of the room is so beautiful with the high ceiling and nice colors but some of the furniture need to be updated, the sofas were a bit dirty/rundown which ruined the mood a little bit. And it would be good for late mornings to have better curtains. Otherwise great stay.

Immaculate apartment at the foot of Charles Bridge, close to bars, restaurants and Prague Old Town. Within walking distance to most attractions. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Prague

We booked a return taxi service through the hotel, on arrival the taxi was excellent, unsure if it was the same service for our return pick up but the taxi never turned up which was quite stressful. We waited half hour then had to book an uber instead.

The location was perfect, a short walk across the bridge to the old town. The room had all the facilities and more, robes and slippers were a nice surprise. The room was comfortable and perfectly clean. Communication with staff prior to our arrival was very easy and they responded promptly. Very helpful! We had a wonderful stay.

Just a little noisy at 6:30am each morning when the bin collection happens on the street outside.

The location of the boutique hotel is just incredible - in the heart of Prague, barely 100 m from the Charles bridge! And yet you don’t hear the street noise due to the old-style double windows. The 18-century-palazzo has been renovated preserving the spirit of bygone days. Our apartment was spacious (living room +bedroom) with a very chic vast shower (double rain shower, never seen before) and 2 (!) queen-size beds. As a family of 3 we appreciated this. Free coffee and tea in the room, a little fridge containing some drinks (minibar), toiletries, bathrobes and even slippers were there :)

Nothing :) but there are several points. The check-in is across the street in the hostel under the „tourist information“ sign (apparently the same owner). They mention it in the reservation confirmation, but still you have to remember it. The receptionists there were extremely nice! You also can check-in online (requires typing in lots of information tho) and get a code for the door, so you don’t have to go to the hostel. NB: Domus Balthasar is not a hotel, but rather an aparthotel, with no common spaces and no breakfast. You have lots of cafes in the area, but given the price a breakfast would be nice, but the facility is just a renovated house with several apartments. Don’t get me wrong, the interior and the atmosphere are absolutely stunning.

Such a beautiful room. Gorgeous furniture and toiletries, and the staff were kind enough to provide roses and wine to help us celebrate our anniversary. Without doubt the best hotel I've ever stayed at! Super lovely check in staff too, so nice to chat with them.

There was nowhere to hang clothes or put things away. We were on the top floor, and there are lotssss of uneven stairs. Not a problem for us, but good to be aware of if you've any difficulties :).

Perfect location! The hotel went above and beyond by organizing a virtual parking permit for us, allowing us to park directly in front of the door. This made our stay much easier, as we didn’t have to worry about parking in a new city. A seamless and stress-free experience—thank you! The apartment was very clean and fresh, with a lovely view of the quiet street, despite being in a lively surrounding area. It was a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city's vibrant atmosphere—highly appreciated!
