Great location, beautiful rooms, very comfortable. Lovely complimentary additions which were unexpected and delightful! Reception staff, particularly Susan very helpful. Love the jigsaws !
It was a wonderful stay but and I can’t believe I’m writing this but breakfast service needs to be improved. It would have better if the system to be seated was explained. It wasn’t clear whether you helped yourself to juice and coffee and therefore we missed out, additionally the food order was incorrect with items missed. This would not have been a problem but for the first time , traveling across America, we found the attitude of one server a bit abrupt and condescending which put us off raising any issue. Hopefully this feedback will lead to some improvement .

Breakfast is great and variety of common areas was lovely. Snacks feels very welcoming even though wasn't able to take advantage of most of them.
Check in attendant was very firm about having all parties available to hear the house rules...not really a problem but surprising that so much importance is placed on it, except maybe because of not taking the wine away with us.

We stayed in the Cornell Inn as young lovers in the early 1990s. We thought it appropriate to return after all these years. It’s been upgraded beautifully. The staff was so accommodating that no ratings would properly assess how we feel. I usually can’t sleep my first night away from home but the bed was perfect. Breakfasts were incredible.
I’m handicapped and we had a little trouble parking when we got back from our concerts at the Guthrie Center. No big problem but walking across the lot was tough. I’m not sure what you can do short of reserved parking for those with handicapped placards.

A very nice house, the staff so friendly and a kind of family approach with all the gifts like a wine bottle and the kind words. Room decoration very very nice, I had a breakfast: it was to order on the menu and so delicious.
Check-in window is limited. It didn't bother me this time, but it would stress me if I arrived later Opening doors with the magnetic cards was not very easy for me. I got out for a late dinner, and when I came back late around 11h30pm, the card didn't open the main door at the first attemps. I didn't want to call the emergency number not to disturb the staff. Another couple arriving at the same time helped me get in and every thing was perfect.

Charming property in a terrific location within the town. The staff was lovely, the special touches (wine, welcome beverage) were so appreciated, and it was an easy in/ easy out. Was able to park very near to my room which was great since it rained every day!
My room was smaller than expected, (not a lot of space to move around), yet cozy and sufficient. Breakfast was truly fine, but not that many choices. No fault of theirs, but since it rained nonstop during my stay, getting in and out of the main building was a very wet experience since my room was in one of the furthest outbuildings.

The staff was incredible. They couldnt do enough for us. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful with suggestions. The location was fantastic--easy to access all of the things that people go to the Berkshires for. We would definitely go back. We have some dietary restrictions and the kitchen did their best to accommodate us.
Our room was a bit small, but very comfortable. Our one complaint was tha the bed was so low it was difficult to get in and out of it.

Although The Cornell Inn is on a relatively busy street (rte 7A) it is walking distance into downtown Lenox (about 15 minute walk) with its shops, galleries and restaurants. This historic building has been beautifully renovated and has lovely gardens and fountains outdoors and updated rooms and baths indoors. Rooms and baths are small but thoughtfully designed. Breakfast was delicious! We would definitely stay here again!
The bed pillows were too high for me- I would have liked a selection of different pillows for sleeping. Otherwise we liked everything!

They treat you like royalty. Upon arrival, we were given delicious mango sangrias, to drink while Eugen gave us a tour. First, the surprises: welcome cocktail, complimentary bottle of wine, cognac and ice cream in the evening, 24/7 pastries. Second, the hotel: beautiful deck with coy pond and fountain, room was comfortable, although small and eclectic (but fun and interesting). Walking distance to town. Third, the breakfast: outstanding! Full service, unforgettably delicious, freshly baked pastries, fresh fruits, fresh ingredients. Finally, the staff: welcoming, kind, friendly, helpful, available but not hovering.
We stayed in the main house and the room was a bit small and cramped. However, they have done everything possible with the space to make it very comfortable.

The staff, their attention to us as guests, and the breakfast were all exceptional!
The two conditions I noted that could be improved: 1- shower door didn’t seal at the bottom… quick maintenance fix. 2- older wooden windows and aluminum storm/screen units have not been updated at least in the room we occupied. These result in the only unattended aspect of the room that was not as clean as the rest of the room which was spotless. They’re easily hidden behind curtains. An upgrade would be a significant investment.

The breakfast was generous and we loved all the additional snacks! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. Walking in Kennedy park and around town was also one of our favorite parts of our trip! Couldn’t recommend any higher! Absolutely fantastic experience!
The only thing I could suggest might be a larger trash can in the kitchenette suites. We did take advantage of our kitchen and cooked a couple of nights and just felt bad about overflowing the trash can. Otherwise, the kitchen was well stocked, especially since a typical kitchenette is a mini fridge and a microwave. The fact that this is the only constructive feedback I have, this says a lot about how awesome this place is!
