The location is great. It is really easy to walk form the Church Street Inn to everywhere one needs to go in downtown. Also the free shuttle bus is a 2-3 minute walk away. We used that to get to the Charleston museum. The room had a sofa bed on the walk-in level and stairs leading to the double bed above. Quite cute really and very comfortable. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. The TV wasn't hooked up to the wifi when we got the room and they got that sorted right away. They also gave us a fresh set of towels when we asked for them. Happy to answer questions and just generally pretty happy. If you're going for the first time, they have maps with the sights in the French Quarter and Downtown, both of which we walked around extensively. It's a really pretty city and very clean and relatively quiet. We enjoyed our stay there and would stay there again.

There were minor issues in that the toaster needed managing and the fridge didn't have a door handle. But both were usable and did their jobs. We did think it was a tad pricey but for the location and the service it was fine.

This hotel is in a prime location with quick walkable access to the waterfront, French quarter, and market street, and longer but still very walkable to King street/shopping/college of Charleston campus. I loved having a full kitchenette and two bathrooms-it felt more like a little apartment than a hotel, which was great! The staff was really friendly and stored our bags until we were able to check in. There was water available at all times at a lobby fill station. There is access to a shared courtyard as well.

The morning coffee offering was simple and no breakfast offered-this was fine with me, though, as there were so many walkable options nearby that I wanted to try. If you have mobility limitations (stairs) you may want to call ahead to ask about your room setup. I personally loved our setup with the bed and primary bath upstairs within the room, but this would have been challenging if we couldn’t perform stairs. If you sleep lightly, I also recommend a white noise machine to drown out sounds that come with an apartment style room.

Location! Location! Location! The staff were amazing! They recommended places for us to visit and eat and the places of suggestions did not disappoint!! The Inn itself was amazing very clean, spacious, it was perfect for our girls trip. Everything was clean and and the beds were comfortable. Again the staff was AMAZING! Always helpful and always kind and smiling. We took time out to talk to a few of which we enjoyed they took the time out to talk. Nice courtyard to sip your complimentary coffee in the morning. Thanks for a great place to stay. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back!

Great location. No need to use car ..walk to everything parking garage was easy 4 minute walk. Abit tight of an entrance /exit of garage...be careful with larger vehicles. Rooms were large 2 levels with steep stairs.. But a bathroom on each level Outdoor sitting area is fantastic Kitchen had all the dishes ect that we needed

All good! It does need updating. Loose shower controls. Lights. Outlets But this has no affect on us When we visit Charleston again.. We will stay here

Great location allowed walking to most of the sights, restaurants etc. Hotel was across the street from the market and a block from Old South Carriage horse drawn wagon tours. Spacious 2 bedroom with kitchen and seating area. One king bdrm upstairs, one on main level. Lots of pillows on comfy bed. Don’t miss Boone Plantation!

King bedroom didn’t have a chair. All of the chairs were upstairs near a second bedroom and sitting area. Lighting could be brighter for makeup application.

Wonderful check in at this hotel the people that work at this hotel have been the most friendly and kind and caring people .helpful on places to go and eat and enjoy a good meal .smiling saying hello and having nice conversations during our stay like a very nice home feeling the rooms are amazing clean and comfortable any needs they exceeded and we wanted to extend our stay one more night they were sold out so I understand why the location is steps right on the market great location balcony very nice. The front desk the valet car parkers the care takers in hotel were absolutely Fabulous please stay and enjoy ..coffee was even good.. enjoy your stay as we did great caring team at this hotel. Shout out to all staff you were wonderful to us room 210 thank you for all the kindness...

The location was perfect - every great restaurant, gallery, shop, beautiful streets of amazing architecture and historic interest was within walking distance. Super friendly, helpful and available staff. Pretty courtyard, small gym and suites with kitchens and two baths.

While clean, the units are dated, the bath had a towel rack that was hanging a bit and there is an initial, stale odor to the room. Carpets in halls are worn. Honestly, the location and price more than made up for it and we would stay here again without reservation.

The property was prefect. Great location, we walked everywhere even at night, it was safe and centrally located. Staff were amazing and helpful. Room was perfect. Loved having the little kitchen and living room to relax. Upstairs was lots of room and great views. Loved this place.

Quaint hotel right in the heart of the city with a very beautiful peaceful courtyard with a fountain and greenery, away from the hustle, bustle. Not sure if it was up to par with the price we paid for the room, but this was our first trip to Charleston and it was a last minute booking so don’t have anything to compare it to. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The check in is a little challenging as thelol unloading and loading had to be done double parked on a narrow street if a space wasn’t available. The flight of stairs to the bedroom was sort of a surprise. I’m sure the picture of the hotel indicated this, but I booked in a hurry and didn’t notice. The rattling exhaust fan in the bathrooms that is connected to the light switch was very annoying. If you wanted light, you had the noise of the fan.

Breakfast is not served here, but they have coffee and tea downstairs. The outdoor patio with the fountain is lovely, and its a great place to have your morning coffee. I loved my stay here. And its close to the parking deck. It's just around the corner. Everything in town is within walking distance. It's right next to the market. Staff was very nice!

The mattress was a little too firm for me, but I'm sure it's hard to please everyone on that.
