Would rate the hotel : 8/10 Service : 5/10 ( front of house ) I was in the 15th flr. Decent hotel Budget and well priced Serves the purpose. Can be cut off from the city but cabs and food delivery have no issues . The boys who came to deliver water and plates were good. Late checkout.

The front of house lady is a disgrace to the service industry. I wonder how she is still employed. Lacks basic manners and etiquette. I asked her for something and she jus redirected me to other department without any warm transfer or direction. Ask her anything and she will have a negative answer ready. Just lousy staff. Furniture can be a little dated. Aircon is noisy. Wife isn't happy with the bathroom as the water takes a long time to drain in the shower area. Language is definitely a barrier . The hotel is good. Everything can be fixed. As we are all on a learning curve. Staff need to be more pleasant and enthusiastic with their jobs. Definitely needs good training and leadership.

While the overall stay was satisfactory, I would like to point out a couple of issues with the room assignment. We had requested connected rooms, but the rooms we were given were not adjoining. Additionally, the rooms were located very close to a service door, which resulted in frequent noise and disruptions, especially at the evening. These factors impacted our comfort and privacy during the stay. I hope the hotel can take this into consideration for future room assignments and improve the experience for guests with similar requests.

I had a very pleasant stay in the Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate. My arrival was a bit early, but I was lucky enough to be able to go to my room right away, which was much appreciated. The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious enough, the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower. The bed was comfortable and the room had good natural light. My total time spent was short as I left very late in the evening again. But despite that, I was able to see the main highlights of Abu Dhabi, have a good meal and a swim in the hotel pool. A perfect place when you have a stopover. As an aside, I had emailed the hotel beforehand and received a timely reply. I am writing this as for some reason many hotels do not reply to emails. And this influenced my decision to book this place.

To find some local restaurants you have to walk a bit. It's a nice stroll though next to the canal. And it's easy to get a taxi, either a regular one or by using the Careem app.

This will sound like i was payed for this review. I do not understand how this hotel is only rated this low on booking. They have the best trained stuff, i mean all of them make 2 extra miles every time. I got a room upgrade and late check out. But this is not why i loved the hotel. Somehow they keep record of all my conversations with different stuff members and even with the smallest thing they come back with a solution. They smile, they care and they are really helpful. Thank you for this.

Even if i had any issue, we had such a good vibe in the hotel that i would forgive them. I had like 100 hotel visits on booking, this one had the best trained personel.

The living room was spacious with a nice seating area, a bar connected to the small kitchenette with a fridge, washer/dryer, cooker and microwave. The bedroom was also spacious with a full-size double bed that supports a good night's sleep. The cleanliness was very good throughout the hotel. Location wise we observed that this location is 20 mins away from any location in Abu Dhabi (by car), which makes it a great base to explore AD. The staff are attentive, especially in the breakfast area and room service, they try to give you the best experience possible. I would like to thank the management for their support in a medical emergency, this was well appreciated.

Sometimes we smelt the smell of cigarette smoke on our floor and room. The room booked was one double and one single, but the single bed was not there on arrival (2 am). As the room was booked for 2 + 1, one would expect towels for 3 people, it took 2 days for this to happen.

In the beginning, the journey started very frustrating because the property did not answer the calls, but it turned out that the site was very busy with the guests. However, the services rendered by the workers, it was amazing and they have done great jobs. Also, the breakfast was awesome with variety and different choices to fuel up. The journey turns out to be very pleasant

The setup of the room and bathroom where a guest needs to put their things up when taking showers, address, very limited in putting extra staff especially when guest forgets things such as toothpaste, toothbrush, comb to brush hair, etc...

My stay was absolutely fantastic! The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire hotel was exceptional, with a clear attention to detail that made the experience even better. I was particularly impressed by the housekeeping staff, especially Mr. Moti, who kept my room perfectly arranged and ensured everything was in place. The reception staff, led by Mr. Mohammad Jad, was incredibly kind and efficient. Check-in was quick and seamless. The service throughout my stay was top-notch, and the environment was so comfortable and welcoming.

"I was really disappointed with my stay at the hotel. Despite a loyal member, I was kept waiting in line for about 30 minutes. The staff seemed hesitant to assist, and when I realized I had mistakenly booked the wrong dates, I was told the hotel was sold out and there was nothing they could do. However, 45 minutes later, they realized I was a Gold member and suddenly found a solution. The entire experience was frustrating and certainly not what I expected. I hope the hotel can improve its service moving forward

The room was very nice, and the breakfast was excellent—definitely a great way to start the day. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of both the room and bathroom, as well as the overall hotel cleanliness, which made my stay even more comfortable. A special thank you to Moti from housekeeping, who was extremely helpful and quick to provide any items I requested. The reception staff were also very cooperative and helpful throughout my stay. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely recommend this hotel.
