The Anio Boutique Hotel was 1.5km from Old Town, which was easily walkable, but with the hotel offering regular shuttles to and from Old Town that made that trip that little bit more comfortable given the heat in Hoi An in August. The hotel also offered push bikes to get around. These were a little dated, but enabled you to get to more places not serviced by the shuttle. The shuttle also took you to An Bang Beach, which was 3km from the hotel. This was a very nice spot to visit. The sunsets were lovely. The rooms were large and comfortable. Ours offered a balcony, over looking the pool which was a nice bonus. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, but special thanks goes to Jasmine, who made our stay that little bit nicer. Breakfast offered plenty of options, and was delicious. The a la carte menu was both tasty and good values. The pool was large, leaving space for all to enjoy the water and surrounds. The gym was well fitted out and the spa services were excellent with competitive pricing

The bikes were a bit dated and really need to be updated. However, the ones available did serve their purpose. Availability of bike lights would also be an idea to consider. There was a trick to getting the water pressure in the shower right. Once we got that figured out, we were very happy

Our stay at Anio was amazing from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our time there. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and given lots of useful information about Hoi An and the surrounding area, which really helped us make the most of our trip. We ended up booking several activities directly through the hotel, which was not only convenient but also very well organised. One of our highlights was the Hoi An Memories Show — an unforgettable experience that the hotel arranged for us. Communication was always smooth and easy via their WhatsApp hotline, whether we were coordinating shuttle pickups, booking day trips, or asking for recommendations. The on-site restaurant was excellent — after arriving late on our first night, we were so pleased to have our first Cao Lau there, and it was fantastic. The pool and courtyard area were a peaceful oasis — I enjoyed my breakfast out there every morning, and we spent a couple of afternoons relaxing with cocktails in the pool during happy hour. One of my unexpected highlights? A truly epic club sandwich delivered straight to me on a pool lounger. We also had a fantastic experience at the in-house spa — I booked a 90-minute body massage and loved being able to simply relax in my room right after. The free shuttle service to both Hoi An Old Town and An Bang Beach was incredibly useful. We especially appreciated the hotel’s partnership with Dolphin Restaurant on the beach — being able to use their loungers, towels, and showers made for an easy and enjoyable beach day. A huge thank you to the team for going above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and memorable. Special thanks to Snow, Hannah, Tom, Dolphin, and Gin — you made us feel so well looked after. Highly recommend Anio as a base for exploring Hoi An and beyond — we truly didn’t want to leave.

We had a great stay at Anio, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating - assisting with late check out and airport transfers, amongst others. The hotel had wonderful facilities, with nice extras such as free shuttles into town and bicycles to borrow, which seems in line with most other venues in this price range.

Whilst a range of options for breakfast existed, the western options were the same every day (bacon, sausages, grilled tomatoes, fresh fruit etc.), so variety in terms of offering would have been beneficial especially as some guests stay for a longer time.

Everything is amazing. The room is spacious, comfortable, and super pretty. We felt like we’re living in a fancy castle. The staff is beyond awesome, very helpful, friendly, and accommodating (especially Ken, he is the best!). Breakfast is also delicious with a lot of options, and we especially love their variety of noodles. The hotel is only approximately 5 minutes drive away from Ancient Town and 9 minutes drive away from A Bang Beach, and they have free bicycles and shuttle bus to both places, so it is very convenient.

Really loved my stay at Anio Boutique. I travelled by myself and staff were great informing every day how my day has been or what I would be up to and coming up with good suggestions to make my stay even more fun and comfortable. Room was very nice, good size and lovely styling (including the bathroom) while bed was very comfortable. Location is great, you can easily walk to the old town (~20 min) or take one of the bicycles or the shuttle service to the beach. Also received a complementary massage in their spa which was wonderful.

It may get very busy in the early morning at breakfast, especially if there are tour groups staying at the hotel as well.

LOVED the Anio! The room was spacious and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was huge and had good water pressure. The breakfast was so yummy. And the pool and all the lounge chairs were great. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. There’s a free shuttle that runs from the hotel into the ancient town and to a near by beach. It’s about. 20min walk to the ancient town from the hotel. I liked that we were a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of everything.

The only negative thing was the food menu (other than breakfast) was pretty average.

We had a pool side view and buffet breakfast every morning. The poolside beds were so comfortable and relaxing to lay in. The hotel offered a free shuttle to the old town which was very convenient. The hotel staff Hannah, Thu and Ken were extremely friendly and made our stay very pleasant. Hannah in particular took time to provide local food, sightseeing and tourist activities which were super helpful and made my experience in Hoi Ai more enjoyable. Hannah let us know local prices ahead of time which gave us a better understanding of prices and helped us avoid overpaying. Ken was extremely observant and provided top-notch service.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, they gave us many suggestions for shops and local attractions, they also communicated well via WhatsApp throughout our stay. There was a free shuttle service to take you into town and to the beach, but also very walkable into the centre of town. We could use the bicycles for free. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices, both Asian and Western options. The room was spacious with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area was lovely, with a bar and lots of sunbeds.

The three things we care about most when travelling, clean and comfortable bed, clean bathroom and a buffet breakfast with choices. Anio exceeded all of our expectations as well as the hardworking super friendly staff. Anio also provides a shuttle bus to Hoi An old town and the beach making it convenient to get around. You can walk as well as it’s a short 20min walk from the Hotel. Everyone that works there aim to make our experience memorable. Thank you Flora, Snow, Tom, Julie and the super friendly bus driver ‘Ti’ (maybe spelt Thuy?). We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Hoi An. XXX

Beautiful hotel, great pool area. Rooms were nice and spacious with all amenities you’d need. The breakfast selection was amazing with lots of variety. The facilities were great, we rented the free bikes for the day to ride to the beach just a short cycle away but great route seeing rice fields. Staff were great, gave plenty of recommendations and booked the Hoi A Memories tickets for us - we hadn’t heard about this before they told us would definitely recommend going if you have the chance!

The pool was a little cold so didn’t use it as much as we probably would have but other than that everything was great
