I had a fantastic stay at Silkian Boutique Hotel & Spa in Hoi An. I originally booked 5–6 nights but ended up staying for 9. The staff are truly wonderful, they see you, take the time to help with anything you might need, and happily share great tips for both popular tourist activities and excellent local tailors. Housekeeping is available daily if you wish, and the AC in the room worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated in the August heat. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the towels were of great quality. I also loved the soft kimonos and flip flops provided in the room – such a thoughtful touch. The bathroom amenities were excellent, with lovely body soap, a combined shampoo and conditioner that worked perfectly, and even a razor. I didn’t need to buy any extra toiletries during my stay. Water was replenished every day, and the small fridge in the room was very convenient. Breakfast was included, and while I mostly chose to try new places outside, the hotel’s breakfast was perfectly fine. They cook eggs to your liking, which I really appreciated. There were always sunbeds available by the pool, and this was the only pool in Hoi An that truly cooled me down in the heat, perfect water temperature. I also tried a massage at their spa, which was lovely. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the Old Town and right next to the rice fields. You can borrow a bike for free, making it easy to get around, and Grab is also a convenient option. I came here alone to relax and recharge, and I absolutely achieved that. Thank you for a wonderful stay, next time I’m in Hoi An, I will definitely be staying here again.

It was very central to everything we required. The staff were very helpful and recommended places to eat nearby which were excellent.

I didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t keep the air conditioning going in our rooms when we went out. As when we returned to our rooms in the afternoon for a nap the rooms were extremely hot and we had to wait for them to cool down again. Also reception area was always hot as they kept the front door open and air conditioning turned off.

Rooms very nice,good shower,comfy bed,nice,smallish pool,. The best part of this hotel,the staff!,they were all lovely ,couldn’t have been more helpful made our stay delightful. Area wise this hotel was great for us,5 min drive to the beach area,8 min drive to the town,lovely cafe a 5 min walk away called sip hioian,good for coffee,kombucha and drinks etc.Much quieter area than in the town,we were very happy 😊

We would have liked an area downstairs for a drink in the evening.

The hotel was nice and big, the rooms were cozy and clean. The shower was big and good water pressure. The pool was nice to hang out at the end of the day and cool off. The hotel itself is located in a nice area, not so far away from the old Hoi An area, like a 15 min walk from the hotel basically. There are a lot of restaurants near by and also the easy to get a Grab from the hotel. The staff was super helpful and super nice, they helped us rent a motor bike for 2 days and it was delivered directly to the hotel.

The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, very low quality breakfast and not so tasty. You could also see that most of the products were not fresh and that there was no effort put into the breakfast itself. I think if they could make this better, this would be a full 5 star rating.

Clean, comfy and quiet. Location wasn't bad at all. Half way between beach and town... so walkable to both within about 45 mins. Lots of grab drivers about so travel us easy anyway. Cafes and restaurants around as well. Staff were great..super helpful and spent time giving is a lot of useful information.

Breakfast could be improved in my opinion. Great that you can ask for omelette, but it would be really nice is the fruit selection was a bit more interesting, or perhaps to have some fresh bread rolls, instead of the cheap packaged sliced stuff. That's just me being fussy and also not eating meat whcih makes things a bit harder sometimes.

The hotel is very nice and clean as shown in the pictures. Location is also ideal and they offer bicycles to go around which is very convenient. The staff is super helpful specially the receptionist Vy (Sarah), she helped me and guided me with lot of good recommendations. The bell boy is also very helpful and hardworking bow. Overall great stay. Highly recommended.

Nothing to dislike

The hotel is ~20 minutes from the old town, so it is in its own quiet area but remains easily walkable or bike-able to nearby attractions. It's a big beautiful building with a nice outdoor pool area. The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet but most things within reach - an ATM, nice coffee, good restaurants. The hotel also had free bikes to use to explore the wider surrounding area. Staff were really approachable and helpful, but special mention to Henry who went the extra mile to ensure our stay was special. He is truly an asset to the hotel!

They accomodated us really quickly when we had to make a last minute change to accomodation. The room was smart, comfortable and clean and it was a nice view of the pool. Really quiet too. Good to borrow bikes for a short cycle to the beach

Breakfast had lots of choice but some of it was cold when it shouldn’t have been and juices didn’t really taste fresh and the omelettes were less tasty than we’d had. There was no bar which for a hotel this size was a surprise so adding this would be good.

The room, bathroom, the pool and the rest of the facilities were beautiful and the staff was really nice, friendly and helpful : We arrived early in the morning and they prepared the room for us and gave it to us much earlier. In the meantime, we were having breakfast and there is a big variety of food. One day, we left very early before breakfast and could take some food which they had prepared for us. The location is great as it is between the beach and the town and the hotel gives you bicycles for free.

The spa facilities are not ready yet, as the hotel is. quite new (8 month). But that was not really a problem as spa was not important to us.

Silkian Hoi An was a very nice hotel . Our room was 505 on top floor . The room was comfortable clean and we had a deck with nice veiw of park and neighbourhood. One issue with this room it is right beside the lifts and you hear the clunking when it operates lucky for us it was not too busy . We would stay again but not pay for breakfast 😕 The staff are very helpful and english is good

Breakfast was a let down . The only real hot food were from the soup/ egg station. Sausages etc all cold, hot plates switched off both mornings of our stay the same . The toaster was useless 6 runs through and still not toasted ???
