A lovely 'rustic' inn, but with luxurious, obviously renovated rooms (We were in a "river view" cabin, which boasted a stone fireplace and sofa, with private balcony overlooking the "river") (but see below), large and bright with lots of windows but well situated for privacy. Overall, completely charming, with very nice resort touches, such as a glass of local wine and beer available in the afternoons and hot cookies or s'mores over a fire pit in the evenings. The grounds are fantastic, giving a very secluded, forested feel, very quiet but easily reachable from the highway and town and within reach of several good restaurants. The main Lodge building was classic with large fireplace, decks, game tables and pictures of Clark Gable fishing (he evidently stayed there in the '30s); between the broad lawn, the room's balcony and the deck at the lodge, the place gives a choice of places to lounge and relax. Breakfast was hot and plentiful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The only negative was that the term 'river view cabin' was a bit of a misnomer. You couldn't actually see the river rom the room, except a very tiny sliver through the greenery -- it may have grown up since the listing -- but you can certainly hear it. The river is reachable via a path through the undergrowth, but a bit of a distance away. The room's balcony actually overlooks a small diversion channel rather than the river, but that was home to geese and other critters and was charming in its own way.

Historic lodge with great attention to detail & amenities! Stayed in the "Clark Gable" room with lovely view of the forest, comfortable bed with quality linens & well appointed bathroom. Delicious food starting with ample afternoon appetizers (enough to be dinner), very reasonably priced adult beverages available; freshly baked cookies & s'mores kits in the evening, nice meeting other guests around the fire pit. Excellent (and generous) breakfast with plenty of offerings - kudos to chef.

ONLY complaint is that when sitting outside, it is not quiet: when Inn was built, it was probably the only structure around however it is flanked on one side by hwy 99 and I-5 across the river (peekaboo views, easy walk to river from lodge or cabins - some may be waterfront but don't know for certain) and there is some type of power plant (drawing water from river for irrigation?) that intrudes on the forest quiet. It's a lovely setting, just not 'silent' like one might expect in the forest.

What a gem! The hotel and grounds were absolutely fabulous. This was a highlight hotel from our road trip. We loved the ambience and the historic nature of the hotel. The little additions such as the snacks in the early evening and the lit firepit with smores, were a great touch. Our room was gorgeous, with steps up into the bed! We loved it and will definitely come back.

There was significant noise from the highway outside the hotel. With people arriving in the early hours of the morning in the car park, shouting to each other. Such a shame and maybe something which doesn't happen very often. It wouldn't put us off returning though.

The main inn is nestled among beautiful mature trees, while the vacation rentals overlook a quaint irrigation canal. There are trails that lead directly from the property to the Rogue River. Early evening, complimentary snacks are served, followed by freshly baked cookies and milk - everything is prepared on site. Our room was comfortable, featuring a spacious walk-in closet and a large, high bed. I especially appreciated the quiet central AC. The staff were warm and welcoming, and offered helpful restaurant recommendations.

Beautiful situation overlooking the Rogue River Valley, country-feel being out of town, lovely grounds to relax in. Excellent selection of dips, fruits, and vegetables to enjoy with choices of wines and beers in the late afternoon. Beautiful old lodge to sit in at reception, as well as a deck and lawn chairs.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing after the lovely Happy Hour spread. The leftover cut-up fruit could have been offered, as well as fresh oatmeal. Just a small suggestion- cushions for the rocking chairs in each unit

Cozy cabin in the woods! What a cool place, very cozy in winter with a fire in the common living area, friendly staff and guests, games to play, and beautiful garden to walk around. Good hot breakfast, afternoon snacks and drinks. Our room was spacious and comfortable, large bathroom with great bath to soak. 5-10min drive from town or other food options, so plan that in advance.

Our room was in the main house facing the road, so got some road noise through the windows, especially if they are open for fresh air. did quiet down later at night, but was noticeable.

I have stayed at this property numerous times and whenever my family and I are going through grants.Pass with make a point to stay overnight to stay at this beautiful property. The location is secluded and quiet, which way is especially like. See main cabin with the kitchen and living here and dining is warm and inviting. And there's always something fun going on with food and drink tastings. We especially always enjoy the S'mores kits available to enjoy around the fire. If you are ever ingrants , pass , be sure to stay here.

Lovely grounds, free breakfast and afternoon snacks with wine and beer for purchase. Lots of places to sit outside on the deck and well-kept lawn. Big trees with lots of nice shade. And very cool history—definitely take a minute to flip through the photo album in the lodge and read about the notable guests. We stayed in the king room with spa bath and loved the balance of rustic and comfort (excellent AC!)

No major complaints, some little bugs in the room but that’s to be expected given the location.

This was the best stay by far out of the five accommodations on this trip. The staff were kind, accommodating, and professional. The property is well kept and the cabins are lively. Each morning the breakfast (hot) was outstanding. Each evening hors d'oeuvres and cookies were available. We would definitely choose Weasku when in Grants Pass.

Charming, folksy, historical ambience, two minutes walk to the river with a mile and a half trail along side the scenic Rogue. Warm and welcoming staff of friendly, interesting people. They went out of their way to make me comfortable, even bringing up a mini fridge to my room which wasn't normally offered in that room, and bringing a microwave to my sisters room which also wasn't normally offered in that room. They feed you a lot--a full breakfast, appetizers at 4:30 which you could practically make dinner out of, fresh cookies out of the oven at 7:30 every night. Games to play available in the large and homey family room/lobby, with a big fireplace. Just such a lovely view out of the dining room. You look out into the the huge lawn and the tall trees and the cabins below. Also it's located with an easy driving distance to many fun hikes and other special attractions of the area.

Only that they play country music in the lobby at all hours;country music is not something I enjoy.
