Location: perfect,right in the heart of the historic centre, not too far to walk to the beach and promenade, and extremely close to the Duomo and main square . Rita responded quickly to any requests for information and was waiting for us at the arranged time to show us to the apartment . There are steps ( about 46 ) before reaching the apartment ( but it is worth it) our room with balcony was perfect with a view looking down onto a local street towards the sea or looking up at La Rocca. Spotlessly clean, beach towels provided, a good safe and everything you needed ( plenty of hangars) There was a good choice of breakfast each morning, breads, fresh cakes, pancakes, fruit etc which could be taken on a lovely little balcony overlooking red roofed buildings. Beach umbrellas were available which we did use. There are four rooms, so a peaceful B&B right in the heart of Cefalu. I definitely would recommend a stay here, with Rita being the perfect host.

This BnB is beautifully located right in the center of Cefalù’s historic old town – the location couldn’t be better. The beach, cathedral, and many great restaurants are just a short walk away. Breakfast was excellent, thoughtfully prepared, and featured local products. Most of all, the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our stay truly special. We felt completely at home and would love to come back!

One thing to be aware of: there is no lift, and the rooms are at the top of the building. You’ll need to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs – this can be challenging if you have heavy bags or mobility issues.

If I could give this B&B more than 10 stars, I would. The host, Rita, is absolutely lovely, thoughtful, helpful, an amazing cook (the breakfast is to die for) and you can tell that she genuinely wants you to have a good time in Cefalu. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We really appreciated the small balcony and clothes line as well! The location is amazing: a small quiet street right between 2 main streets, making most attractions and restaurants an easy walk. If you go to Cefalu, you have to stay here.

Absolutely nothing

Our host Rita answered all our inquiries promptly. When I inquired if I could drop our bags off at 11am she immediately got back to me. When we arrived our room was ready for us to check in. The room was immaculately cleaned with lovely linens on the bed, 2 water bottles in the fridge, a hot water kettle, and a small coffee machine. There was a clothesline on the balcony for us to use. The location is perfect - close to the Duomo and a block away from the beach. Breakfast on the small balcony was plentiful with delicious sweet and savory dishes, eggs, crepes, yogurt, croissants, meats, cheese and fresh fruit. There was even a toaster if you wanted to make toast. The coffee was strong and delicious. Agrodolce B&B is a gem in Cefalu and excellent value. We were only there for two nights and I wished I could’ve stayed longer.

Lovely little b and b with a super friendly and helpful owner, Rita. Rita's breakfasts were really delicious with different homemade goodies to look forward to every morning. She helped us with our luggage, excellent restaurant recommendations and was very encouraging and patient with my schoolgirl Italian. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to be able to hang your washing off the balcony clothesline at the end of each swimming day. Good water pressure in the shower. Everything super clean and nice little touches. When you walked through the b and b, it smelled delicious, kind of like a spice cake was baking in the oven. I would definitely stay here again or in one of the other properties Rita manages.

As many others have mentioned, there are about 40 stairs to climb to access the property. We needed the exercise and didn't mind but if you were frail or had a physical disability this would be unsuitable. You will need two people to carry a large or heavy suitcase up or down these stairs.

Rita is lovely. Her place is in a perfect spot in the old town to eat well, swim often, explore everywhere and even enjoy some great views from your own room. The breakfast was incredible with crepes and homemade fig and orange jam (I'm still thinking about this), and fresh pizza dough with gorgeous cherry tomatoes and olive oil from her farm. Rita was always available and answered all my questions and was there when I arrived to draw me a map of her recommendations of the town.

I especially liked that it was in the heart of Cefalù. That feeling of going outside on the balcony and seeing this Italian narrow street, with other people’s balconies in close reach. Of all the travels to Italy we’ve had before, this felt to me like the most authentic Italian experience. Grateful for something I don’t get to feel every day. Oh, and to the right you could actually see the sea. Plus, it was really quiet - both at day and by night - we had a good relaxing rest. The property is small, chic and charming. We loved the breakfast outside. We appreciated the coffee & tea in the room. Rita is very friendly, makes you feel like you’ve just arrived home. Thank you!

Excellent location close to beach , shops and restaurants. Everything you need in walking distance. Rita was very welcoming and helpful with any questions. Breakfast was lovely each morning and we enjoyed cappuccinos on the balcony !

Property is accessed via lots of stairs which was no issue for us but may be for guests with mobility issues.

Breakfast was the best we had on our long trip through Sicily. Rita has a vast array or foods that seem to suit whatever country the guests may come from. The location is just great, right in the middle of everything. We both would stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to visit Cefalu again. Rita herself is a gem, friendly, helpful, lots of good suggestions for places to eat. Highly recommend.

Towels were rough. That is about all though.

She made are stay in Cefalu a dream come true.We told her what time we were arriving and meet us at the street entrance.She grabbed both our bags and marched up three flights of stair without any hesitation. She opened the door to her b&b and were a brilliant room filled with light and fresh air. The kitchen dining room was sparkling fresh and clean.She showed us to our with a view of The Rock.Give us a list of three excellent restaurants nearby. One,Chat Noir, we ate at twice.Rita answered all questions and offered help whenever we needed it.A truly amazing and wonderful person.So engaging and happy to be able to serve and help us.She made are trip to Cefalu a very memorable part of our stay.
