It was a beautiful hotel in an incredible location. Upon arrival, they upgraded our room and the view was stunning. The bed was very comfortable and they have many services available. It was in a great location for walking around Bastia with many restaurants and stores nearby. We were sad to leave! It is in a pedestrian-only area, so you'll have to park in a nearby parking garage. We parked in the Citadel parking that they recommended and it was about 12€ per day. However, it was a relatively quick and easy walk (about 5 minutes), so worth it to us. Plus, the area around the hotel is very peaceful without any cars.

That we couldn't stay longer!

We booked a Superior Room with Seaview and it was just as described. We were in room 26 and the view was fabulous - looking out to sea directly ahead and a view of the marina and port to the left. The big ferries coming and going went right past our window which I loved seeing. The room was spacious and very nice - large comfortable bed, good quality linen, big bathroom with double basins and roomy and powerful shower. Nice toiletries. Everything was very clean. We had a drink on the terrace in the evening - a lovely area with a spectacular view. All of the public areas of the hotel were very nicely furnished and inviting to spend time in. We parked in the Citadel Car Park which is 5 minutes walk - although up and down some steps. It closes overnight but you can get your car out 24/7.

The location and the view were exceptional and VERY quiet. The room was a good size for two people (euro standards) with enough closet space for a week’s stay, well appointed with a very large comfortable bed, good placement of power outlets by bed and good wi-fi but bring your own entertainment. The TV selection was meager and didn’t allow for streaming. Robe, slippers and all toiletries were provided which isn’t often the case anymore and a very nice touch.

The hotel was well located in the upper old town with good views across the port. Easy to access and car park not too far away (public secure car park about 10 euro per night). Big room and spacious bathroom, comfortable beds. Very good continental breakfast

We had a superior room with sea view. We were surprised that there was an external staircase, 2 flights. Not good for the elderly. The view was obstructed by a hedge, which to be fair also stopped people looking in from the restaurant and walkway opposite

The hotel is in a fantastic location in the citadelle area overlooking the lovely town and port of Bastia. Our room was a junior suite and as well as a small balcony with two chairs overlooking the sea port, marina and town we also had a side balcony with dining table sofa and deck chairs. Really fantastic location with amazing views and worth the upgrade of room. our daughters room was also large and comfortable.

There was limited cupboard space in our room.

The room was spacious and nicely appointed. The view was lovely, and since it took in the open sea, the harbor, and the hills, it was perfect. The staff was very helpful in getting us a taxi both on arrival from the ferry and back to the terminal.

The hotel's kitchen needs to be improved: breakfast's scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage were over done and dried out, and the dinner servings didn't live up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. .

Excellent location, just in the heart of old town and the old harbor. Restaurants and bars just around the corner, yet, very quiet area. The bed was very comfortable, the room well equipped with minibar, coffee machine and kettle. Beautifully decorated rooms. AC works very well. View from the roof top bar is amazing.

The room was rather small. The staff is using chlore to clean the rooms so there is rather strong smell of it when you enter. After opening the windows we could ventilate the room relatively quickly.

The location is wonderful being within the citadel walls and nearby parking at the underground citadel parking lot was convenient (22.80 euros per day). We had a wonderful time watching the harbor activity from our room. An elevator brings you from the citadel heights to the harbor restaurant area, which is convenient if you don't want to use the stairs. The staff was very efficient and helpful.

No complaints whatsoever from my wife and I (both 72).

The location in the old town is on top of a hill and we walked rather than take a taxi which was very hard work with our bags.we discovered later that there is a public lift from the sea level, just past steps for the roman gardens. It takes you up to just before the turning to the hotel. Much easier.

Amazing location with stunning views and good restaurants within easy walking distance. To wake in the morning looking through the suite and the terrace door to views of the sea was so relaxing. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The addition of a lift from the Citadel area down to the port was extremely helpful, especially to one who finds steps difficult.

The wifi was not what one expects of a four star hotel.
