Air con was unobtrusive. Great! In the Marriot it’s sometimes like a hurricane next to a building site. Rooms had been given a make-over since our last stay.

Breakfast choice was v limited and eating a muffin in a dark room was not wonderful. I appreciate offering a full choice is expensive but this alternative is a spiral to no customers. Only other minor niggle was that the comforter was upside down ( opening at the top) never had that before. Housemaid quality control needs some work.

Nice rooms, really good pretty location and pretty building. Very high quality bed. I really enjoyed sleeping there. The on-site bar & restaurant may be an attraction for some .. (but I don't drink and tend to avoid restaurant food in general). Overall a classy nice place with great staff.

Breakfast was carby muffins and other assorted fattening sugary foods. They did provide me with some hard-boiled eggs on request though. If you like sugar for breakfast, then the breakfast is for you. If you, like me, avoid carbs (especially sugary ones), go for the hard-boiled eggs or eat elsewhere.

a charming Hotel, well worth staying there.

All was great, except for the final billing. I was charged over $40.00 US, in a separate invoice. The Hotel claimed it was a mistake. and it would be corrected. It was corrected, but the amount was half the original amount, I sent (?) a letter to Booking.com, and at the end you know what their response was - "phone the hotel". Way to go Booking.com. I phoned long distance, twice. I gave up.

Beautiful building inside and out. Convenient parking. Great location and inspiring history shared with the guests. The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable.

We were expecting a more elaborate breakfast with some made to order dishes and hope for more fruit. It was a simple self service breakfast that was fine - but not exciting.

A beautiful and interesting period hotel , which has recently undergone an upgrade which is complementary to the building and comfortable for the guests. A peaceful and safe location. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Superb food in the restaurant.

Only a very tiny thing- no water glasses in the room despite complementary water in the fridge

I liked the small private hotel feel. The location was quiet and we felt like we were really away from home while staying in our city. The dining was elegant and tasteful. Our room was large and very comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable, and the shower large. We loved the supplied robes as an added touch. Staff was very professional. Free breakfast was just right. We would definately stay here again.

Everything! It’s an interesting old building that has been beautifully remodeled into a hotel. My room was large, nicely appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was a cold buffet and quite adequate. I did not eat in the restaurant. I recommend the hotel to anyone traveling through Concord, They also allow dogs.

We were upgraded to a corner suite with a large patio/balcony. It was lovely to be able to sit outdoors across the street from a park! We also appreciated the large tv screen and refrigerator. And, the easy parking with access to an elevator to the lobby!

Wanted Breakfast but the place was filled with children. Not your fault. I just wanted a quiet coffee and... Loved the on site restaurant/Bar and Bartender, Scott. He was very pleasant, funny and cordial. The entire staff seemed like they loved their jobs. Refreshing! My daughter and I had a great burger with truffle fries. Cooked perfectly. Until next time!

The room was lovely. Larger than I expected. Clean. The bed was very comfortable. Always found a spot for parking. Good location. Great staff

Hard to locate at night…the sign is very small. Had to carry my luggage up the stairs. The sink in the bathroom didn’t leave much room for toiletries.
