It was a fantastic 6 night experience which was blessed with good warm 28C weather most of the time and electric storms at night to clear the air. Lovely welcoming reception and staff after one has parked the car temporarily at the side of the hotel before going down to the two storey underground car park after check-in. Immaculate design and furnishings throughout all public areas, wellness, outside gardens and pool areas and bedrooms. The Half-board Dinner offered was excellent value for four courses plus salad for EUR16 pp per night, but you have to commit to eat every night of your stay which is no hardship at all !!!. Extensive salad buffet at dinner and cheeses and desserts.. Good value wine list, which provides for bottles and by the glass and all budgets. Staff in the restaurant are so friendly and helpful and beautifully dressed as are the Reception team females in attractive local dresses etc. Beautiful gardens with extensive loungers of all types and umbrellas. Outside pool immaculate condition and cleanliness and heated to boot !!. WC building in the garden. Terrace outside the restaurant allows for breakfast or dinner weather permitting and on a first come basis with no reservation possible .

Excellent service, Staff was great!, very friendly especially Willy and Sammy, Facilities were nice and the food was excellent. I would recommend the half board option. I can't wait to return next year

If you don't have a local number it is impossible to call the hotel shuttle to pick you up in the town centre or from the lifts. The centre of town is an 11 minute walk to the hotel which is slippery in ski boots. I am not sure if it was me or I didn't see that you could contact the shuttle by what's app which would be very helpful to tourists.

As a young couple hiking, we highly enjoyed our stay at Luna Mondschein. The garden and spa are lovely. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool and how private they’ve made it all feel. The half board option was good value and food was tasty with staff able to make accommodations for my gluten and dairy intolerances. The location is great - in the heart of Ortisei. Our room was lovely too with a great view from the balcony. Staff were very helpful with hiking tips and maps. Would love to stay again!

My only feedback to the property would be that stocking gluten free bread would make a massive difference (appreciate it’s difficult) :) My only point to note for visitors would be that the parking stalls are a bit tight. Once in Ortisei, we found we didn’t actually need to use our car much, so we were fine once we got it in there.

I had a truly wonderful stay at the hotel – from the moment I arrived, everything was perfect. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed, making it a relaxing retreat after long days of exploring. What truly made the experience stand out was the bartender ( manuel) . Not only were the drinks expertly crafted, but the bartender’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made every evening at the bar special. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home – a true highlight of our trip. Thank you to the entire hotel team for such a lovely experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay here. The location was great (near the bus stop, short walks from the Seceda and Aple de Siusi cable cars and the funicular)…and the garden area felt very peaceful, despite being near a busy road (we liked the swings and outdoor seating, with lovely views). Food was excellent. We chose half board and it was good value. Evening menu changed daily and there were several options. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choice and great quality. Staff were welcoming, shared relaxation areas and bedroom were very comfortable and we enjoyed using the sauna daily after our walks.

Fantastic breakfast buffet and service by staff. Huge selection of delicious food. If you have half board you are allocated the same table for the duration of your stay so you know where to go and sit each time. Evening meals were nice with a good selection of choices. The indoor and outdoor pools I loved. Beautiful garden area around the pool. I enjoyed hthe complimentary cake and fruit in the bar area late afternoon each day. Very close to bus stops, easy slightly uphill walk to centre and gondola's. I liked the balcony in my room. Nice outlook from it.

The hotel is situated very nicely within walking distance from the center but in a quiet neighborhood. They have a beautiful garden, also very nice bar area. Breakfast was great, a large selection of different bread / charcuterie / muesli / sweet pastries etc. Good coffee also in machine, though you could order barista-level coffees from the kitchen. BUT first and foremost we liked the staff - they have one of the best staffs we have ever met.

Staff were fantastic. A family run business, with young members of family serving and collecting used plates/bowls at breakfast. Very mannerly. Well trained. A credit to their parents. Beautiful breakfast fare. Heated outdoor, and indoor pool with spa - a welcome treat after a day's hiking. A wonderful location for a summer visit

No air conditioning was unfortunate. We roasted at night, although staff informed us that it was unusually hot this July, with a mid-30C heatwave all over europe.

The half-board was excellent. It had an extensive breakfast buffet (including even a make your own juice bar), snacks/cakes in the bar late afternoon, and 4-course gourmet dinners. The rooms were very comfortable and the saunas were a great way to relax after a day of hiking. The location was a 5-10 minute walk from downtown and the gondolas up to Alpe de Suisi and Seceda. The gardens and outdoor heated pool looked very nice but it was a bit cold and we didn’t get a chance to use them. I think the would be great in the summer.

Very comfortable room with balcony. Excellent spa with different sauna/steam/relax options and indoor pool/jacuzzi. Very good restaurant with plenty of choices and starter/dessert/cheese buffet. Afternoon snacks included in the bar (soup, cakes, fruit etc). Cosy bar area. Hotel shuttle bus operated for most of the day and was very quick to collect us from the Ortisei lift stations or the town centre. Friendly family run hotel with lots of return guests!

No tea/coffee/water included with the free afternoon snacks.
