The location is what you pay for. It couldn't be better. Very central, close to the beach and all main attractions. The hotel is cute, stylish, and looks cozy. The room is clean. There is an optional breakfast for an additional fee.

1. The hotel mentions parking in its description, but it is street parking. Although we were lucky to find a spot nearby quickly. 2. The room on Booking said "Family room with Balcony", but actually the room is without a balcony... 3. The staff are not very professional. 4. The hotel positions itself as an apart hotel, but it lacks so many important things. For instance, there are pans, but there are no plates, just cup saucers. There is no detergent, nor sponge, nor dishcloth. Upstairs on a mezzo floor with the bed, there are no bedside tables or shelves or anything to put things on. 5. The room was clean, but I am pretty sure there was mold in the bathroom. Which is understandable because of the high humidity in Batumi. I just hope they fix it with anti-mold treatments.

Shower door couldn’t be fully closed, so water was leaking on the bathroom floor. Also breakfast - starts at 8:00, but there are only 4 (!) tables in hotel’s restaurant, when I came down at 8:15, all the tables were already occupied, tried again at 9:00 and 10:00, but also no luck, so I had to skip breakfast on the first day and had to go to a nearby cafe to eat. On second day I came down at around 7:50, all the tables were free, but there was almost no food. Didn’t expect the breakfast would be so hard to get, was really upset

We had a lovely spacious room with two double beds (one in a loft) which was perfect for myself and my 2 children (aged 3 and 5). Everything was very clean and comfortable. the location is excellent, just a couple blocks down from the boulevard and surrounded by dozens of cafes and restaurants but still quiet enough to sleep at night with windows open. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was a very small buffet but decent selection of options for all tastes.

Everything was great, just worth mentioning there is no elevator in the building (and no help carrying bags!). Also, despite their being a kitchen in the room, there is no pots/pans for cooking provided (we didn’t need it so it might be a case of having to ask for it).

The hotel is perfectly located in the old part of town, close to the beach and all main location. It's very clean, with all needed ammenities for a short- or longer-term stay. The staff is extremely helpful, breakfast is good, beds are comfortable.

I wish the hotel had an elevator, but they are building one right now. But I asked the reception and one of the staff was very kind to help with carrying my bags. Also, there is no designated parking, and street parking is scarse, which is a general issue for Batumi, especially in the old town.

The room was big and bright, it’s and ideal option for a family of four. We liked the room a lot, the staff there is nice and friendly, and the location is perfect if you want to see more of old Batumi center and feel the atmosphere of this city. It only takes around 5-7 minutes to get to the beach and other most popular places are close as well. Almost all the restaurants in the area are comfy, well-designed and the food is absolutely delicious!

There were ants in the room in the beginning and there were no fridge in the room, but it was possible to use the hotel’s big fridge, so it was fine.

Mariinsky Hotel is excellent - our room was clean and comfortable. The location is great with just 10min walking to the beach and with many good restaurants and cafes in the area. Despite the central location we were not disturbed in the night by any noise. They have a nice rooftop where you can bring a book or just relax, with views over central parts of Batumi. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It is good to be aware that the hotel does not have a lift and you need to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs.

Big apartment with balcony and washing machine. Great location. Short walk to boulevard, beach and Europe Square. Most staff very helpful despite limited English. Highly recommended accommodation. Rooftop terrace.

We arrived at 8pm and there was no answer at the door and there was no answer to the telephone. We were standing on the street with luggage for 10 minutes after 6 hr journey.. They did apologise, however.. There is no lift. They gave us the key to the room, but it wasn't made up from the last guests (!) resulting in further delay. We asked about breakfast provision but was told there was none. Then another member of staff told us on our last day that breakfast was available at an additional cost but it was too late for us to avail of same.

From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and ensured that every aspect of our stay was perfect. The location of the hotel couldn't be better - located in the old part of Batumi with easy access to all the attractions. The facilities are top. Everything was maintained and offered a level of comfort that truly enhanced my stay. Cleanliness is a top priority for me when traveling, and I was impressed by the immaculate condition of our room and all the public areas of the hotel. It's evident that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. The variety of options available, the quality of the food was outstanding, and it provided the perfect start to each day of my stay. Overall, I cannot recommend Mariinsky Hotel highly enough. If you're looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay, look no further. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Batumi.

Amazing boutique hotel in a fantastic location. We found it thanks to a Wander-Lush travel blog. Honestly it might be the best accommodation we had in Georgia: stylish, cosy, impeccable clean with quality finishes. Wish all the hotels took a note and learn hospitality from the Mariinsky. Next time we will try to manage longer vacation in Batumi just to hang out in the old town. Thank you to the staff and owners for such a lovely stay.

Breakfast was a bit hit or miss, we came early and some items were not there yet, which I saw that were prepared later on: crepes, more types of pastry and some guests were getting eggs prepared which we didn’t think was an option. Not a big deal, I should have asked. Other than that all good.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which is in an ideal location. We were able to explore the entire city on foot, as everything was just a short walk away. The place was exceptionally clean and cozy, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We definitely plan to return and highly recommend this hotel to others. It's a great value for money, offering comfort, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere.
