I am not a Hotel/Pub person I stay away from places like this when my sister informed me that the place was a pub, I cringed and thought crap I didn't want to stay at a Pub/Hotel, but the Hotel exceeded my expectations they have spent millions renovating this place the Bistro, the Pub side I would have not known that it used to be a real rough and run down place, Hotel rooms were well appointed, clean, a lot more spacious than I expected had all the amenities that one would expect staying at a 4 or 5 star hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful, Food at the Woodlock bistro/restaurant was great best Beef Sliders I have ever tasted, all the food I ate was really good and priced well,
Not much to say here, just the bathroom flooded a bit because of the open shower refer photo

The room was very comfortable and provided all I needed for an overnight stay between long drives. The shower was a good size, the bed was good to sleep in, and room service was available for a convenient meal.
I noticed the morning after my arrival that the bottom sheet on the bed had an awful looking mark? stain? on it. Grossed me out a bit, I must admit. If I'd noticed it on arrival I would have requested it be changed, but I was so tired when I arrived after a long drive that I didn't pick it up. Parking was a bit hit and miss - being a Friday night it seemed there were a lot of people coming in to eat at the restaurant which meant guests would be lucky to snag a parking spot.

I've bow been here three different occasions recently, some traveling solo, some traveling with my spouse. This place is great for my needs, good sized rooms, air con, beds are comfy, bat fridge, cutlery and crockery, iron and ironing board, all the basics. Walking distance to train, cafes, coles, playground, arthouse, church, restaurants, public transport (buses and train), at the pub with excellent restaurant.
There is no central light in the room, a little dark, however good lighting on the walls, and good natural lighting, just still a bit dim.

It was tidy, and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was my father’s birthday, and the lady who checked us in made sure we had rooms available that were not single beds, which was lovely. Would have much preferred to have stayed in the newer building, but with that said, the older building is still very clean and accommodating. I really like that it’s accessible for all people. The showers are GREAT - so big and open, as well as accessible for people with disabilities too, which you don’t find much in hotels these days (or they seem to lack what you have, which was really accommodating).
I would probably suggest making the decor and facilities maybe more up to date with the newer building (for more fussier customers that have seen both buildings - only suggestion which sounds super picky, sorry)!!

It's a room in a hotel in a semi rural town. But it's a very good room in a hotel in a semi rural town. Clean, safe, and surprisingly sound proof from below pub. The staff were excellent, particularly the weekend manager and the cleaning lady (sorry I cannot recall your name)! Very easy to work with, laundry service was very helpful, food at the pub not bad, especially on wing wednesdays. Parking on site, and walking distance to train station.
I was hoping the pub itself would be nicer, but it is more a pokies pub. On the plus side, means not much noise after dinner service, which is quite short.

The room was very nice and tidy. Definitely value for money. Location was great for where we had to be. And the pub being right there was very handy. Food was fantastic as well. And in the morning, there is a cafe literally across from the hotel and Coles about 400 meter walk.
Nothing I didn't like. Just a suggestion to keep spoon or teaspoon as bowls were supplied but no spoons to have say cereal or if takeaway soup? Nothing negative at all!

The location of the hotel is great as were the facilities. The room was clean and quiet, water was hot, shower pressure great and bed was comfy! Perfect for an overnight stay when you’re travelling.
Nothing particularly. The carpark was a little busy when we arrived due to the carpark being used for restaurant patrons too- but the only solution to that was to arrive earlier I suppose - Catch 22 though as it’s hard to do when you’re travelling - due to traffic and the like.

I was quite impressed by the beautiful chic and stylish decor of the hotel to the great service at the reception, both check in and out. Very impressed! We stayed in #207. The room and bathroom were very clean and chic. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the brick feature wall in the room. A very nice touch! We'd definitely stay here again if we're in town! Value for money!
Besides being impressed by this hotel for the price we paid. The bar fridge in the room wasn't that cold.

Bed was comfy and facilities in room and restaurant were great.
Room 205. There was no milk in the fridge for tea and coffee. Fridge needs to be defrosted. no hand towel and hand wash says hand sanitizer which is confusing as it is a soap that needs washing off. the shower is nice but the shower head is super high and not adjustable. Splashed the whole bathroom washing my hair. Need an extra floor mat. The basin needs to be sanded or something as there is fiberglass bits poking off it.

The room decor is quite cool, with a blend of exposed historical brick alongside modern materials. Bed was comfortable, sofa bed not so much. TV was good. Free onsite parking. The restaurant was great, we really enjoyed our dinner. The staff were helpful.
Our room was up a large flight of stairs, which was awkward with our suitcases. There was nowhere to lay out suitcases in the room. The room was a bit too small for us, yes it technically sleeps 4 people but it was a tight squeeze. Please note the bathroom layout is only really suitable for a single or couple - the shower and toilet walls are made of frosted glass and the bathroom is open to the room, so there is no privacy. We couldn't find the towels, and then in the middle of the night we discovered they were hanging above the toilet, not a very logical or sanitary location. The toilet seat didn't fit on the toilet properly. There was a small desk but the chair supplied is really a lounge chair, not a desk/dining chair, so it's awkward to sit there.
