The Farmhouse is really pretty and it's sorrounded by trees in a really quiet place away from the main road. Inside the farmhouse you'll feel like home, the living room had board games and a traditional decoration with comfortable sofas. They don't have smart TVs in the rooms, but instead they offered comics, books and DVDs - which makes it more romantic :) The breakfast was nice, it's a small place so the same person that is receiving you is also cooking porridge and refilling milk, bread, and everything to keep everyone feed up for the day. But that's not a bad thing, he did it with a smile and being very efficient!

If you are very allergic to dogs, this is a dog friendly place so remember take your anti allergy pills in advance! I forgot to and had some allergy symptoms, but everything was really clean so nothing too crazy :)

We arrived late and there was a note waiting for us with directions on accessing our room, which was all we needed. We didn't see any staff until the next morning at breakfast. The farmhouse was on a spacious property oozing with charm. Breakfast was included and delicious. The porridge was a real treat! Get the maple syrup & compote! The absolute highlight was being greeted by Gio the gray cat! He showed us right to our room and even stayed for a visit! I am quite certain he would have stayed away if not welcomed, but I adored him so thought this was SO great! He greeted me outside the next morning as well and toured me around the home while I sipped my coffee. Could not have been a better start to the day! Stay told me he has been a resident longer than any of the current staff - so, I was thankful he was such a gracious host!

It is a short drive from town, but too long to walk after the pub for those wondering.

Perfect stop off location easy to find from Talbert on our way to Inveraray. Killian BB is a beautiful Victorian farmhouse. There is plenty of parking. Our room instructions were ready for us and a map of exactly where our room was. In the porch a welcome from the team blackboard to greet us. We completed what time we'd like our breakfast from 3 sittings and whether we wanted berry compote or syrup on our porridge for the morning. My husband doesn't like porridge like I do but realised he'd find breakfast items in the morning. The farmhouse is well decorated and warm and inviting. Our room had a lovely outlook to the hills and plenty of birds singing away at dusk a joy to hear. The dark skies were wonderful to see unlike the cities where it never gets dark with all the harsh lights. Our room was lovely well thought out with quality everything and tea making facilities. Quality soap in the shower room. A welcome added bonus to the room was full TV such as Netflix, YouTube and IPlayer BBC catch up which we don't have at home and watched all the latest The Apprentice a treat for us! Breakfast was self service with croissant, juices, toast, boiled eggs, juices and jams. Superb. Would definitely stay again highly recommended Mike and his staff are warm and welcoming.

What's not to like, superbly well organised and great value for money.

We absolutely LOVE this place, and what made it great was Mike and Jay! They took great care of us... pulled strings to get us a last-minute dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant, made ice for us for our cooler to keep our travel snacks (and wine) cool! The view from our room was beautiful. It's in a great location. Bed was VERY comfy and the room was spacious. We'd definitely stay at one of their properties again.

Great large bedroom , beds and linen were superb we slept very well , the lounge was very nice with such a large TV impressed , great continental breakfast spread , we would return.

I understand there was a fault with the internet being fixed the day of our departure that affected the TV in our room and internet access, its happens but we all like to stay connected.

A hidden gem nestled in idyllic settings. The ambience was pure and simple. The hosts have paid great attention to a modern feel with all comforts.The beautiful cat that resides there was so loving to my daughter. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were sad to leave but excited to return for longer soon. We were offered porridge, berries maple syrup for a breakfast starter, which was plentiful alone. Easy access, parking, and exciting grounds to be free and simply be. I'd recommend this place to any type of traveller.

The farmhouse itself is lovely, quite old-fashioned by very nicely maintained and it didn't feel at all dated. The breakfast was great - a light breakfast, but that's what we're used to. The only downside was that there was a problem with the shower: we were told that this was an ongoing issue with the water company (their fault, apparently) and the manager did ask if we wanted to use another room - but as we were on our way home we just opted to wash.

The only thing was the shower (se above), which was out of the manager's control.

Very nice room and super ensuite facilities. Nicely situated within countryside views. A relaxed place and we slept well in a comfy huge bed with super clean linen. Room had proper furniture with lots of space to store and chairs for relaxation. The shared tv lounge was a bonus. Plentiful and fresh breakfasts. Efficient greeting and checking in process when we arrived late; staff polite and pleasant.

Tv in room didn’t work. Would be better not to have one at all.

Lovely convenient location. Amazing suite of 2 rooms. Will definitely consider returning. Staff were great. Managing host Mike was excellent, so helpful & and accommodating, especially of our late arrival. Gave some feedback on shower temperature fluctuating, quite understandable in a multi occupancy old property & Mike thanked us for letting him know. Very comfy beds & good porridge & breakfast! One of the best places we have stayed in our 2 week tour.

Location was excellent, set a couple hundred yards back from the main road so very quiet. Warmly welcomed by the staff and our room was excellent, with a separate living room area which was handy for our dog to sleep in overnight without disturbing us. The breakfast was continental and was also very good. We would absolutely stay here again.
