lovely stay, very clean and comfy, had everything we required for a 2 night stay. Property was easy to find, private parking with its own private seating area. Thankfully 2 blankets/bed covers where provided and a fan. Petrol station with wee shop within walking distance. Spent a whole day at the nearby botanic gardens, also walkable distance.

Due to the high weather temperatures the property was overbearingly hot when we arrived. Managed to cool the property after closing all the blinds and curtains, opening the windows and putting on the fan for a few hours we managed to get the property down to a temperature we could sleep in. Didn't manage to get into the bed as it was too warm to sleep, Slept on the top with a blanket over us. Put us off a little with all the instructions of what we needed to do, before, during and after our stay. Understandable from a property owners view, as the property is immaculate but off putting when you just want to enjoy your holiday. We couldn't get the TV to work, but not a big deal for us.

Beautiful location, apartment spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated it has everything you would need in it. Good parking area with secure gates. Perfect for a couple who want relax and recharge. Option of exploring the local area, going for walks or a short drive into the main town which has plenty of cafe's, bars and pubs, lovely walk along the esplanade with fantastic views which on a good day you can see for miles. Ferry's from Gourock to Dunoon every 10 minutes, great service.

The Wee Ludging Cottage was warm, comfortable and convenient for all our plans during our stay in Dunoon. There is plenty of information in the property regarding the area, use of appliances within the property and suggestions for activities, eating out and accessing food stores. It was adequately furnished and supplied with kitchenware for 2 people in the fully fitted kitchen. Contact before arrival was explicit regarding bringing own food/refreshment supplies and a small welcome basket was available. The was no personal interaction with hosts although a number for necessary or emergency contact was made available.

Me......I did not pick up from the photographs or information that the 'studio' meant that the bed was in the open plan living/dining/ kitchen room. It was a very comfortable set up but not to our taste - my reading needs to improve.

Impressed by how well thought-out and optimised the space is. Fully equipped and furnished with taste (you can even find a hot-water bottle!). Lovely and very discreet landlords. Ideal for a quiet and relaxing retreat in a picturesque setting. Walking distance from Benmore Botanic Garden and Puck's Glen.

I wish we had a car to explore the area. We could have crossed by ferry.

This chic little lodge had everything you could wish for when visiting the beautiful area around Dunoon. It is perfectly located for exploring the area. The lodge is extremely private, has its own gated parking and it overlooks the forest. Hanging baskets finished the look on the patio - lovely. We loved the well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. Little touches were nice like the wildlife books and binoculars. The bed was so comfortable, best sleep for some time! Maybe the clean Scottish air helped too.

Absolutely nothing, apart from we didn’t see the resident red squirrel 🐿️

What a find !, This beautiful wee cottage had everything we needed , set in a glorious, tranquil location , loved the quality of the place , after a long drive , to sink into those very comfy armchairs was much appreciated , the decor was fresh , modern , very pretty , lovely soft towels , pristine bedding , super clean , would love to stay again ,,, !! Beautiful holiday home in a gorgeous location. The cottage was spotless and well equipped with everything and more that we could need for our stay. So quiet and peaceful with breathtaking walks nearby. Pucks Glen and Benmore Gardens are nearby and stunning! Local shop is close by and a short distance to Dunoon for other groceries. Hosts kept in touch with details and communication was excellent. We were visiting as our teenage son was away on a skiing trip and we thoroughly enjoyed some peace and relaxation, child free for a few days. Amazing part of Scotland!

We loved everything about this wee gem. It's our 2nd visit and we're looking forward to another in June. The place was immaculate and a great view from the decking. The views amazing peaceful just perfect couples retreat lovely treats left to nice bed was very comfortable loved the two chairs to sit and look out at view plus could have breakfast in bed look out at the view well decorated decking lovely to all good would highly recommended
