The staff were all very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was comfortable and the fresh water and Tunnocks teacake each day were a nice touch. The breakfasts and dinners we had in the hotel were very tasty and served with a smile. Excellent location for us accessing the Dunoon ferry.

The bar/restaurant was bustling each night we were there (which was great!) but not so great for noise in our room.

I wanted to say thank you to the Inverkip Hotel staff. I stayed here so that I could go for my dad’s funeral and they did an excellent job looking after us. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely designed. It was the perfect size for a group. The breakfast was filling and frankly delicious. The staff were nothing short of phenomenal. I am immensely appreciative for what they did for us, and how accommodating they were. I hope to come back in happier circumstances. But nonetheless, they made what was a very tough day a lot more comfortable.

Great location with off-street parking. The hotel was spotless and the staff were friendly and smartly dressed. Has a real family feel and plenty of staff on-hand so you never felt you had to go and look for someone. Service was excellent. Room was comfortable and clean with everything you would expect for an overnight stay. We loved the Whisky Bar and the breakfast was first class. Ready exactly when ordered, piping hot and very tasty.

As our one night stay coincided with a key Scottish Euros match, we were upgraded from our room above the bar to a quieter and much bigger alternative. The staff were proactive, helpful and friendly. We had an excellent dinner in the evening with a menu offering interesting choices. Breakfast was timely and freshly prepared.

The car park is directly behind the hotel and to access it one has to trolley a bag up/down a steep incline. The hotel needs to think about upper level access for those who need it and in particular with baggage.

A beautiful hotel/restaurant/bar in a wee town . The hotel was quirky and beautiful run my a family, with old creaky stairs, floors and the rooms were spacious. A beautiful restaurant within the hotel and we had an amazing home hearty meal!

Just not accessible for disabled people as no lift 🛗 as it’s an old building, but they have 1 floor of steps to climb, but that is what makes it unique.

The room was spotless, and comfortable. The guy who booked us in etc, was fantastic. Danny I think his name was. Friendly, polite and helpful. The bars were comfy and atmospheric, but very very busy.

We had quite a long wait for our meal, seemed like a lot of waiting staff milling around, but no explanation as to why we had such a long wait for food (40 mins from being seated til served) we had haddock and chips haddock lovely, but let down by basic frozen chips.

All of the staff were friendly, helpful, polite and welcoming. After being stuck on the mainland with nowhere to stay for the night due to all ferries being cancelled, I came across this lovely hotel on line. So glad that I did. Next time I'm visiting family, I will either book in for the night or pop in for food, either way, I will definitely come back. Everything and everyone were amazing.

We were very happy with our stay, they could accommodate us last minute (our Ferry to Isle of Arran was cancelled so we couldn't get to our accommodation for the night). The dinner at the restaurant was absolutely devine, the kids enjoyed their food. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

The breakfast was a little underwhelming compared to the delicious dinner we had the night before. Also no spare blanket in the room.

Good location for the marina, we were looking at a yacht. Easy walk from the station. Hotel was comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly. Evening meal was very good and we arrived slightly late and it was no trouble.

Breakfast was okay, could have been better without too much trouble.

Good location for my purpose, car park, beer garden, pleasant bar and restaurant. Friendly approachable knowledgeable staff, excellent cold beer, good food. No pretentiousness, just good fare.

Some aspects of the hotel are showing their age, but nothing was broken or didn’t work.
