We felt welcomed and looked after. We arrived 15 mins before the kitchen closed but we had the most delicious dinner and didn't feel rushed. Our elderly pug was greeted warmly. The chap on duty was friendly and helpful and very pleasant. We had a lovely walk along the waterfront which is just across the road from the hotel and from the suite, we had a view of the water which was a real treat. We chose room service for breakfast, which was very organised with evening menu choices completed the night before. The room service charge was higher than expected, but it meant we could relax over breakfast with our dog. The room service breakfast was lovely and having it with a view of the water was just smashing. We loved everything about our stay.

The room was clean. The shower was really powerful, so be careful. We were met with a lovely young gentleman when we arrived and was asked if we would like a hairdryer which I thought was a lovely touch. We were given a card to pick what we would like for breakfast, which was a nice touch. The room wasn't big but enough for us. The towels were plenty and lovely an soft. For breakfast, we were greeted with a lovely lady. Our breakfast was amazing and hot. Huge pot of tea plenty of toast amd the eggs were cooked to perfection 👌. The weather was lovely so the seating area outside was lovely and clean too. All in all we had a lovely overnight stay. Will definitely be back. We'll done your hotel us lovely.
T.v could have been a wee bit bigger but that's just been picky if im honest

I enjoyed the convenience of the location, (walking distance of town, bus connections, walking distance of ferry.) The room was clean, and comfortable. I did not eat at the hotel, as I had a delayed arrival on first night and was meeting up with friends for the rest of my stay.
Was very happy with the hotel overall. I cannot comment on the food as I did not eat at the hotel but all of my contacts with staff were very friendly and helpful. I needed to extend my stay unexpectedly and they tried to accomodate my requirements, then my god-daughter offered me a room at her little cottage and they were kind enough to cancel my extended booking without any fuss. Would stay here again.

The food eas fresh, really well cooked and exceptional for a 3 star hotels. Breakfast or dinner was unbeatable and equal to that of The Lorne. The bed was fine and the room was large and lovely and spacious. All of the staff were friendly and really welcoming of us. They were attentive and keen to help and serve We had a fantastic 4 night stay in the suite and loved every minute. Position was fantastic with great views
The loo seat was loose and the water took almost 30 minutes to fill the bath.

We paid a little more for the big room on the top floor which was very spacious with sea view Very comfortable firm bed Jacuzzi bath (but it took forever to fill - turn taps on 20 minutes before you want the bath) Friendly helpful receptionist Good location near the sea esplanade and also not far from charming woodland walk up Bishop's Glen
There was no catering available and we had no advance warning that this would be the case until we arrived. Alternative dinner and breakfast venues were suggested but they were nearly 1km away in town centre Lots of soft lighting options in the room but none strong enough to read by in bed Bike storage point provided but it is not covered

Whenever we visit Dunoon, we always stay at The Park Hotel. They serve a fantastic full Scottish breakfast, which we enjoy in our room since dogs aren’t allowed in the dining room. The rooms are consistently clean, the staff are incredibly friendly & there’s always plenty of free parking available. The prices are very reasonable & this includes their evening meal menu, which so far, have been excellent. We highly recommend it!

The staff are wonderful. So professional and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived at short notice due to a family bereavement, so were given an available room which was adequate for our needs, albeit a twin room. However, when a room with a king-sized bed became available the next day, we were given the option of moving to this room and Marianna, the owner, even offered to move our luggage rather than inconvenience us. Both her and Adrian, the manager, went over and above to make our stay welcoming and comfortable. Both the breakfast (inclusive) and the evening meal, available to book at an additional cost, were first class.
Everything fantastic. Highly recommend the Park Hotel, particularly for a weekend or short stay. Poss better lighting in the bedroom but only a personal preference.

Location is great for the ferry. Check-in was good and staff pleasant. Breakfast was good with a pre-order requirement. Scrambled egg and salmon excellent. We got an upgrade to room 26 which was at the top of the house up steep stairs. The room was sizeable with 2 sofas and a small table and 2 chairs as well as a bed. Bathroom was big and had a jacuzzi bath with shower over..
The bedroom and bathroom needs a good clean and a bit of updating. The room was hot with little air coming in. Left windows open which meant we heard a local party and row going on. No evening meal option on Sunday night. We got a taxi to the Lorne which cost approx £5 each way and food was excellent. Recommend booking. Had to ask for a hairdryer at reception. Lighting in room was poor and location of plugs for a mirror not thought out. Jacuzzi bath took over 30 minutes to fill to the bottom of the jets so I gave up. Hotel generally could do with a bit of TLC.

Hotel a short, walk along the waterfront, to main town. Front entrance to hotel very pretty. Very helpful, polite and friendly staff. Very tasty and filling breakfast.
Hotel advertised as doggie friendly but dogs not allowed in either restaurant or bar. Reason being that people can be allergic to dog hairs. Surely if that was the case you wouldn’t book into a doggie friendly hotel!

Double bed was two single beds together. Slight dip in the centre Breakfast: Full breakfast was good. Smoked salmon and scrambled egg: the salmon was pale and too salty and the scrambled egg was tasty but firm (it depends on your interpretation of scrambled egg). Staff were friendly and attentive (extra toast!!) Didn't use the bar so can't comment on prices or service Struggled with the online television.... Overall a good place to stay, quiet location not far from the town centre. We'd stay again
