We stayed for one night on the 10th October. We liked everything. From the minute we arrived our host Keith could not do enough for us. The room was cosy, and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Keith and his staff could teach a lot of the big impersonal hotel chains a lot about the personal touch and how to treat customers. He was welcoming and friendly. The whole guest house is like I remember them from my days as a child. Full of lovely little homely touches. From the chilled water in the fridge and a bottle of chilled fresh milk for our coffee and tea. Not the horrible sachet stuff you get in hotels. Breakfast was unbeatable. None of your measured mass produced portions here. All good freshly made produce. Full Scottish breakfast with fresh home made bread and pancakes. Accompanied with freshly baked croissants, real fresh fruit salad and yoghurt, and as much fresh juice coffee and tea as you want. All made to perfection and piping hot. No wrinkled tasteless hotel buffet food here, it was amazing. Set us up perfectly for the day ahead. St Leonard's is all about the personal touch and is such good value for money.. it's spotlessly clean and its location is perfect for Largs town centre and other attractions. We'd often tried to book it but it was always full. We were lucky enough to get a vacancy this time and we'll definitely be back, that's if there's availability. It's a gem of a place.

Couldn't find anything that wasn't of a high standard.

The customer service from Keith and his wife was amazing. My room was clean and secure, it was made clear if I needed anything or any information about Largs and the surrounding West Coast area I just needed to ask. It was an extremely hot spell of weather and I had fresh water in my room every day. The breakfast was excellent with continental style and a fry-up and freshly made coffee. Toilets and bathroom were spotless. I can’t thank them enough for looking after me while I was in Largs for a painting course. I was out every day, outside, often with a lot of walking. When I came back to St Leonard’s after a full on day of learning and painting it was like coming home. I hadn’t planned to head back to Largs so soon but I’ll probably head back during the summer because my stay was so positive.

St Leonard’s Guest House is such a quaint, homely bed and breakfast. Keith the owner made us feel very welcome and was so lovely. The room was clean, modern and had everything we needed (and more) for our stay. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, you can really see how much care and love goes into this B and B and I can’t recommend it enough. If we are ever needing somewhere to stay again in Largs, we will definitely be staying at the St. Leonard’s Guest House. Thank you again Keith and family.

There wasn’t anything to not like! The only thing was the weather as it was raining as we were leaving which was typical!

We both liked everything about St Leonards guest house,the owners Keith and Leah were very friendly warm.and welcoming. The whole guest house was beautifully presented and extremely clean. We were met by Keith when we arrived he showed us to our room which was really homely,there was a fridge in the room with cold water and some fresh milk,which was a real treat. The shower products, towels and the bed linens were obviously of high quality. There was parking free of charge, which was also an added bonus. Keith told us about the area and recommended some pubs and restaurants to us. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a range of cereals, fresh fruit,yoghurt, and fresh juice. We tried the homemade seeded bread, which again was delicious . The cooked breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable and just what we needed after a busy day the day before. We slept well as the bed was very comfortable I have to say the whole guest house was wonderful to stay in. They have worked very hard, and you can tell We hope to stay again and highly recommend it.

Everything was great there was nothing to dislike

Can’t fault St Leonards Guest House. Staff were very accommodating of the fact that we needed to check in a bit later, and when we arrived Keith was really friendly, asked us how our day had been etc which makes you feel very welcomed from the start. The room was perfect for what we needed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The little touches (ear plugs, ambient water, cold water, milk…the list goes on!) makes it feel that bit more luxurious and homely. Breakfast was delicious, there was plenty to eat and all the food was fresh and cooked beautifully. Overall, you get more than what you pay for here and we left feeling refreshed and full!! If we’re staying in Largs again we’ll be booking in here, Thank you 😊

Beautifully presented and equipped room and facilities. Immaculately clean. Lots of extras, including kettle, fridge, tea, coffee, fresh milk, and 2 large bottles of water. 4 USB charging points. Very friendly, welcoming host who prepared and served a delicious breakfast. Continental and cooked breakfast available. Would definitely return.

Bed mattress softer than I like and very warm under duvet although room temperature was cool. Otherwise, very comfortably prepared and wouldn't put me off returning.

Keith the host met us at the door and showed us to our room. He was very polite and friendly. Such a lovely welcome. The room was immaculate, there was only a couple of things to pick up on was the toilet seat being loose and the bathroom door didn’t close from the outside, you could only close it it you were inside the bathroom by using the slide bolt.

As above the loose toilet seat and the bathroom door not being able to be closed over properly unless you’re inside the bathroom.

Fresh fruit, warmed croissant, juice.The cooked breakfast was delicious, especially the bacon from a local butcher. Tea & toast and spreads. All presented and served with first class attention to detail. Breakfast room welcoming and bright. The bedroom was fantastic, I was very grateful to be upgraded to larger room from my single, where I had a sea view of the ferry sailing across to Millport. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Appreciated the fresh milk and carafe of water in fridge. Loved all the little plants, ornaments, around the premises, tasteful and stylish. Attention to detail and obvious pride in making the guest feel at home. The best experience and recommend highly.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Hospitality was first class. I will book en suite next time, only because this is now my preference. Just starting to explore UK.

We were met by the owner Keith who helped us in to the hotel showed us a choice of room and offered to help with my wife’s mobility scooter he gave us a choice of room and breakfast times and security protocols the room was light and airy good double bed and a recliner chair perfect for my wife’s bad back it was immaculately clean breakfast was cooked to a high standard and well prepared and delivered to table nothing was a problem

Absolutely fabulous little guest house. The whole house is just lovely. My single room was small but had everything I needed for a lovely stay.. Including a bathrobe, which is a nice touch. The shared bathroom I used was absolutely spotless, as was the whole house. Lots of lovely little touches.. Qwerky ornaments etc. The breakfast was superb, all freshly cooked, with quality ingredients. Keith, the owner was lovely. Very friendly and professional. He clearly takes great pride in his business, and it shows. Very good value for money as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at St Leonard's again in the future, if in the area.
