Can’t fault St Leonards Guest House. Staff were very accommodating of the fact that we needed to check in a bit later, and when we arrived Keith was really friendly, asked us how our day had been etc which makes you feel very welcomed from the start. The room was perfect for what we needed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The little touches (ear plugs, ambient water, cold water, milk…the list goes on!) makes it feel that bit more luxurious and homely. Breakfast was delicious, there was plenty to eat and all the food was fresh and cooked beautifully. Overall, you get more than what you pay for here and we left feeling refreshed and full!! If we’re staying in Largs again we’ll be booking in here, Thank you 😊

Fresh fruit, warmed croissant, juice.The cooked breakfast was delicious, especially the bacon from a local butcher. Tea & toast and spreads. All presented and served with first class attention to detail. Breakfast room welcoming and bright. The bedroom was fantastic, I was very grateful to be upgraded to larger room from my single, where I had a sea view of the ferry sailing across to Millport. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Appreciated the fresh milk and carafe of water in fridge. Loved all the little plants, ornaments, around the premises, tasteful and stylish. Attention to detail and obvious pride in making the guest feel at home. The best experience and recommend highly.

There was nothing I didn’t like. Hospitality was first class. I will book en suite next time, only because this is now my preference. Just starting to explore UK.

Absolutely fabulous little guest house. The whole house is just lovely. My single room was small but had everything I needed for a lovely stay.. Including a bathrobe, which is a nice touch. The shared bathroom I used was absolutely spotless, as was the whole house. Lots of lovely little touches.. Qwerky ornaments etc. The breakfast was superb, all freshly cooked, with quality ingredients. Keith, the owner was lovely. Very friendly and professional. He clearly takes great pride in his business, and it shows. Very good value for money as well. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at St Leonard's again in the future, if in the area.

a superb guest house. Keith, the owner was so friendly and incredibly efficient, really going the extra mile. The room was very comfortable, and enhanced by two lovely armchairs. There was even a small fridge in our room with supply of fresh milk and chilled water- a lovely touch. The beds were very comfortable and we had huge fluffy towels. Breakfast was delicious- cooked to order and included freshly made pancakes. A selection of fruit was freshly prepared in glasses each day. Lively freshly brewed coffee and tea with refills as wished. The whole place was immaculate and very welcoming. I will definitely be back. Thank you 😊

The Breakfast was amazing! Every morning there was a variety of fruit beautifully displayed in a large glass, croissants were freshly baked if you wanted. A selection of cereals, yoghurt and if that wasn't enough you got a cooked breakfast with bacon and eggs, baked beans, toast, jams, and the best black pudding I have ever tasted!!! Keith was an amazing host, and he would always try to accommodate any request, very tasty meal!

I was sad to leave such a loved warm place.

This was one of the best B&B's we have stayed in. Keith was very responsive before our arrival and when we arrived he was very welcoming. We loved his humour and the care he takes with his guests. He not only goes the extra mile, he goes above and beyond! The B&B is lovely, decorated with so many pretty details, the room was excellent and the shared bathroom was great. Breakfast was delicious, homemade and again, a lot of care put into it. Keith also gave us helpful tips on the area. We will definitely be back! Thank you Keith for a wonderful stay!

Keith was an excellent host! He advised about best local eateries; offered to take us to our choice. The bedroom was comfortable, a tad small but well equipped with small shower and toilet; good TV; tea & coffee, biscuits, etc. It had a fridge with real milk and chilled water. Breakfast was very good, with juice, cereal choice, fresh fruit cocktails, yogurt, croissants, toast, and a fine plate of full Scottish - with bacon, sausage, fried egg on potato cake, black pudding, fresh cooked tomato, etc. And a cafetiere of fresh coffee. All good!

Nothing that would persuade us not to return!! We were delighted with our overnight stay at St Leonard's Guest House. For what we paid, this was an excellent place to stay, and Keith was an excellent host.

Keith is a fantastic host. Really hospitable and genuine. Room was very clean and some nice added touches to make it homely too. Really impressed with the shower and bathroom aswell. Breakfast was great, superb selection to choose from. Including fresh fruits / cereals and pan au chocolates. Aswell as the cooked breakfast with teas and coffees and fresh juice.

Everything, particularly the engaging chat and banter with my host at St Leonards. The ambience of the location, its convenience to the railway station. Also the recommendations for good pubs to visit for good food, because we don't all like take-away junk or stodgy pizza.

I couldn't fault the place. I repeat, I couldn't fault the place. And for the avoidance of doubt, I will say it again, I couldn't fault the place. What else can I say? And to confirm, there was nothing about which I could complain.

The greeting on arrival and being showed around to where everything was located. I was in a single room the was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The shared bathroom was very spacious and had a lovely big shower. A separate toilet was fantastic meaning you weren't keeping people from the bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic and set you up for the day.

Nothing I didn't like. I would happily stay here again.
