We really enjoyed our stay here. They were kind enough to have our room ready early as we were attending a wedding that day, and the host (sorry - forgot to catch your name!) was so friendly and welcoming. The room was big and the bed was really comfortable. We also stayed for breakfast and everything was cooked fresh, which we enjoyed with a lovely sea view in the breakfast room. Thanks so much!

I have stayed here before and it is a great location with lovely views. We did self check-in this time as Kloe was busy but usually there is always a warm welcome. I hadn't stayed in the family room before it has the garden view which is nice and room was large bathroom small but enough and always great to have kettle with tea and coffee supplies! Beds were comfy and had a lovely sleep. We didn't do breakfast on this occasion but they do a great breakfast too could smell the bacon in the morning!

We enjoyed the location as it was 5min walk away from the city centre with open castle bay in front. We had visited on the day of Viking festival and the host guided us. The place had its own parking which was a big plus, though parking is available on the road. We booked 2 rooms. The double bed one was with garden view but the single room on first floor had an awesome view. The best part of the stay was the Scottish breakfast served with lots of warmth and smile by the host.

Booked a room for my elderly father who had a lovely time at Broom lodge, and was well looked after by Shona. Huge thanks... After my dad forgot his phone, Shona kindly let me chat to him on her phone (whilst making him a lovely breakfast). Great location on the front, lovely rooms and good prices and value. Breakfast was fab. Five star Scottish hospitality.

Ideal location close to train station, shops and restaurants. I have visited several times before and this time I hadn't booked for breakfast because I wanted a more lazy start to the day but they offer a great breakfast! I have stayed in different rooms this time I had the sea view single room and it is a lovely bright room with everything you need.

We had room 5 which was on the top floor, it was a bit of a climb with a suitcase. Would recommend anyone with mobility issues ask for a first floor room. Secondly the en suite shower room was a bit small for a person who stands 6 feet and is fairly broad. This is an observation not a criticism.

The property is ideally situated for access to the ferry and rail and overlooks the water with lovely views across to Cumbrae. Very comfortable and homely, a warm welcome awaited me from Seona. A comfortable room with a view, bright and airy , clean and lovely.

Nothing to dislike as Seona has thought of everything for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Location was right in the centre of Largs but it was a beautiful location as it faced onto the promenade and the little lights were lovely to look at especially at night. The interior of Broom Lodge was lovely. The room was bful, very spacious and was great having a TV in room with kettle. The owner was very kind and couldn't have been more welcoming. Would definitely stay again

well placed on the seafront and within easy walking distance to the town centre. Very good breakfast was included. The bedroom was spacious and very quiet overlooking the back garden.

parking on the public road outside was ok but this is not the summer period. It may be more difficult then.

Broom Lodge is on the coast with a beautiful view across to Cumbrae. It is conveniently located for the town and ferry and Nardinis with its famous ice cream is a short walk away. Chloe was very friendly and helpful. She ensured my friend and I settled in. The place was very busy and there was only one ensuite single available but the shared bathroom was very clean and not a problem. The rooms had all we needed - kettle, teas and coffees, fridge, microwave, hairdryer. For breakfast, there was a selection of cereal and fresh fruit, juice and yogurts. The cooked breakfast was hearty and kept us going for the day.
