The inn and room were beautiful and cozy. Nice setting with the coast nearby. Breakfast was generous and staff were very friendly. Wish it was more than a stopover for us. I plan to return

Bath drain didn't work which left us standing in a foot of water. Also the check-in deadline was not highlighted enough and I was arriving late which led to a lot of worry especially as there was no way to contact the hotel desk, just a voicemail service and an email address. I wasn't sure what I was going to do if I was just locked out at 10:30 in the middle of nowhere. I appreciated the call from the hotel to make arrangements which came after I had already missed the check-in deadline but it added stress to the evening at dinner and driving down from Oban. Some form of prompt communication should be available during open hours.

Area was stunning, the hotel was warm and inviting and the staff were attentive and kind. The girl who received us at check in her name is Lilly, she was very helpful and very hard working, nothing was a bother to her. The food was tasty warm and plentiful, the bar area was comfortable and lively. Room was clean and warm.... Too warm at times but I guess it was in the heart of the property and no window. Shower was good water was hot.

Not a lot, the shower screen had a damaged seal so the floor got wet, only discovered this after showering.

The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. The meal in the restaurant was good. There was entertainment in the pub that evening, which was brilliant. Everyone in the pub - including the bar staff - were having a great time.

There were problems with the TV in one room, and no bath in the other. The breakfast could also have been laid out better - i.e. been given fresh tea/coffee rather than getting it out of urns. I would have liked the option of some fruit for breakfast also. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Stunning view of lake-side, good dinner and breakfast. Miss Sandre who took care of us, she was really sweet although we saw her running around same busy bee to take care every guests, she always being hospitalised and smile always. Bathroom was nice and clean.

We stayed one night in room without window in this property, and would not recommend, as the property situated just along the side of stunning lake view. The room decorated in black and used dim lights which make room looked gloomy. We felt like staying in Addams Family's house. And they seemed short of staff, so we always got delayed service.

The hotel is in a beautiful location on the banks of Loch Craignish in Argyll. Perfect for walking and wildlife spotting. Excellent breakfast and dinner. The chef really takes pride in making tasty, well presented food. Staff were all friendly. Our room (Uist) was quite small but had everything we needed. Plenty of parking.

It was very warm when we were there and the room was quite stuffy even with the window open at night.

The hotel has been refurbished and everything is new and in good condition. There are very interesting pictures on the walls and also objets d'arts. Good supply of tea, coffee etc and also tissues! We had a delicious dinner and our table had a fabulous view of the loch. The location is sensational and there are lovely areas to sit out.

We were told breakfast was between 8 and 9 am. The door to the breakfast room was still locked at 8.20. The staff member on duty then opened it and said breakfast didn't officially start till 8.30. This was an unfortunate incident, but 8.30 still seems a very late start for breakfast with most hotels serving it from 7 or 7.30.

We enjoyed our stay as a family of 3, we stayed for 3 nights and had a proper rest before we explored the nearby areas. The size of the room is sufficient and the bathroom is massive and modern, cleanliness is 10/10. The breakfast is excellent, made to order and included in our stay. The Staff are amazing, special shout out to Robert who was so kind and accommodating to our needs and very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel, all staff were nice. The food was excellent, huge portions at breakfast, so fresh and tasty and presented beautifully. Great atmosphere in bar area with everyone very friendly, great for dogs too..Will definitely return despite the one aspect we didn't like.

Bed linen and duvet made bed too hot. Pure cotton covers would be preferred. No king size beds so possibly felt worse being a double.

This is a gorgeous spot to stay. It’s not easy to get to if you don’t know the area well, but it’s definitely worth it when you arrive. It’s a very popular place, but it’s also lovely and peaceful in the rooms. The rooms are accessible, clean and comfortable. We are staying in the Skye Suite, which has nice touches like a mini fridge and streaming services. The host is very friendly and helpful too!

Excellent food, staff where amazing and so friendly, location was stunning

Room was a bit dark for our taste, however was comfortable, needed a bit more privacy on the window as people walked right by the room. Door to separate rooms from bar kept open and our room was right beside this door, could be kept closed/locked to give more privacy from guests/public
