Room was very nice but got very hot during the day as it faced west. By the evening it had usually turned into a sauna… The beds were very comfortable and there was lots of space to store things. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room, I went to sit on the staircase outside… which was actually quite pleasant with the room being very hot. Breakfast was great in the cafe. Inverary is a lovely lovely place, especially the castle is beautiful and the views you have on Loch Fyne are fascinating.

The ‘refreshing’ of the room was kept to a minimum each day, with the shower never being cleaned…

What a lovely place! We felt right at home immediately. Our rooms were so spacious and comfy - the bathroom was gigantic and I couldn't resist taking a bath in the wonderful new bathtub. The bath products also smelled amazing. There were little treats in the room and really nice mugs for tea and coffee in the morning. Everything was also super clean. We had dinner next door at The George (I think that's what it was called) which was delightful and there's a little store across the street from the hotel that has pretty much anything you could need. We had to leave early in the morning so couldn't enjoy the breakfast that was offered but they gave us to-go containers for food and drinks which was very kind. The woman who welcomed us initially was also very friendly and helpful. It's a sweet little town - highly recommend if you're stopping through!

Really comfortable room. Great bed, very spacious & clean. Very friendly staff. Amazing location - couldn’t have been located any better.

Breakfast - unfortunately you have to pay to have anything other than the continental breakfast. It is advertised as a hotel but it is more of a bnb or private room. We specifically wanted a hotel as we were travelling with a baby so wanted to be able to access food etc from the room. There is nowhere comfortable to relax except for your room. It was significantly more expensive than the Loch Fyne Spa hotel which is where we stayed the night before which was more luxurious (spa, big breakfast , room service). That being said, we still loved the room and our stay, it was just not entirely what we expected and not as great value for money.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at The Brambles! The spacious room & bathroom were very clean and cozy. The water pressure was strong and there was plenty of hot water. The beds were comfy and although our room overlooked the main road, we had no issues with noise. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A plentiful, tasty continental breakfast is served in the cafe. Beautiful location, charming town - we'd love to come back!

Everything was great!

The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept on! Breakfast was generous and all staff were wonderfully welcoming. The room size was generous and presentation was homely.

The noise from the Main Street meant sleep was interrupted. We left the windows open so that didn’t help. The earplugs provided were an excellent touch and we are grateful to have them handy by the bedside. Given the space in the bathroom, it would be beneficial to have a stand by the basin. There was a chair but not big enough.

A lovely hotel in a stunning location. Our room was fantastic! Very spacious with a large comfortable bed, spotlessly clean and nice and warm on a cold winters evening. Can’t wait to stay here again and would highly recommend to anyone who finds themselves in the beautiful Inveraray.

Our room was located at the front of the property and there was a little noise during the night from traffic. This was however, made clear when we booked and the room included a complimentary ‘sleep pack’ consisting of ear plugs should we have needed them, which was a lovely touch. This would certainly not prevent us booking again in future.

Beautiful room with an amazingly comfortable bed and enormous bathroom. Perfect location in the middle of the main street with the delicious Brambles cafe across the road.

Room was a bit warm when it was sunny ( we did see some sunshine 🌞) Windows understandably only open a little. Perhaps a room fan would be useful. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom need a little TLC. The toilet roll holder and shampoo unit were both loose. Nothing that would stop us returning or from recommending this gorgeous Hotel 🥰

Modern, stylish and comfortable room in the middle of town. Our one was well set back from the road so no noise disturbance but earplugs and eye mask are provided which is a nice touch. There's a big bathroom with great shower and bath. It's within a stones throw of a few bars/restaurants and shops and very near the loch shore where there are stunning views. The complimentary buffet breakfast had lots of variety and was very tasty. Staff at the cafe were welcoming and it was easy to check in.

There was confusion over breakfast timings - the emails and host who checked us in said 7.30 but the cafe staff weren't expecting us until 8. Thankfully they were accommodating and let us in out the cold and got it set up a little early

Brambles was in prime location on the main high street meaning it was very easy to get to attractions like the jail and castle as well as the local pubs and restaurants. The breakfast had plenty of options and I was so glad to see gluten free cereal on offer as a coeliac. You could order a hot breakfast for an additional cost and there were very good options available. I loved having a bath in our room, it felt like a real luxury. The room and bathroom were both very big and spacious and spotless. It felt like they had thought of everything from having a welcome pack and area guide to hot drink facilities plus the bed was so comfortable:

It is worth being aware that in our room (in November 2024), the settings of the shower were reversed. For example, if you wanted the shower to be on rainfall you had to turn the handle to the shower head option, not rainfall.

As a last minute booking I wasn't sure of what I would find . I loved the location. On arrival we were greeted like long lost friends and our luggage was taken to our room. The room itself was immaculate and spacious with a lovely walk in shower and plenty of tea and coffee. ( including caramel wafers ). Help is never far away if needed from the staff. Breakfast is served in the cafe. There is a continental option but we chose to pay extra for a cooked breakfast . Simply amazing !!! Staff are so friendly and helpful and made our time enjoyable.

The staircase to the room is a spiral staircase which I struggled a little bit with as I have slight mobility issues but it didn't impact on my stay.
