Great location amazing views and modern rooms also. Facilities are fantastic and staff were so accommodating letting us use facilities both days. Also a newly married couple checked in before us and the staff upgraded their room which I thought was a great gesture.

Didn’t have one bad thing to say about the property.

The hotel is lovely. The staff were great. We booked the thermal experience but would have preferred longer but late booking, so it was our own fault. The jets in the hot tub aren't very strong and took us some time to work them, so it would have been good to have had this explained to us or done for us. The beds were comfortable, and tea, coffee, and extras were a lovely touch. Unfortunately the shower was broken so we had to hold it to shower which wasn't ideal but not the end of the world. There was no advert of room service, So that was disappointing. Breakfast was fab but could have done with more toast. Great quality and fab service!

Dinner was delicious and an amazing menu for quite a remote destination. Lots of options for more local produce too - halibut was delicious! I like where it was situated on the edge of the town, just a short walk to the shops and pubs. The hotel itself has lovely views and feels peaceful. Breakfast was great too - table service for hot food which is nice to have instead of a buffet-style. Plenty to choose from to set you up for the day! We stayed in a deluxe double and there was plenty of room with the pram and cot - provided by the hotel. Clean and fresh bathroom and fluffy towels and bathrobes. The pillows are quite bouncy but a very cosy bed and comfortable mattress to sleep on! We didn’t use the facilities so can’t comment but they did look lovely from outside.

Being a bit picky, but I prefer feather pillows. A little updating to some high traffic areas but this is minor!

We thought the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with our dog too! The room was lovely and spacious and it was a great location for our short stay.

Whilst the hotel, facilities and service were great, we were let down by the quality and price of the food/drinks. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and were very disappointed with the food. We don’t believe the prices (which were higher than the online sample menu) were appropriate for the quality. Being charged £16 for an aperol spritz was ridiculous!

The hotel was very well presented, grounds were clean and landscaped and car park was easy to access. Reception area was very welcoming and clean. Staff were very friendly helpful and gave us a warm welcome. Check in was simple and straightforward and facilities were well explained to us. The room was lovely and clean with additional extras for tea/coffee and biscuits provided. Bed was comfy and room was a good size. Bathroom was great, good size and provided with toiletries and towels. We loved the bar area and bar staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. Dinner was incredible, the food was delicious and the menu was ideal for catering for vegetarians also. Staff again were excellent. The location was fabulous with great views of the loch! Easy access to the centre of Inverary just a short walk. Spa facilities looked lovely despite us not using them.

Due to external factors not caused by the hotel or staff (ie ignorant noisy neighbours) our sleep was very interrupted. The floors in the hallways we found to be fairly creaky/noisy which unfortunately made it worse. We appreciate that ignorant people aren’t the fault of the hotel or the fact it’s an older building but it did dampen the experience. We wouldn’t not be back but we would definitely recommend bringing earplugs. Prices were fairly high at dinner but we understand in this climate everything is expensive!

I especially liked the seriousness with which Crerar Hotels take handicapped accessibility throughout the entire operation.

On a purely personal note, I'd have preferred a few less soignee menu items. Even one slightly more appealing item for those of us with more humble palates would be good. I recognise Loch Fyne Hotel specialises in fine dining and it was a magnificent menu but the only item for those of us with simpler tastes was steak, which I had and it was superb in every way, but perhaps one simple fish or chicken dish would, I am certain, be appreciated. Not a criticism per se as much as a suggestion for greater guest inclusivity.

Dined in the restaurant both evenings and the food quality was exceptional. The breakfasts were also delicious with a great choice. Enjoyed the swimming pool and the salt sauna room.

More storage in the bedroom would have been handy. Restaurant closed up whilst we were still in having dinner and the coffee machine had been taken out of service. I don’t mind a comfortable gap between courses but we should still have had time to have coffee after our meal which wasn’t available. Our booking was 19:00hrs which I would have thought would have offered sufficient time.

We loved the location, as we were going to Inveraray jail, Inveraray Castle and the Bell Tower which were all within walking distance..we had a heatwave the weekend we visited so made everything amazing. The breakfast was perfect, had kippers which were delicious, as was cooked breakfast fruits etc all served with piping hot coffee, the girl who served at breakfast was so pleasant and attentive, makes all the difference. We had Dinner too the fillet steak was cooked to perfection, the waiting staff again were superb. Afternoon tea was perfection also!!!!

One small point, poor choice of TV channels, but in no way did this spoilt our stay.

I booked to celebrate my partner's new job and the team left a delicious tray of pastries, thank you for this! Staff were lovely, the hotel was really welcoming and comfortable, the drinks and breakfast were delicious, the spa was smaller than I imagined but really relaxing. Having games available to play in the evening was great too!

The room was very hot but the fan helped with this. I think being able to book for private use of the outdoor hot tub is a great idea but paying an additional £20 for use of it seems a bit much on top of what you're already spending. There was a little bit of black mould on the ceiling of our bathroom.

Staff are exceptional. Shout out particularly to James who moved our cheeseboard to our room to enjoy later that evening (other hotels would have cleared it away), recommended great wines & generally made our stay lovely-as did all the team. It is a super dog friendly hotel too. Final point-restaurant food is excellent. I rarely compliment a risotto and did so here!

We were given a room (206) on 2nd floor-the whole floor was like a sauna it was very hot with no means of cooling the room down. Our TV did not work. There was no fridge or water in the room which fit the price/standard I would have expected. So the room is the reason I give the hotel 8/10 not higher.
