Did not include breakfast but had facilities to make your own. Staff very helpful and room warm enough. Free parking was great and had a couple of pubs and a convenience store a few minutes away. Main shopping area within 8 mins walk and on a bus route.

My room was next to the main entrance and closest to the road so could be noisy but after 10pm this settled.

So glad I didn't pay attention to the bad reviews on here.. The lady that welcomed us upon arrival was so friendly and helpful, we just popped in early to see if we could park up until check in but our room was already ready and we checked in right away. We had a family room in a separate building to the main hotel, the room was so spacious and had everything we needed, we had big Fluffy towels (enough for all of us) plus toiletries and the fridge and microwave were an added bonus! The bathroom was lovely and modern, the room although a little dated had lots of character. Overall we couldn't have been happier with our stay. Yes you can pick things apart and find fault if you wanted but for the price, the warm welcome and the location we couldn't have asked for more! We love Norwich so will definitely be staying again

The only downside I can think of is the hotel has no restaurant but there's so much nearby that it didn't affect our stay in any way.

Upon arrival the hotel had noted that I asked about disability parking then saw I was using a stick so immediately gave me a room on the ground floor. Undergoing refurbishment currently but there was no disruption to my stay even though my room was next to the main entrance. If you're able-bodied a short walk to the City centre but for me a 5 min drive depending on traffic. Room was massive and included a fridge and a microwave plus the usual tea/coffee facilities, and the bed was comfy.

Obviously no licensed bar or restaurant but then I didn't expect that for the price. I have one small observation. My room was facing the car park and had massive bay windows but I had to keep the curtains shut for privacy most of the time. Maybe just put in some half nets at the bottom please to ease the minds of guests who have this room (Number 1)

Great location, good value for money, free parking and really good facilities in the room.

Not the fault of the hotel, but we stayed during the recent heatwave and the room was so unbearably hot. We were given a fan which was useful whilst in the room, however as the room was on the ground floor and directly next to the car park, we didn't feel comfortable having the windows open unless we were in the room and awake, so it was almost impossible to clear out the heat and the stuffiness. I don't think this would be a problem at all for the 99% of the year where the temperature is normal.

This is now my go-to accommodation when travelling to Norwich because it is so convenient, excellent value for money, kitchenette in room, friendly staff, 2 free car parks, little 'shop' at reception to buy drinks & snacks, & only a short walk to all the amenities Norwich has to offer. I would say that if you find anything missing from your room or require towels, pillows, tea, coffee, milk, etc. just go to reception and ask. They will help.

Bring an eye mask just in case. Some of green exit lights in the rooms are more obtrusive than others.

Great location just on the outskirts of Norwich. a 10 - 15 minute walk gets you to the city centre and most of the attractions. The hotel has its own car park just steps from reception and is included in the stay. Our ground floor room was in the extension so very quiet with no rooms above. Room equipped with fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities which was very handy as no meals are offered. Modern bathroom with toiletries provided

Some clothes storage would have been a bonus. A couple of coat hooks provided and two or three hangers. Not really an issue for a 2 night stay and I assume most stays are short term

The lady on the reception was so lovely.She was very helpful.Our room was lovely with a huge shower even bigger than ours at home.Nice little touches of shower gel n soap, tea and coffee. The bed was very comfy so we slept well.Even thou we were in the city and we could hear traffic it soon lessened and we slept peacefully. We could of left our car there while we went into city shopping but we were heading off elsewhere. What a great place.Hope it's available when we come again

Easy admittance, easy card key. Kettle, fridge and microwave-wow. Toiletries Reception lady very kind and cheerful Window opens more than inch View of House, garden 2 clean towels Coffee etc even biscuits, thank you. Sponge and liquid for sink usage.

Far too humid in room, unable to sleep so top and tailed pillows to allow a breeze from window to hit me. On stripping bed for cleaners ,noticed how dirty ,with stains the Duvet was. Also the sink in kitchen was very stained around plug hole, tea stains??? Noise from doors shutting and others talking.

It was quite roomy for a single room with the added bonus of kitchen facilities and a nice view out . The location was outstanding, near a beautiful public garden with great easy access to the city centre via an overpass and interesting street or park depending on which direction you wanted to go . The place was on a quiet street , and a bus stop with buses through to the train station via the centre was just outside . Staff friendly .

The room got very hot and as the window only opened a little it was not possible to cool it down or ventilate .

The size of the bathroom and the room. The sink, microwave and the fridge were great additions, did not expect that. Free parking on the day we were leaving was great as it gave us time to meet up with friends after we checked out. Location is fantastic - didn't need the car for the entire stay as the city was 10mins away

There was a bit of a smell in the bathroom for some reason and not enough towels, although supplied when requested. Towels were smaller than usual in the hotels as well. Had to request a hair dryer as well as wasn't in the room. There was no wardrobe to put stuff away so the room was messy throughout the stay
