The inn is only a short (five minute) walk from the harbour and is located in a great position. It's an old inn, with fantastic atmosphere and a lovely cosy feeling. I had the fish and chips for dinner and the fish was so fresh it was still flopping on the plate... wonderfully cooked and so tasty. The staff were super-friendly and helpful and made me feel really welcome. The room was slightly out-dated but to be honest, I found that quite quaint. It wasn't the usual chain-styled corporate blandness that you normally get. It was clean, really comfy and warm and the bed was great. The inn is in a quiet location and there wasn't a sound (apart from my car alarm going off once!) throughout the night. All in all, I can totally recommend staying here.

I guess if I was being super-picky, it would have been nice to have a hot breakfast rather than continental, but to be honest the breakfast was fine.

The room was at the top of some outside industrial stairs so not the prettiest welcome , but once inside it was cosy and the bed was really comfy . The Inn served very nice food (I had a Chilli) and a good selection of local ales . The staff were friendly and it was the perfect location for us , with a 750 yard walk to the pretty harbour of Polperro .

The breakfast was very basic toast and cereals, a few pastries and l prefer a cooked breakfast , so l probably should have gone elsewhere but my husband was happy with it. As l couldnt reach the crockery ( l am short and it was all on a high shelf) I had to get others to help me , which was awkward if my husband wasnt available .

The Inn is old looking but very quaint. Outstanding accommodation at the Inn, we had a studio apartment attached to the Pub which was very roomy and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Food was ok but not outstanding. Breakfast was only continental consisting of pastries, yoghurt cereals etc which was very well presented and yummy. Location was perfect just a short walk down the hill into Polperro which by the way is a fantastic little village lots of hustle and bustle. We did the coastal Path walk to Talland Bay from Polperro, lovely walk with a great cafe at the end.

Good location. Friendly staff. Very comfy bed. Allocated parking space for one car. Cosy room with nice clean en-suite.

Even though we were asked if we minded the outside metal staircase to our room it was a bit precarious given the wet weather we had during our stay. It’s not like they could do anything about it though, it is what it is. It meant you had to wear a coat or carry an umbrella to get to the dining area in the pub. The rain was dripping through. The only minor cleaning issue was the windows. Dorma metal windows were very mouldy which was a shame.

Difficult to say as we had such a good stay, however, maybe a bed replacement is due and something we could cook on instead of just a microwave Neither of which would stop us staying with the property again

The location was perfect a lovely old historic inn. Polperro is a must see location in Cornwall. After Breakfast we had a lovely stroll down to the harbour which is quite stunning. In the precious evening we went to Looe for our tea which was nearby. After the walk to the harbour we continued our adventure to the Eden Project (about 36 minutes away). We spent about 4 hours there and then travelled to the Lost Garden of Heligan which were 20 minutes away. Both are stunning - after that we travelled to St Ives about an Hour away.

Great location. Excellent access to South West Coast Path. Nice bar - an authentic old English pub, with excellent bar staff. If you are a fan of the Beyond Paradise TV show, you may be interested to know that The Crumplehorn Inn was used as a filming location. This resulted in us having breakfast at The Plantation Tea Room, a nearby cafe (which was superb).

No shampoo or shower gel.

We are from the US but have longed to visit Polperro for years. We got a chance to visit the UK, was gifted lodgings in a different city, but when this booking popped up, decided the side trip was worth it. Kathryn was great. We got in a little early but when we called her she came down to check us in. She had a wonderful little continental breakfast already prepared in our room with bread, cereals, and other goodies. Very quaint, warm welcoming front room and the bedroom was very comfortable. Very quiet.

We were there in the off season so the restaurant was closed as well as many businesses in Polperro. Still wonderful visit.

The location in the heart of Polperro,the allocated parking and the evening meals in the restaurant which were varied and delicious. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly..We stayed in the family apartment which had a well equipped kitchen,lounge bathroom and 2 double bedrooms,in all a very comfortable stay.

Breakfast was a continental buffet, little hit or miss at times.

The location was perfect, only a short walk into the centre of Polperro. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was great, albeit access up the external staircase with our cases was a bit of a challenge. The car parking arrangements for guests were great.

The Hotel website said the kitchen was closed for lunch and dinner but it wasn’t shut when we got there. There was no cooked breakfast option in the morning. Couldn’t get WIFi access in the room.
